you can use the custom CSS we came up with as so: adjust as needed: – add to either your custom CSS box, or perhaps bottom of your style.css depending on how you are customizing your site.

all of my optimization sticky applies to both themes 🙂

If you have file editing enabled in WordPress then you should be able to select all and replace all in the style.css file from the editor — we have that capability disabled for security purposes, so I’ve not used that for at least 5 years or more —– so no idea ! Seems like it should work.

Benefit of replacing the original file, is you can via ftp, rename the main style.css to xstyle.css, upload your modified file; if site doesn’t work, you just rename the other file back and boom you’re back.

Doing it from the file editor may work, but generally your style.css file shouldn’t be “writable” for security purposes.

No way to fully remove the “render blocking” issue unless you custom engineer your website from scratch to load pages in “chunks” — which is virtually impossible with off the shelf product like this; so technically you will almost ALWAYS get that warning. So, the “goal” would be to address everything ELSE, and “tune” your site without any external elements being loaded, then switch back on the external stuff (e.g., adverts, etc.).

I don’t use Cloudflare, so not much help there.

The reason I don’t provide “support” anymore is I don’t work here; and every server and setup has different issues which are unrelated to how “I do it.” So, not much help for some things like CLoudflare — I stopped using our Amazon CDN for just such issues like IE randomly not loading font awesome, and Firefox just is a P.O.S. with a whole slew of java issues (e.g., our old ecom system won’t load via mod_SPDY with FIrefox, but works with every other browser known to man — forced me to turn off mod_SPDY and having to migrate our ecom to woocommerce … !). Stupid FF.

The other reason I stopped answering some questions is people would not bother to actually READ my help post and ask if their htaccess file was okay. 😉

I have not bothered putting anything in the speedbooster plugin as not a huge help with most stuff; and many plugins that I use actually have option to load JS in footer anyway, so no need to hack that into the plugin.

Upshot — I have not used the plugin beyond its default settings, since mod_pagespeed takes care of a lot of things (except the latest update which was being overloaded by a legacy site with a loop of doom with timthumb…. but woo taking care of that finally..)

blah blah. Anyway… sorry no magic answers today !

did you try looking at your “page source” to see what that might be, and if actually rendered on page ? Bad plugin? Cached element ? Adblock software blocking ad?

ON my Windows7/64 system they don’t have a file type of ‘eastobuy’ … but simply “file”

They also pass the malwarebytes anti-malware scan as not being malware files.

Sometimes resaving the permalinks can help.

Also you cannot have a post, a page, and/or sub-category with same “name” so double check that, too.

I don’t think you get all the images as they are licensed to tagdiv. Most themes on themeforest which include demo content don’t include all the images from the demo as you would need to buy license to use some of that, I believe.

Could be wrong.

You can edit view count on a per post basis from the actual post, in the custom fields boxes. If that was what you were asking about? Not sure why you’d change comment count if there are not matching number of comments on a post.

As to formatting, you’d change that in the appropriate post or template block.

To turn OFF you can do that from theme panel under post settings.

(yeah, I don’t work here … I just use the theme for our sites so usually have some “been there done that” help to share … we have nothing to do with tagdiv, just use their themes ) 😉

Probably need to use some kind of plugin for that.

We decided to just delete the comments icon on our sites. Most people who actually comment are savvy enough to know WHERE to comment, and almost mobody cares how many comments there are.

Just a thought 🙂

Tagdiv support might have better answer, of course.

Wait for tagdiv to provide help on editing the big grid module to load image at 100% width and hide overlflow. Of course if you set percentages, that might not work consistently unless all your images are same size. And 100% width wouldn’t fill both width and height ….

Installing the plugin simplest thing. It’s tiny. We use it on all our sites. Only “best solution” to your issue.

Sure you could hack that with CSS, but it’s still not going to be proportionally correct. And Google will ding you for “resizing” the image vs serving the image “at actual size” in pagespeed insights.

All the plugin does is re-enable the function that wordpress SHOULD have but they disable; which allows a new image to be written to fill the space and crop to fit.

If you downloaded the theme from a “warez” site they often have malware.

If you bought the theme from ThemeForest, and you look at the installer on your hard drive and it has a virus you may need to scan your system, but also contact ThemeForest to double check the downloads are not infected in some way “all of a sudden” — when did you download the files?

If the virus is ON YOUR DOMAIN in those folders, your site may have been hacked. You should change all passwords, and delete and reinstall your WordPress files, delete and reinstall all plugins and themes RIGHT NOW.

None of our sites running these plugins have this issue.

Make sure
a) you have featured image enabled as = Yes
b) make sure image is larger than the size for that sttle; or you need to use thumbnail upscale plugin.

This might not be answer to your issue, however.
