So if I add content in the description as you’ve shown, it publishes that content on the author bio page. I’m asking if there is a way to update only the meta description, without adding words to the page? Also, sorry for asking on this chain, but our twitter logo is still the old one, even though the theme is up to date. Any ideas? Thanks!
Hi Bettina,
That doesn’t work. Adding a negative margin to the left side of the image only moves the image. It does not change the alignment of the text. See here for reference: https://www.loom.com/share/a41cf5c45fe44b2382c6f98be7f34540?sid=c69c4288-a183-4d03-b45b-e18008862836
As shown in the previous video, the theme has a problem. The alignment of the text within the text over image doesn’t work for mobile. Please let me know a solution?
Thanks!!
Hi Bettina,
Ok thanks. In the end the problem seems to lie with the host website security (for me and for it seems other users in other posts/blog posts). Our host, siteground, is looking into the problem, but the temporary fix was to disable the siteground security plug-in, create the form, and then activate the plug-in again. I’m writing this here in case anyone else comes across this!
Thanks!
Hi Bettina,
Sure, see here: https://www.loom.com/share/57e77f0128f04eaa990bcacb234605bf?sid=507fb56c-01af-4eb6-9fb1-1b1c7988bb62
Thank you!
Hi Bettina – you’ve answered this already. How do I delete a post here? Thanks!
Fixed! Thanks, Bettina!
Thanks, Bettina, that’s fine for the categories, but for the author bio, that adjusts the words on the page as well. Is there a way to edit the content on the page and edit the meta description, separately?
Ok thanks, Bettina
I don’t have any extra code on the site, aside from what you’ve given me. All the images are also full images. The missing space is the same for every image, and not just on this page. This happens every time I create a media & text page, for all images on mobile. Any ideas? It doesn’t seem logical to have to input CSS code every time we create a new page with media & text blocks. Thanks!
Yes I have tried the CSS mobile tab in TagDiv. The H align says center, even though the text is left justified. Within the desktop tab, if I change the same H align, the text will change based on what’s chosen. However, in the mobile tab, it doesn’t matter what I change it to, it stays as left justified.
Why do I have to create custom code for a problem with the program? I do not know how to create custom code, and it’s not right to ask me to learn to code because the TagDiv program has a glitch. Please let me know what code to input to override the glitch, or please update TagDiv to fix this problem with h align not working on mobile. 🙂 Please let me know?
Thanks Bettina!
No it’s not a tagdiv form. It’s a form within editor.
Got it, yes that worked! Is there a reason it’s needed? It doesn’t seem to make sense to have to add custom code to a pre-built block. Also, do you know how to control the image size on mobile? It defaults to the full width of the screen, which works for some posts but not all. Thanks, Bettina!
Yes it works now! The logo hasn’t updated though. The theme and all plug-ins are up-to-date. Any ideas?
It’s not a block within editor. It’s an element in Tagdiv, so there’s no available formatting options in editor. I deactivated all the plug-ins and nothing changed. It’s still left-justified on mobile only.
Thanks, Bettina but where’s the Live css box? There’s an “ADDITIONAL CSS CLASS(ES)” in the editor within the post, but that didn’t work. (I added it there and nothing changed.)
Thanks!
Hi Bettina!
No, it’s not alright. I increased the photo size so that all the text would fit, as a temporary fix. I have used TagDiv composer, I have tried centering and I have tried adjusting every single padding and margin option available. As you can see in the image you sent, the text lines are left aligned, not centered. For example, the “B” in “business” aligns directly under the “Y” in “your.” As a result, the end of “business” is very close to the edge, and not centered. Of course, I have also set the text to be centered. If you look on the desktop version, you can see the text is centered. But for some reason on the mobile version, it’s left-aligned.
Thanks!!
Best,
Megan
