Hi Team,
Thanks for your advice. I tried to fix the ad size for mobile view. It works. However, the 250×250 size is too small for current mobile screen size. Also, I believe large ads should have higher ad revenue so that I prefer to have larger ads on the screen. Please try your best to fix this issue. Thank you very much.
Hi Team,
I still cannot make the sidebar’s tab as mentioned. Could you kindly assist? Thank you.
I want to have the same one as yours:

Hi Team,

Hi JL,
Too bad, you may need to consult your developer as my developer helped me to fix it before. He inserted something in the page code… I guess.
Hi JL,
You go to Dashboard > Newspaper > Plugins and select tagDiv AMP to update. Then, the plugin will be activated again. Please try. Thanks.
Hi Team,
Solved. Thanks.
Hi Team,
Besides, when I add the ad codes in Theme Panel > AMP, the following error will be found from Google AMP Validator. It will have an adverse impact on Google’s AMP caching as there would be an error. It seems that there is something missing. You can try it yourself. You won’t see this error on my posts as I have removed the manual ad codes on posts to avoid any error. Thank you.

Hi Simion,
For AMP Auto Ads, we don’t need to enter the ad codes in the theme panel. The ads will be automatically inserted into the website. This is the strange point that the ads don’t automatically show up.
Please visit this: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9011465
Thank you.
Hi Simion,
I forgot. The reason for removing the codes I put in Theme Panel > AMP Area is because it causes some non-critical errors when I put the codes there, no matter it is for Header, Footer or Article positions. Thank you.
Hi Simion,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, there were ads but they came from the ad codes I put in the Theme Panel > AMP Area. Now, I removed the manual ad codes. Please have a look again. The ads are not there anymore. However, you can still see the Auto Ads Codes on the pages. You can pick any post from my site.
So, the AMP Auto Ads have not been shown successfully. I am sure I have turned on the AMP Auto Ads in Adsense so that I can get the two codes for <head> and <body>.
This method of inserting the codes in that file you mentioned may not work at all…
Thank you.
Hi Simion,
Thanks. Yes, I put the two codes in the file you mentioned but there is still no ad showing on amp pages.
You may have a look: https://nicobros.com/the-power-of-positive-thinking-summary/amp/
I can see the codes there but it seems that it doesn’t work… Thank you.
Hi Simion,
Thanks for your kind reminder! I am not very familiar with Adsense policy. I have already removed the smart sidebar and cleaned up all the areas which may violate the regulations.
You are very helpful at all. Thank you very much.
Regards,
Francis
We need to edit the Theme Footer file. That’s all.
Hi Team,
It is solved. Thank you.
Hi all,
Yes, it works now. Thank you so much!
Hi Team,
I am sure it is the issue between Newspaper 8 and Yoast. We are just the users of both two applications. We don’t have the responsibility to correct this problem. Also, we don’t have the capability to work out the solution too. We can only point out the issue. That’s all we can do.
As you are the supplier of Newspaper 8, it is your responsibility to work out the solution for all users, right? If not, new users may be hesitate to buy your application.
Hope you can further discuss with Yoast to work out the solution.
Thank you.
Thanks for your sharing.
Yes, our programmer found it too. If you deactivate Yoast plugin, the posts will become sharable again.
We sent an email to Yoast about this case. They haven’t replied yet.
You can send another one to them too.
Thank you.
Hi Team,
We tried but can’t find the place to put the code. Can you explain a little bit more?
Thank you.
Hi Team,
Sorry, we forgot that we are using cache. It works perfectly now.
Thank you.
Hi Catalin,
Yes, we understand the mobile theme is not designed for iPad but it is triggered when we visit our website on iPad!
Our question is how we can disable the mobile theme when someone visits our website on iPad or other tablets. You understand what we mean?
Thank you.
