Actually, I need to be able to use all the templates :/
Again, the homepage and each page from the demo show correctly.
However, all the pages that already existed on the website prior to importing the Cali Sight template and all the pages that I create after installing the template show a different header and a different footer, as if the template settings couldn’t apply to pages that were not imported with the demo.
Just so you know: I made a test with another template, Momentum, and at least the global header and the global footer from this template are shown even for pages that were not imported with the demo.
Thanks Bettina!
Can you provide me with a link? In that topic (if I understand what you mean), the material was sent by WeTransfer, and the link is not valid anymore.
Bettina,
Indeed, I get everything from the demo when I install the whole demo.
However, when I open pages that pre-existed (this is not a new website) or new pages that I create, neither the design of the pages nor the header and footer match the demo, whereas header templates and footer templates are both supposed to be “global” according to the could template settings.
Maybe this is something that is very simple to solve, but right now, I don’t understand what’s wrong.
Can you help me go ahead with this template?
Hi Bettina,
Thank you for your reply.
The whole theme was successfully imported, except for page templates (the system status is all good). As a result, the homepage and posts are displayed correctly, with the Cali Sight style, but not the pages.
Isn’t it the same type of issue this user encountered? https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/about-cali-sight-pro-and-website-design/
I hope you can help me solve this!
Hi Team Tag Div,
For me, just like in Peter’s case, the sticky menu (floating header) doesn’t work anymore, since V 4.0 (and until V 4.0.2).
So I must keep running the V 3.9.2.
Can you solve it in the next update ? The sticky menu is very important.
Thank you !
Thank you for your explanations Yiannis and julingn ; indeed, it’s all about the child theme !
Thank you for having provided the solution gomerblog !
Hey Christoper !
Thanx for your comment ! At least I feel less “crazy”, seeing things disappearing by themselves… 🙂 I had thought about an update, but I forgot to clear the cache…
Thank you !
Ok Marius, thank you !
Happy New Year Team TagDiv, congrats for your work !
This issue doesn’t appear anymore (?!), weird…
Hello Marius,
Thanx for your answer ! Basically I used the page builder/visual composer, but not the way I should have (and now I’ve understood that I needed to use the block 3).
Now it looks like it’s ok…
Thanx for your answer, and congrats for your theme, good job !!
