Thanks lucian!
@steven Yeah, I was kinda excited to use the block 10 for revamping my homepage after seeing it on the changelog.
Oh wait, block 10 isn’t even available yet. How come the update says it already out?
Hi!
I was able to rearrange them correctly! Thanks for your mini tutorial! Didn’t know that there is also a single_template_2.php file.
It just makes sense that the subtitle should be below the title, right? I hope TagDiv could get this fixed on the next update. It would be more like the one in The Verge.
Thanks again @TheMediumUTM
Even on desktop! Hoping for a fix soon 🙂
I agree with the suggestions above, especially on implementing it on pages.
Hi Lucian,
I did your simple tutorial and worked great on posts.
I need help though on custom post types like in the forums and some pages.
@steven You can bypass this (for the meantime) by editing the css file of the theme.
You can change the font sizes on the .td-post-text-content h1 to h6 on line 2117
Under the post settings you’ll see the new Post Template selection.
Yeah, fonts are messed up. Also, in the visual editor, the Heading 1 and Heading 2 styling are way too big. Anyways, the I like the editor style just needs a little tweaking. I guess it’s for people using custom Google fonts?

Also, how does the new Formats work? I have no idea how to use them.
The Tabs on visual composer are not working with speedbooster enabled.
I think there is an issue too for us using the Jetpack Slideshow, kindly do look it up. The gallery is not loading.
Overall, the update is awesome. Thank you!
Hello to everyone here!
I agree with @indeax that the breadcrumb functionality of the current theme is not working well with custom post types and like indeax, I turned to Yoast breadcrumbs.
Hi, thanks for the quick reply.
Yeah, I’ve actually read that topic but I’m not sure which one I’ll edit for it to show on all pages/posts and other posts types.
I did install the plugin via the latest update and yes, the annoying banner won’t go off.
Thank you marius! 🙂
Christopher,
Thank you for all of your help in the Newspaper theme community! Really appreciate it! Best of luck! 🙂
Yes, having similar problems with the tabs. Using it widely in my site and actually broke it.
TagDiv team pls update! 🙂
Update:
I installed the theme in my localhost/development website and tried it vanilla (no plugins etc) except only with Wp-Visual Composer. Still the tabs are broken. Please update immediately.
I tried disabling any caching plugins and its not the cause.
Check your plugins page, I think Yoast messed it up with its “Premium Support” link.
Additional questions:
1. How to show comments on pages?
2. How to show featured images on top of pages?
How about an option to choose between the previous social sharing buttons (the native ones) with those new ones so we can easily switch.
Thank you!
Hi Radu
I just copy and pasted a table. I think this should be a must for responsive themes. Kindly check some tables in Wikipedia.
So how do you use them as a shortcode?
Can you please provide an example?
