My content doesnt go into the template ever

If i download template its always filled with the demo data. i can not delete just the content. the button deletes the entire element. then i add a new one. and its again filled with the demo content
the smart list post has been assigned to the template..

i dont think this is so difficult to achieve.. do i miss something?

could you please tell me what excactly has to be done in order to show my own content? if its only assigning the smart list to the template and its not working then i assume its a bug?

i have made my smart list.
downloaded a “smart list template” from the cloud –> smart list template 5.
assigned my smart list to post template “smart list template 5”
BUT
i am still only seeign your demo content and not my content
am i missing something here?
