This user did not write anything. So we are just showing here some random text to make the profile page look nice :)

As mentioned above it doesn’t allow me to click and type anything into the blue highlighted areas.

Also, what would be your recommended image size? I don’t want the featured image to be so high. And how to change all the featured images to the same size across the entire site?

Thanks.

For some reason, the CSS with data in is highlighted in blue and doesn’t allow me to select and change it. Check here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/gfARXueg274N2YD56d

I give up! The gap keeps changing depending on the screen size. Tried 103%, 100%, 95% and 93%. Surely there is css to simply make the featured image fit all the way to the left? Do you have a recommended image size with a height which is much less than it is now? So I can implement this across all the posts.

Ok just did all that and nothing has changed. I only want the featured image to go all the way to the left, not the content.

It’s just when I implement this element the image depending on the post looks all fuzzy and the height is way too high. I used the following post as a test so you can see:

https://www.cruisehive.com/cruise-tips-from-insiders-you-should-definitely-take-note-of/9435

I’ve tried changing the image dimensions but just looks odd. Maybe there is another css code to make the image extend to the left of the page? That code is from your Single Post Template 36. Would also like all featured images across all posts to be the same dimension but don’t want a height more than 550 as the content will be too far down.

Any help would be great, cheers.

Thanks for sending in that request to the dev team.

The only way for now would be to use the “featured image” element instead of “bg featured image” element. What would be the recommended size after using the following CSS code:

calc(((-100vw + 100%) / 3))

Could you help me get the correct image size for it?

Hey Simion,

By request meaning, you could add a way to do it just this time? The big background featured image is so much better apart from not having the caption because it always helps stop people stealing my images.

I could choose the regular featured image instead but would need help sorting out the exact image size needed. The images are all different, look mushy and way too high on every post when I have the regularly featured image activated.

Cheers

Not even something like this?
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/featured-image-show-caption/

We have to find a way to display the copyright details of images.

Have you tried publishing a new post?

Everyone is having a problem with this plugin who have updated to WordPress 4.9.8 The plugin needs to be made compatible. Same issue here with the TD Composer theme.

This is for article and post 301 redirects. I’m requesting support for the login/Logout feature on the Newspaper theme which should go to a logged in users bbpress profile page. This has nothing to do with menus and posts like in the article you suggested.

As mentioned this happens for regular users who have registered on the site, they are not authors. I use bbpress on the site which is supported by the Newspaper theme so we just need to redirect that link to the logged in users bbpress profile page. How to do this?

Thanks.

All good now, Thanks very much.

Thanks Simion works fine, just wondering is there a way to display the cation on the top right instead of the top left?

Thakksy

I did the entire cache again and worked. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the support, I deleted the css code emptied the cache and changed to “Block Header 6′ just like the rest of the site but it still isn’t displaying correctly.

I also have this issue after updating

This is wrong, TagDiv shouldn’t have to make this a required plugin when we can simply use other plugins like Visual Composer which works fine. How is it required? The theme is fine without it. Sorry, don’t mean to be a pain but I’m surprised about this. Will I have to deactivate and uninstall everytime I update?

I did all this and actually got WP Rocket support to look into it but nothing on their end. Maybe you could investigate further? The issue is only with Visual Composer now and using the “text block” WYSIWYG.

Thanks so much, works perfectly and looks great.

Most elements have a container I just thought you guys would be able to give some css to overlap the parent container. Anyway, I have worked out how to get the main search area full width like in the image below but for some reason, the search bar doesn’t display correctly.

https://goo.gl/photos/zGawwWXTUJwvGvGc9

I used the following css:

#bbpress-forums {
background: transparent;
clear: both;
margin-bottom: 20px;
overflow: visible;
font-size: 12px;
}
#bbpress-forums div.bbp-search-form {
float: right;
background-color: #f5f5f5;
margin-right: -3000px;
margin-left: -3000px;
padding-right: 3000px;
padding-left: 3000px;
}

Ok thanks, WP Rocket is paid for so will have to find another solution, thanks anyway.

I already did that, that is easy to do by just changing the settings. Maybe I didn’t explain so well.

I mentioned the CSS to make the search area the full-width of the browser/page just like what you have on this tagdiv forum. You can see the gray area all the way to the edges. I know it is with css but what is the css to do this?

You can see at my site https://www.cruisehive.com/forums

Thanks so much.

Very strange,

I actually disabled the cache and cleared it for the forums and still the changes don;t do anything. Maybe the setup for bbpress with this theme is different? I just add the [bbp-forum-index] in the forums page right?
