Hi Calin
Thanks, but we are already running an Active tagDiv Composer plug-in.
Could you answer the question I posted about finding someone who can install the new theme version and eliminate any errors that reveal themselves as a result? Who provides this service please? This is a problem for us that we are writing to the forum to resolve after following all instructions provided by you. We need hands on support and our site ready to work for us. What technical solution can you provide or direct us to? Enough is enough. Something is broken and we can’t find out what. We have been running fine for 1, 1/2 years. Something is not right today.
Please direct us to the appropriate hands-on technical support, paid if necessary.
Thank you!
Regards, Antoon

I am coming to see where the problem lies.
I have someone who posts for me on http://www.bayonline.co.nz and it seems that they have installed a plugin ‘WPBakery Page Builder’. TagDiv Composer causes images to be cropped off (specifically on the right-hand sidebar of the magazine Bay Waka cover, and the link behind that), so I disabled TagDiv a while back to correct that problem.
From this experience, it seems that we need to disable ‘WPBakery Page Builder’ and instead reply on TagDiv Composer. Is that right?
I tried turning off WPBakery Page Builder and the site broke immediately.
Do you have any knowledge or experience with what I am talking about, enough to state your advice?
Thank you.
Regards, Antoon
Thanks for your prompt reply Catalin
I’ll look into your advice. It suddenly occurred to me to reinstall the previous version of the theme from December and this restored the site functionality. Unfortunately, I took 24 hour hours of playing around with disabling and enabling plug-ins without success before coming to that conclusion.
I’ll read from your links later when I have time and see if I can get the new version to work correctly.
Thanks, Antoon
Well, it took 24 hours of turning off all plugins to try and get the new theme to work, until suddenly it clicked we still held the old Newspaper theme versions, so I installed the December 2018 theme version and the site came back to life.
What a disastrous release right before Easter holidays! Hopefully tagDiv will report they have found the fault that broke our site. At least I will remember to put the old theme back if it breaks again.
I guess this is called gaining experience.
Thanks Simion
I uninstalled the Mobile plugin and the Yoast plugin. Forgot to clear any cache.
installed the Mobile theme plugin provided in the topic above.
installed the latest Yoast plugin.
Everything is working fine now.
problem solved.
All the best, Antoon
Thanks Simion
I discovered the cause of the problem was the SEO plugin called ‘Yoast SEO’.
Can you recommend an alternative SEO plugin that works collaboratively with the Newspaper theme to replace Yoast?
many thanks
