Sorry, I don’t think these articles answer this question:
“do you know by any chance if Google will consider it a bad practice if it sticks the ad right below the main section slider on the home page (while using auto ads)? (google typically does not favor anything that pushed the website content down)”.
If anyone can tell from the actual experience it could be great.
Got it, thank you.
And the last question then….
We are trying to follow best practices and eliminate ads that appear right before (above) the content of the post. Which we did.
But since we don’t have control over where google ads popup on tablets, etc… do you know by any chance of google will consider it a bad practice if it sticks it right below the main section slider on the home page?
It would be strange for google to penalize websites for placing auto ads that google decides itself to place in specific places.
Thank you.
Anamaria, please read the ticket.
First, you asked for the link that already has been provided in the first post. It’s ok, happens to the best of us.
But now it is obvious you missed this part as well – “It doesn’t happen on high res screens though.” (The answer as to why you don’t see it has been mentioned in the first post as well). I did my best to save you time for troubleshooting but we seem to be going in circles only because the stuff I mentioned already is being missed.
I would appreciate it if somebody else from the support can chime in and take a look at the issue. Time is of the great essence for us and appropriate support is really important.
Hi Anamita, it seems that auto ads are used on site
This is the site
https://allontario.ca/
Thank you.
“Seems you use auto ads, so those will be automatically placed where they fit correctly ”
I actually use the theme options panel to say where the ads should appear in posts and pages. (Also a reminder, the same ad doesn’t appear on the higher screen resolution in the same place)
Please let me know if there is anything that can be done.

It is Friday, and you are in Romania (I think), which means you will receive this email outside of support hours, then comes the weekend and you are not working.
We just lost 3 valuable days and this could have been avoided if I was able to submit credentials right away. It doesn’t make me look great in the eyes of my client either.
It’s a time-sensitive matter for us since we are running a google ads campaign and we seem to be affected by AMP issues.

Sure, will do.
Most other support forums provide an option to include it in the private post, it would help to save valuable time.
This is for https://allontario.ca/
Thank you.
Hi
2.
So if I have version 10.3 (not 10.3.1) – it means that the VC version should be 5.0.1?
4. Sorry, can’t really accept as an answer.
My complaint was that the block was created with VC and is not recognized for some reason by TagDiv Composer.
Your reply was: “As long the theme updates were made correctly then there should be no problems for pages”
Updates went ok. And we have this issue. How can we solve it?
5.
As much as I enjoy Newspaper theme (rated it 5 stars), this is something that was implemented years ago in VC and it is something that every developer expects from the visual composer. Please add it to the whishlist, or at least count my vote for it 🙂
Cheers.
Elijah.
1.
I have deactivated TagDiv Cloud library and still the content int he posts are not editable using WP BAkery composer. My client is really used to it and at least for now we would like to be able to have some continuity and have it as an option.
I can see the content of the post in the Classic mode, but the moment I click on Backend editor the content disappears and it is not available for editing.
2.
WP Bakery is Version 5.0.1
Does that mean that the latest theme version does not recognize it? (I was under impression that WP BAkery is bundled and should be upgraded with the theme)
4.
This block was created with WP BAkery – a bit strange that it cannot be interpreted by the theme. (On the front-end it is displayed correctly though)
5.
I think your answer explains how to set global custom css.
My question was rather ‘how to do you set css specific to this page only’
In VC it was easy, you click on the css icon on the specific page and added. How it is done with TagDiv Composer?
Thank you.
Just sent, thank you!
Hi Calin, I hope I made it clear that it is not a single error message that I get. Sigh.
Ok, let’s do it again.
1. Please go here: https://search.google.com/test/amp
2. Type the following URL from our site in the field: https://allontario.ca/benefits-hiring-valet-parking-team-weddings/?amp
3. You will see the results as indicated on the screenshot below.
The second and third are not related to plugins.
Please let me know.
OK, another question.
Please take a look at the screenshot:
I don’t understand the difference between Moble+AMP and simply AMP.
I have read the description by hovering over the tooltip provided but it doesn’t explain much.
Can you please provide a simplistic, humanly readable explanation?
Thanks
What about the second message validation message – where is it coming from? (I really hoped you would look at both of them at first time, without me asking)
Can you please also the English version (not Romanian) of the testing page on the screenshots? I have trouble finding the information there.
The man point is indeed the issue is solved, unfortunately none of support replies you provided were helpful. As you can clearly see, there wsa an easy fix that did’t require drastic measures that were offred.
Cheers.
Hi Simon, I was expecting a bit more thorough approach to be honest.
As I mentioned in the initial post – the only change that was one – was upgrade to wordpres to 4.8.
Te problem is actually fixed without restoring anything, please see below the solution. Hope it will help you troubleshoot similar issues with future users complaining about the same thing.
The answer from our hosting support – the problem is evident from the answer.
As per my initial reply I switched the PHP version to 5.6 again and cleared the cache for the website, which immediately had effect as the login page at https://allontario.ca/wp-admin/ started working again without any errors. To test and verify this I created a temporary user for your installation and then managed to successfully log into the dashboard. While there I went to our SG Optimizer plugin -> PHP Config and ran the PHP 7.0 compatibility check, which reported having one plugin out of date and not compatible with PHP 7.0:
Code:
The following plugins/themes are not compatible with PHP 7.0.
WPBakery Visual Composer

I tried research it and as some of the search results sujjest http://www.screencast.com/t/TEYrMu8m – but I can’t even get to wp-admin login page
Please provde a way to send you the credentials.
It would be really nice if you imlplement pprivate content in the forum posts, so I can paste it to here.
Thanks.
OK, I’v figured it out. It seems that this plugin causes the issue – https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/post-types-order/
It i really cool plugin, that I use on every client installation, really great one with great reviews. It is really pity it is not compatible with your theme.
We will have unfrtunately to revisit it.
Doesn’t matter what I specify here
Nothing chages on the actual page. Latest, Aplphabetical, etc – has no effect whatsoever on the post display order.
As mentioned int he previous post – all items int he forum seem to be public, how can I get you the credentials to log in?
Thank you.
Elijah.
You will have to adjust the hosts file on your computers in order to point it to the development site.
Please add the following entries to your host file:
37.60.247.73 allontario.ca
37.60.247.73 http://www.allontario.ca
Then you should log in because the site is in maintenance mode. I would like to send you the login, but every post in the forum seems to be public and there is no place to provide the private content inside the post itsf.
Cheers.
Elijah.
Thank you.
I hpipe you would consider it adding to the wishlist. It maks a lot of sense imho.
Cheers.
Elijah.
