Hi InstallationComplete,
If use your own images (.gif, .png, .jpg) use this:
For example for one banner 300×600. Is the same output used for featured images and will pass satisfactorily every test about images scale. The only thing, you have to create 2 images (one with original dimensions 300×600 and another x2) and upload them in your folder “uploads” through FTP.

Hey tagDiv, I leave here an example of code and is erased (with both tags

 & )

Hi Football5,
Was fresh 🙂 but is a clean DB (allways theme and only 3 plugins: VC + Yoast Premium + Speed Booster), I mean without residual stuff.
So the circle is little: theme or one of this 3 plugins.

I’m not sure, maybe is Yoast 3.7.0/1 coze I see something in his support forum. Right now seems that Speed Booster plugin even if move CSS/JS to the bottom, Google throw render-blocking for all content less the homepage.

I don’t want to downgrade for the moment to Yoast 3.5.2 because I want to see if we can replicate again the slow down for internal linking.

VPS – Memcached / Zend OPcache – all pages load in 0,3 – 0,5 sec.

Only one advice: ¡Is not a good option for SEO!

nairolf

The same thing!
We have 2 days with an specialist servers looking for this origin.

The site works fine but internal linking (links added manually on the posts for SEO purpose), sometimes it takes many seconds.

I thought I was the only one

… & you have unclosed and stray end tags!

I don’t think that is proper. You call images from localhost

nairolf
tagDiv Member

Hi,
Because for that images you miss rewrite the link (maybe when you transfer from dev to production)

http://localhost/pokevolution_wp/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Pokemon-Sun-and-Moon-Alola-Region-Full-Map-300x212.jpg Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Yes,
I had the same experience.
If properly configured on the server, you don’t need the plugin

Hi,
You can remove the lines 17 & 18 from header.php

And the same for all feature updates

nairolf

Hi again guys,
Please, your kind to ask your developer ¿what happen with category & tags pages?
Like you see on the printscreen, we use only default theme without third plugins and Speedbooster enabled.
Even if this minimum 3 resources are placed at the bottom of the source (the same works for posts), Google detect them like render-blocking (for PC and also mobile) only when categories and tags are analyzed.
I have no explanation, for all other pages (pages & posts) we have maximum of points from Insights for both devices, but for categories and tags, no, why?

Thank you!

possibly receive a response on Monday, so nice weekend!

Thank you again! 🙂

I tried for both (category & tags) on the speed booster file:

		if(is_tag()){
            unset($this->style_footer_queue['js_composer_front']);
        }

		if(is_category()){
            unset($this->style_footer_queue['js_composer_front']);
        }

And seems that the .js is removed from source. You can confirm whether it is right?
There’s any way to piece together this two conditions in the same function?

Hi,
For 1,2 & 3: submit only the sitemap_index.xml (and not the childs).
For 4: never use 2 sitemaps!

Hi,
Check your analytics and search if you see significant dropdowns.

If you want to take it seriously, here you have objective about the new changes and not belittle the Phantom Quality.

Is a very very long highway, but worth it

All the best in your project!

Hi,
That is not so easy (seriously). Google not allways send notifications through GW, if it was so simple…
You are the only owner and responsable for what you publish and from where.

There are a simple phrase (which means all) spoken by delegates from Google itself & SEO’s professionals: ¡Be original!

I know I’m not really helping you in this thread, but I’m giving you the best advice.

Hi,
I don’t want to be pessimistic and I hope to be wrong but this smells an algorithmic “penalty”

Hi @slashedbeauty,
Try to make a test disabling the plugin “jQuery Pin It Button For Images”?

Don’t forget to clear all cache after that

Thank you Bogdan!
