So our options include:

– Reverting to a buggy version of the theme where the Big Slider doesn’t function properly in 980px.
– Waiting for a plugin of some sort to give us this functionality back.
– A refund?

I’ve invested a lot of time into customizing this theme to work for my company. I don’t have the resources to do this again. What can we do about this?

How long until we can expect a fix? I sell the the site skin (background ad) and need the theme to be in 980px to do that.

Thank you! And if I want to give it a little padding on the right side how would I do that? Say, 5px.

Hi Lucian, by “next version,” did you mean 4.1? If so, the header ad still overlaps the logo in 980px mode.

Is there a bit of custom CSS you could offer to move move the header ad to the right?

Thanks,
Jacob

My featured images are also not centered anymore.

I had to revert my theme back to 1170px because the big slider doesn’t currently work with 980px. Here is a screenshot of the overlap.

Looking at your site and mine now, neither seem to be working.

Actually, this doesn’t work at all, it gets rid of the issue in the preview, but links don’t work with single quotes…

Aha! That did it! Thank you so much William!

I fixed this by disabling the Mailchimp plugin on substreammagazine.com

Thanks anyway!

Was there any resolution to this? I’m having the same issue on http://substreammagazine.com/

As you can see, the end of the link is getting pulled into these modules and it doesn’t seem to have anything to do with excerpts.
