I am having some trouble with the smart list 1 template. I am using vertical images and when they display the full width of the page you can only see a portion of the image. I want to set a max height for all images used in my smart list so that I can get both vertical and horizontal images to render well. What code should I be using for this?

@Catalan, I have had this same problem since I originally installed Newspaper version 4. I am now on Version 7+ with the most recent versions of WordPress, VC and all plugins (even disables all of them). And still… my instagram says ZERO. All other counters work.

What’s weird is instagram is the easiest one.

Nevermind. I fixed.

As an update, if I deactivate visual composer, I get more content loading but its still screwy. If I deactivate everything else, activate VC and clear cache, I get that same error noted above.

I am having a problem with the Instagram portion of the social counter. Everything else works, but insta is registering “0.” I am using version 3.1 of the plugin, but cannot figure out how to update. The plugin says we’re up to date. How can I update to 4.1 as mentioned above?

Ditto. I’ve tried short code, backend editor, the works. I created a new page and tried there too. I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin – no joy.

Is there a way to simply remove the gradient? We’d like to feature the image in full color.

Hi there, I am having the same issue. While looking at your screenshots above, I still cant seem to resolve it.
When I go to “PAGES” in the dashboard menu, I simply see a list of Pages… in the classic wordpress format. I do not see all those extra modules, nor do I see a sidebar with menu options (like the one you have pointed at).

I am using wordpress 4.1 and have visual editor installed. In a different section of the site I can move the “latest articles” section around on the page, but unlike other modules, I cannot delete it.

Help?

Just to clarify… I also tried deleting the original js-composer folder via FTP and installing new, as per the instructions in the sticky post. I am STILL getting the “failed: directory already exists” error

I am confused. I am trying to install the plugin for the first time. It is in the required plugin section in APPEARANCE/INSTALL PLUGINS – however when I try to install, I get an error saying the target directory already exists. I cannot delete the plugin and reinstall from here.

If I try to upload as the instructions direct, I get the same message: target directory already exists. It thinks it is there, but it wont let me install.

If I go to the theme plugin section, the plugin does not appear in either installed or activated. How do I install or update?
