Had to add b/c forgot to click the notify option
Thanks – it’s interfering with my work. And I don’t want to edit a website from the front end. I need to be able to USE the site from the front end to test the user experience – which you are blocking.
No not the bar that’s always been in WP. Just the Newspaper part with the part that says like “single post 7” and then blocks the top menu. It recently appeared.
OK. I found the issue. But how do I get rid of that awful top admin bar that blocks my menu? I can’t do any work with it blocking everything.
Thanks. It doesn’t work with header 1 (default) but it does work with some others.
Post type 6 or 7 as explained in the very first sentence in my first post. Is that not clear?
OK. Can you please provide directions for how to read 8 sentences and then look at 13 open tabs to see the screenshots? How does one follow the directions you provide because I never am able to do so. I honestly just can’t read/follow the way you write.
I give up. It’s like you go out of your way to avoid answering questions in any possible manner that could help your paying customers.
After all this I still have absolutely NO IDEA how to create a page with an image at the top and use it as a template.
Do you not see the problem here? That after all this, and 18 years publishing websites, I still can’t follow a single thing you’ve said?
Just explain in EXACT STEPS, right here, no outside links or opening 8 other tabs, how to do it. I want it all in ONE PLACE IN ORDER.
Or you can do it for me as part of your PAID support! Because at this point I’m ready to start charging you by the hour for wasting my time.
This is just for the standard widgets . Nothing in the TDC. I specified that above. Please specify exact directions.
So I tried to open a current page with TDC, but it says “Notice – not created with blah blah” I also can’t add anything above the content already there (text editor). I tried to drag an element, but it won’t work.
So then I tried to create a new page and use the TDC. I was able to add an image to the top of the page.
1) how do I then make that a page template?
2) How do I assign that template to multiple pages while leaving my content (what’s in the text editor) as the main page content.
when we work on pages, we need the usual WP interface – I need to see the SEO info and info from other plugins only available on the back end of WP. So TDC needs to be just to design templates but not for working with content, meta info, etc.
So you’re saying there is no way to create a page template? To design a page and then re-use the design?
Tutorials are useless. Unless someone can look on my computer and tell me how to move something around – and explain a row or column and how they move around on MY COMPUTER IN MY TEMPLATE – they’re useless. I’ve wasted far too many hours trying to understand your TDC – I don’t have the words to say how impossible it is to use. I’ve publishing websites since 2003 and I’ve never been able to create one page on TDC without running into issues and having to trash the whole thing. You should be able to drag and drop sections on a page in 3 seconds, like any normal program. But you’re all tied into rows and columns that make absolutely no sense to humans and you can’t move anything around.
OK. So where’s a template for a PAGE that has a banner image across the top? Exactly the same as Post #6 or #7. If I imported a template, which one? How are there no page templates with an image when you have 15+ post templates? Doesn’t anyone want an image on their About page?
This is PAID support. I expect to receive an answer to my question. Not a link to a place publicly available that I already acknowledged in my original question. Please answer my question as if you are paid support.
Hi. Please answer my question.
I’d like to create a PAGE template similar to the post template I use (DEFAULT SITE POST TEMPLATE – Either #6 or #7, that has the featured image as the page banner). I’m unable to use the TDC because it’s just too hard to use (I’ve spent like 20 hours trying to understand it and read all the tutorials. I’ve never been able to use it).
What’s the easiest way to get a page with an image banner using the featured image as a template sitewide? Thanks.
Sorry I just don’t understand this all. Technically I don’t understand. But it’s also too hard to follow without punctuation and then the screenshots and text combined into one. I keep having to read something you wrote, then try and find the right screenshot then try and go back to the text and try to follow what you’re saying and then go to the next line and read the screenshot and then go back to the text to try and follow what you are saying and then whoops i missed something or am on the wrong screenshot and i have to start all over again with no punctuation and not having a clue what you are saying. Is there any way you can put it all together so it makes more sense? Can you make it more like a tutorial so I can actually follow it?
I don’t know how this could make sense to anyone, “if you want to have some specific posts, then you can make a category and set it on mega menu and remove it”

It is already disabled.
I’m not sure which demo. The default template upon installation. The same one I’ve had 3+ years. I don’t have screenshots of the old site – I just know the font is now smaller, with less line spacing, more condensed and doesn’t read well. I can send you the old css sheet I’ve restored, with the correct font, so you can figure out on your end what you changed so I can change it back in my child theme.
Thanks that worked. It disappears once you get to the bottom (sticky sidebar) but not that important.
these are just standard NP post/page templates – no Composer was used to make them. I prefer to stay away from the composer whenever possible.
When I click on edit template it says, “Please select tagDiv Builder Template from the theme panel or set a default template. The current page/post uses a template that is not editable.”
Again, I want this to be easy, which means nothing to do with the composer as I can’t use it on my site.
OK. So it seems at the point I would not really be using the TDC, I’d be using custom CSS which I’d rather have in my custom CSS (child theme) so it’s portable to another theme (given how incompatible NP has become the last 6 months with the rest of WP). So what would the entire CSS look like if I wanted to save all the custom code to my css file?
Same on your demo – it only works sometimes.
I don’t understand how you think what you showed me in your screenshots looks like the example I sent? Do you not see the difference between a full width colored title and the colored word you sent?
like I said, your tools don’t work with the rest of wordpress
it used to be just the extra plugins but now you just keep making the theme not work with anything else except your three “approved” plugins
that’s your answer for everything. I should have known before I even asked
