Hey guys, I think the code changed up a bit. Where do I go about changing this so the Related Articles show as random?

If possible, release a version that brings you back to the previous one, such as 3.8 which worked great.

I’m currently on 4.0.2 and the following issues I am having are as followed:

1. The smooth scroll interferes with the infinite scroll making it scroll too fast that the infinite scroll wont load. The posts that are trying to load also are transparent.

2. Using Homepage – BG + No Article List (OR) With Article List, the background of the slide goes to ‘stretched’ and the blocks are a mess (shown: http://screencast.com/t/f9OpXQsG)

3. Blank Homepage – I’m noticing when using Module 7 on homepage that it shows the blank page.

I posted in the main forum but noticed that this post is all for 4.0+ bugs.

This happened to me now too. ><

*Infinite scroll has a large delay as well as showing transparent.

It’s showing I have 4.0.2 http://screencast.com/t/c6KHkNpR2l but in the theme update files its showing only to 4.0 – http://tagdiv.com/td_deploy/Newspaper/changed_files_3.9.2_4.0.html so am I missing files that I need to add or change? This is very urgent so please get back to me asap.

Hey Marius, I was asking as when you scroll down and it loads new posts on infinite scroll if that will count as a new page view or not.

I’ve read up on a whole lot of the infinite scroll archives but can’t figure it out.
I have the visual composer activated. I want to have the infinite scroll on only my homepage. Homepage + BG + Latest Articles template is enabled. The other options are as shown here http://screencast.com/t/wHJdcfbi if needed.

Where do I go about activating this?

*Also, once activated, does it track each load as a page view?

And I’m guessing changing all td_mod6 to td_mod3 would adjust it to show like this on module 3, correct?

Actually, *Sidenote: Is there a way to limit the Latest Articles on the homepage without it changing on the category page?* this is still open. Is it possible? Because whenever I change the front page to 8, the category posts are only showing 8. In Reading > Blog Pages Show at Most is set at 19.

Okay, i’ll give it a shot. And the widget ‘randoms’ are randomizing ALL old and new posts correct? I mentioned before that I only really see more recent posts than the first few…

Hey, I wanted to open this back up to see if there is any way possible to make the ‘Similar Articles’ at the bottom of a post randomize a bit more than it does. It seems to only grab the most recent ones and I want to have it randomize like it does in the widgets feature you offer. Possible? 🙂

*Also, what is the frequency of all of the other random posts? I haven’t seen many of my oldest posts in there at all 🙁

How do I slow the speed of the slider? It’s currently running very fast you can barely view/read the captions on the 4 images in the slide.
