If I delete the css, the page title appears twice. The css is to hige the page title. I just need a template that pulls post and page titles to the h1 element, without having to add css to hide page titles. Post titles work fine, just page titles I have this issue.

Hi, no it wasn’t you, this was around 2 years ago when I paid for custom work from yourselves. However, I am just looking for a solution.

At the moment, the page title is in the header tag, which has a global setting. The single post template picks the h1 tag up perfectly fine, and although pages do, it’s adding the h1 in content, which your custom people then hid in the css.

How can I get the page h1 to appear once, without hiding the h1 tag. Surely if we use h1 element, it doesn’t always duplicate the h1 from editor, or does it?

td composer isn’t good for content, as gutenberg or wp editors are better for seo. All I need is a page title element for pages, as there is for posts, that picks up the title from gutenberg. At the moment, the page title element removes post titles correctly, but doesn’t remove page titles, so your designers removed my h1 page titles using css which is hurting my seo

I can’t do this, as deleting it removes the post title from the content on every post. Also, the page title doesn’t appear in the correct place if I do this.

Hi Bettina,

I have finally worked out the issue. Your team did some custom work for me around 2 years ago, to create the custom design (below the header, containing h1, breadcrumb and call to action box).

As the h1 page title is part of the design, your coders have hidden the page title using custom css on the theme panel. This doesn’t affect posts, only pages.

Obviously, hiding page titles is bad for seo, so my question is, how can I keep this same design, and a single h1 page title, without having to hide a page title in custom css?

Only page titles are hidden, not post titles, the designs are exactly the same and works perfect for posts.

Hi I use wp optimise and the mobile option is active. I’ve used this for years and never had this issue. What’s also strange is the homepage is the only page that does this. All other posts/pages appear correct (mobile theme), but the homepage is pulling the td composer homepage (I’ve checked page settings as well).

mortgageman

Hi, no I checked this already. As mentioned, one day it shows the homepage from the mobile theme, and the next day it shows the tagdiv homepage. Only this page is affected.

Yes, the page title/post titles all appear below the header, but never in the content. Only on this page and any new pages, the h1 title appears in the content. I can’t delete page content with tagdiv so not sure what to do and why this is happening

Hi I did this, but then it also removes the shortcode from the front page. If I turn grids on, the shortcode for my other plugins appears, but then so do the 3 posts. If I turn it off, it turns everything off so I have nothing on my mobile homepage.

The text is displayed in paragraphs on the mobile editor.

I’ve tried adding manual html for paragraphs in the mobile text editor also, however it disappears when I save it.

The text appears as paragraphs, but on mobile device there are no paragraphs. When I do a double space, I get a   in the mobile text editor, but this also doesn’t do anything when viewed on mobile device

mortgageman

Hi the homepage is fine, however any pages that I’ve created, don’t display correct.

The text is not in paragraphs and is all together. If you click one of the pages from the menu, you will see this.

Hi,

I’ve completely removed that plug in, however the logo is still appearing stretched and incorrect.

I have also uploaded the image to the dimensions requested. The logo is centralised now but very pixelated and stretched.

mortgageman

Ok great, also is there any custom code to remove the footer image from mobile device

mortgageman

Ok it seems to be the Async JavaScript plugin causing a conflict.

I installed this to defer parsing of js, is there anything you can recommend for this.

Also I noticed that the scroll to top arrow keeps jumping around the mobile site, is there anyway I can simply remove this?

They appear on http://www.gtmetrix.com when running speed tests as redirect chains.

I’ve never had ads on my site and have always had the option off.

I’ve tested without plug ins, even removed from CDN server and still get the same results. I noticed another post about similar links on this forum also, so I’m not the only one with this experience.

I don’t have any ads present, I’ve never used ads on the site.

I deactivated them from the theme panel when I first loaded the theme, is there any way to manually remove the code as it seems simply turning them off on the theme panel doesn’t do anything.

mortgageman

Hi I am getting these redirects.

I don’t use ads on my site at all? I have removed any codes from the ad section on theme panel and disabled each section using the theme panel.

Please help as I can’t find any advice anywhere online however I can see other people having the same issue. I disabled all plugins and still got the same issue?

Ok I have done this.

mortgageman

There is no plugin conflict as I removed them all and still got the same results.

I simply need the code to paste in css to amend the images from your plugins. If you click on any page, the image at the top of each post gets cut on portrait ipad, as do the images in the body of the text. This has nothing to do with any plugins that I’m using as the issue is still there when I removed the plugins.

Hi,

This isn’t for untested plug ins? This is for the visual composer td image box?

mortgageman

Hi,

I tried the code (pasted on advance css on theme panel and tablet section, portrait and landscape, my results are below. I also tried editing the px to increase the height but it did not work.

Sidebar image works correct portrait, on homepage and pages (but not on posts)
Sidebar image is incorrect landscape, on homepage and pages (but shows correct on posts)

The header images on pages is also appearing incorrect on portrait, but shows correct landscape.

The custom code for the iframe did not work. Do you have any other ideas? The review box works perfectly landscape and portrait, however the ‘ask an expert’ section is cut off both landscape and portrait.

Please note: pages are in the main menu and posts are in the sidebar for pages

mortgageman

Ok I will try that. Is there not any way to edit a simple iframe dimension solely for a tablet?
