The breadcrumbs appearance on Google SERPs is controlled by theme, yes or yes.
You know very well that this kind of problems comes up after 7.5 version when your developer team changed breadcrumbs markup.

The Seo Yost controls this section.

Nope. So that the Yoast has full control over the breadcrumbs section (structure & appearance), you have to make changes and add manually breadcrumb conditionally on somes files of the theme to make it work.

With all my respect, I think this problem you have to point to your developer.

All yours guidance to another links about “remove or change default fonts” are deprecated for 7.7 version.
The td_config.php was changed regards fonts call.

¿So, you are kind to give us a clue about how remove the call to fonts.googleapis.com?
¿Was only moved to includes/wp_booster/td_wp_booster_functions.php?

Through the panel settings is totally unfeasible because will charge all the pages with thousands lines of CSS inline.

The eternal problem with the Speed Booster plugin is not how Google interprets/see the code, the problem is in the Speed Booster coding.

Please talk with your developer and look seriously a little closer to the problem because all that warnings are related with the Google fonts implemented in this plugin, “Speed Booster”.

Examples of rendering blocking and when appear:

• since I bought your theme, I remove completely any Google font and never I receive that warning; if I use your default font or any other, yes I receive warnings about render blocking.
• when featured image is disabled for posts
• when blockquote is used in comments
• when the post have too much comments (more than 200)

I hope this information arrives to your developer.

I’ve always used your theme without any other untested plugin (only Yoast Premium, Visual Composer & Speed Booster), not even WP Super Cache.

I have to say that removing the Google font, allways we had 99/100 score (both PC & mobile) into PageSpeed Insights and the site charge in 0,4 sec.

Maybe your developers will implement some default option to disable the Google fonts from the panel settings (I think we are many users that keep asking for this).

Thank you for your time but here we not talking about guides or plugins to remove Google fonts from Newspaper theme.
I’ve done it myself since I bought the theme and I have to do it every time I update any version.

We talking about (because we are many users), that we want if it’s possible and TagDiv developers they want, some option in the panel settings that completely disable Google fonts and use default fonts like verdana, arial, etc.

Yes, at the end of the main style.css (of course after that, delete cache, bla bla bla 🙂 )

That delay happen because the main .css load before any other custom.

I think that is some problem from GoogleBot or Yoast because I receive the same errors in all my sites (Newspaper & different WordPress themes).

Note: I’m still using 7.4v from september, so is not the last update.

First, i’m glad that i’m not the only one which pays attention to these parameters.
Indeed, from time to time with some Newspaper version we lose organic traffic and the ranking are duplicated or more.

The clear demonstration is that after downgrade to a stable version, all traffic an ranking positions comes back to normal in a few time.

With all my respect, I think you’re mistaken. The theme yes influences (and a lot) in the organic traffic!!!
Every file changed may affect from 0,1% to up (positive or negative) on the performance & seo on-page.

Bogdan you can use some different social plugins that have this funcionality, e.g.: Mashshare.
On the back-end they have an option “Cumulate Http(s) Shares”.
If you not use Yoast, this plugin will add all Open Graph Meta Tags for you. The only thing, if you want to use all social networks … +/-19$, coze with the free version you will have only Facebook & Twitter., but worth any penny.

Is not about the front-end of the pages/posts, is about the new changes made in v7.5 on the Breadcrumb Markup and his bad impact on the SERPS.

The noindex/follow attributes are for deindex from Google Serp’s that categories.

To hide them from the front-end you have to use the panel theme settings or with css using ID

Yoast Premium works very well, the only thing if you use speed-booster plugin you have to change one line, I mean:
– the line 60 from td-speed-booster.php you have to replace ‘wordpress-seo/wp-seo.php’ to ‘wordpress-seo-premium/wp-seo-premium.php’

And for retina ad, inspect the output code from any featured image and use that peace of code with your image in the widget (of course you have to adapt the width / height with the new banner).
