Hi again,

I reverted to Newspaper 8 again, but this time I exported all my articles by category, then did the whole upgrade and imported the articles category by category, so now I finally have all my articles back.

HOWEVER, I am still having several issues:

1) The header menu doesn’t appear, Where do I add it? I get the following message:

Header Main MenuRender failed – please select a menu

2) There are several “subtitles” which I can’t find where to change them:

– DON’T MISS
– STAY CONNECTED
– MAKE IT MODERN
– LATEST REVIEWS

3) Also, instead of showing my real categories, the home page is showing what appear to be some kind of “categories” which do not really exist, and it’s placing my articles from the REAL categories randomly on those non-existent “categories”:

– LIFESTYLE NEWS
– HOUSE DESIGN
– TECH AND GADGETS
– PERFORMANCE TRAINING
– HOLIDAY RECIPES
– WRC RACING
– HEALTH AND FITNESS
– ARCHITECTURE

How do I remove them and show my REAL categories?

Hello, I’m still unable to do the upgrade:

Once I do it and chose the template from the prebuilt websites, some of my categories disappear and articles are then placed as UNCATEGORIZED:

The result has been the same after 5 times I tried (both automatic and manual update):

These categories are always copied correctly:
– Deportes (890 articles)
– Destacados (3321 articles)
– Economia (492 articles)
– Editorial (40 articles)

– Diversion (1150 articles)
– Mundo (3082 articles)
– Nacionales (3801 articles)
– Videos (4 articles)

AND, the UNCATEGORIZED category which had 0 articles on my site, now shows 4583 articles after the prebuilt website is installed. (Noticed that 8,037 articles from the Diversion, Mundo, Nacionales and Videos disappeared and only 4583 appeared now as Uncategorized)

Hello Bogdan, thank you for the support via email. I see what the problem is: there is a Social Counter installed by default on the theme which I don’t know where to edit or remove, which currently has your (Tagdiv) social counter data.

I had configured correctly the Social Counter but it wasn’t on the default sidebar widget so I never noticed that it was already correctly set. When I moved it to the default sidebar widget, it appeared with the correct data from my fan page. BUT the problem is that the default Social Counter which appears at the top of the sidebar is still there, with tagdiv’s data. Where do I remove it?

Hello Bogdan, I have updated the theme. The error message has disappeared, but the SocialCounter says there are 0 fans on Facebook instead of the 1019 fans that there currently are. What should I do now?

Hello, I was able to get the access token, thank you. HOWEVER, afterwards I got the following error on the homepage:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method td_block_social_counter::get_block_css() in /home/ahoracom/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-social-counter/shortcode/td_block_social_counter.php on line 52

I had to deactivate it while I wait for your reply. After deactivating it this appears on the homepage where the social counter should appear:

[td_block_social_counter custom_title=”MANTENTE CONECTADO” facebook=”tagDiv”]

Hello Bogdan, thank you for your reply. I disabled and deleted the plugin, then I reinstalled it from the theme panel as you suggested. However, I’m still unable to get the access token (I only get a red “please wait” message). ALSO, since it failed, I checked the newly installed Social Counter plugin version, and it’s the same I had: 3.1 instead of 4.1!!!

Hello, how do I upgrade the SocialCounter plugin? My WP site doesn’t say there is an update so I thought I had the latest version but I have version 3.1 and it says here that the latest version is 4.1…

Hello, I’m having the same problem. Already cleared cache and cookies, tried with 2 different browsers and 2 different computers, even tried with incognito in Chrome but I only get the PLEASE WAIT message in red and nothing happens.

Hello Bogdan, thanks a lot for your reply. I followed your instructions to create my 3 ads with Visual Composer (see: http://content.screencast.com/users/svsanchez/folders/Default/media/27806244-1532-4580-9eaf-cd54891465c4/link-ads2.jpg), but I’m stuck:

1. The preview doesn’t work (is the Visual Composer activated when we buy NewsPaper 6 or do we have to pay extra for it?)
2. I clicked the publish button but now I don’t know how to place that grid in my entries pages?
