Isn’t there something I can change in the css code, or add some custom css that would make the body wider?

Thanks Chris, but I need it to be an exact size (728×90) and if I made it responsive it would choose a smaller banner size.

Also that inline ad code doesn’t seem to work for either the mobile theme or the responsive one, it just shows the [vc_row][vc_column][td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_4″ spot_title=”Advertisement” tdc_css=””][/vc_column][/vc_row] in plain text.

Any idea?

Worked perfect, thanks 🙂

Also regarding the mobile responsive theme (standard), I wanted to know how to change the layout of the themes responsiveness. I know how to do it for the mobile theme plugin.

What I mean is, if I want to add a custom ad into a single post I just go in and put this code into the actual post body [vc_row][vc_column][td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_2"][/vc_column][/vc_row]

The question is, is there a way to do this for the social share box e.g. something like [vc_row][vc_column][td_block_social_share_box][/vc_column][/vc_row]?

Sorry for the confusion.

But visual composer is just for ‘pages’ and as the post template isn’t a ‘page’ how do I get into Visual composer for it?

Also, how do I change the layout of the responsive default template for mobile (rather than the mobile version)?

NB221

How do I get into this place https://www.screencast.com/t/zlQpfrAdq as I thought visual composer was only for pages, and as the default template isn’t an actual page I don’t know how to do it.

Thanks

Ah ok. Is it then possible to to add the social sharing box into each post manually like how you can do it with a custom ad. If so what would be the code?

Which “page” do I do this for in the visual composer as I don’t see a default page?

I am implementing it by inserting the code in the loop file as I need the ads to appear in particular places that aren’t in the template.

Thanks Bogdan.

That seemed to work for non-adsense ads, but for Adsense ads it doesn’t show.

This is an example of the code I put in Custom ad 1

<span class=”td-adspot-title”>Advertisment</span>
<script async src=”//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js”></script>
<!– Desktop Footer Responsive –>
<ins class=”adsbygoogle”
style=”display:block”
data-ad-client=”ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxx”
data-ad-slot=”8388084206″
data-ad-format=”auto”></ins>
<script>
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
</script>

Any idea why it’s not working?

Hey Simon,

Many thanks for that.

I was probably not very clear on what I was looking for in my description of the issue.

I don’t mean about pagination between posts, but between pages in a list/smartlist within a post.

What I need to do is move the social buttons below the pagination within a post (e.g. Smartlist) so that the next buttons to the next page within the list appear below the social buttons). At the moment it seems like the pagination for the lists seems to be within the content though and I can’t work out how to move it as it doesn’t appear in the loop file.

Thanks for trying though.

Great stuff!! Thanks for that!

I got it working just as you described, but how do I remove the gap between the banner and the social sharing buttons as per your result link?

Also how do I PM you the link of my page to show you the banner width vs the post content width?

I did switch the mobile theme plugin off, but Facebook browser doesn’t load that anyway, it loads the responsive one, where the error occurs. So there are 2 issues, first with Facebook browser not loading the mobile version and second the responsive version not working properly in Facebook browser (the logos).

The footer logo doesn’t load either, it just shows a broken link.

I also tried it with the W3 Cache deactivated.

Thanks for the reply Bogdan, but unfortunately its not that as I don’t use WP Super Cache I use W3 Total Cache.

Facebook browser doesn’t load the mobile version, it loads the responsive one. It doesn’t load the logo correctly on it either.

I hear what you are saying about being registered as an official browser, but the reality of the situation is that a very high percentage of visitors will come from Facebook mobile, and will see a broken site if they do. This means that your theme is no good for anyone who wants Facebook traffic (e.g. Viral News sites).

Is there a workaround where the logo can be loaded from somewhere else when someone arrives from a mobile device?
