DO you use some plugins? C9ould be a conflict from one. On our demo the rich snippets works fine. Please deactivate some plugins and test again http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets

Follow the steps that Christopher give you, turn off the featured image from Theme customizer -> Post settings then insert an image on posts using Add media button and link the image like you want.
