Author Image / Author Info is Not mandatory to get Google News Approval…

Each post Must Have an Author name – That’s Available by Default in WordPress.

Avoiding Author Image & Author Info will reduce the requests to the server…

I Used an Ads Inserter Plugin to show ads in the posts.

Why I not use AMP…

1 – When Install AMP, The Site Looks is NOT Good.

I can’t Customize Theme for AMP Pages.

2 – Mobile Theme from TagDiv Also Not Having Customization Options.

3 – Ads NOT Works, even if I Follow All the Tutorials…

So, I left the Idea to Implement AMP in My Site.

Due to the Poor Looks and NON-Showing Ads in AMP,

I have a Deactivated AMP + Mobile Theme Plugin.

Then,

I Re-Designed the Home Page.

Now, Check it http://www.universalnews.org

Also, Check it through a Phone.

Thanks to the TagDiv Composer,

I can Hide the Big Element Only in Mobile.

My Home Page Wider Element Only Shows in Desktop and Tabs…

When Screen is Mobile, it will disappear.

I Mark CSS Hidden For Mobile.

That’s an amazing function.

That helped me to show a Nice Page for Mobile Phone,

Remember: I am not using AMP or Mobile Theme Plugin.

Page loads Quick in Mobile up to an extent.

I’m Partially happy now.

Sad, because still, AMP is not works 🙂

When Just Enable the AMP Plugin ( without Mobile Theme )

Then mobile Page is Crashed – So I deactivated it.

and Change Menu with that new Pages URLs…

When a Visitor Click on a Post, and Click on Breadcrumb or somewhere like that… so the real category will show up.

WP Super Cache was used When I start using WordPress.

They are Good.

But, Nowadays… I’m Working in heavy sites…

Clients are Using Premium Plugins.

I optimized the newspaper to at its best using those plugins.

But still, when clients checking the dashboard, it shows a warning.

AMP Page shows as Good Layout.

That is Because I Just Disabled Both Plugins…

When I Check Page Speed Score after Enabled Two Plugins it Got Reduced Too much.

When Disabled, it increased.

So, I Simply Disabled.

Google Adsense was another reason for page speed low score, I remove ll ads scripts…

just to check the Speed and all.

Some times Over Optimization Kills Page speed.

I have obtained 100 out of 100 in page speed.

but, when I tested Site loading time, it was 1-second delay than other site scored 96 in page speed.

we have to focus on Real Page Speed ( The Real Loading Time ) – Absolutely NOT The Page Speed Score ( Optimization ).

Keep in Mind External Files Can’t Optimized ( Adsense, analytics, FB Pixel etc… )

But, I have done this too 🙂

by hosting external files locally, and created cron job to auto update external files…

Later I understood… That just Increase page speed score, not the REAL PAGE SPEED

Majority of the People Thinks Page Speed Optimization is the Number.

I have a clarification there…

Because I am working on this from last 4 Years… ( Page Speed )

100/100 Has no Value 🙂 , trust me…

So, Over Optimizing will Impact Negatively.

When Working on Page Speed,

Most Important Thing is

1 – Page Size ( low size take less time to download ).

2 – avoid invalid requests.

3 – reduce requests.

4 – Compression

5 – Loading Time

6 – all other optimizations…

My Suggestions to TagDiv Team is Test Generatepress theme,

They are using same files ( WOFF )

but their files are size low, and Tag Div’s files are High Size.

if you only focus to reduce file size, almost all problem will be solved…

the second thing is inline js scripts…

kindly check my two reports from GT matrix… there go to waterfalls section.

and spend some time there to see the difference…

the report shows the WP Default theme ( twenty nineteen ) and Tag Div Theme.

if you want me to activate Generatepress and generate a report in gtmatrix I will do it…

all my sites, which used generate press given me better results than default theme.
