I’m having the same issue and it’s bothersome and messes up the flow of the site. There needs to be a way to turn this off. If I delete the element on the category page that does not have a subcategory, it deletes it from every page I have the category sibling element added. It’s a bit non-intuitive to have non-replated categories listed on unrelated category pages.

Where can we add CSS to turn this off? I’ve looked in every custom or advanced CSS area and it will affect the whole site vs where I need it (on specific pages).

Thank you.

There seems to be an additional issue regarding our mobile templates when constructing them in the TagDiv composer. When creating a new blank mobile template the “copy content” button doesn’t work and text elements are not editable even after deleting and replacing them with new elements. We also cannot edit imported cloud templates. All site plugins are disabled besides Woocommerce and TagDiv itself.

Also, how do I turn off related products from showing on the product page? I don’t want this showing because I have only one product and it’s repeating below the information on the product page and it’s confusing. I placed the below code in Additional CSS, but it didn’t work. It’s still displaying. I’m thinking this has to do with your shop plugin.

.related.products {
display: none;
}

Thank you!

I found a template to move on to and not spend more time on this. Thank you.

I’m still not able to get the text to overlay on the image. When I import the titles, category description, breadcrumbs, tags, they will not overlay on the image. I can only place them over or below the image.

When you open your category after adding the category image in the panel (via your link), the title, tags and breadcrumbs are already overlaying the image and you’re able to drag the description over. I don’t have any of that and am not able to drag anything over onto the image. It only goes above or below the image in a new category box.

Is there a setting that needs to be turned on that I’m missing? I’ve literally spent days on this trying to figure it out.

And P.S. I deactivated every one of my plugins to see what was causing the store error. The error was still present with only tagdiv plugins active, so it has to be something with your site. There are several strings regarding this error, but everything I’ve tried fails for my site. The error is still present.

So are we not able to use other plugins with this theme? It seems every plugin that I add to expand upon the functionality of my site that I need, the theme has some sort of functionality error and you’re coming back with it being a plugin error. I had to turn my events plugin off to edit the mobile through Tagdiv, and doing so ended up deleting all of my content within the plugin. If we have to disable plugins every time we edit, then this is going to cause a huge functionality problem with the site ongoing. This is a magazine that will have a ton of content. My calendar is a large feature of my site with frontend submission from my users. I can’t recreate this content every time I have to disable a plugin to edit something because tagdiv breaks. I also had an issue with the simple avatar plugin because I don’t want to send my authors to gravatar, but had to because the plugin caused a break in tagdiv functionality. Now there is the error related to the store and I have no idea which plugin would be causing this. What are the options for plugins that actually function with your platform? Do you have a list since everything I’ve used seems to break it? This should really be included in the pre-purchase documentation for people to consider before we purchase and put a ton of work into developing this and every plugin breaks tagdiv. Again, do you have a list of plugins that don’t break tagdiv functionality?

Yes, I’ve gone through all of this and tried every single block that is in tagdiv and I’m not able to recreate specifically what you have in your demo 12 fashion category page. You do not have a template like this in the template cloud. I would like to know exactly what blocks you are using. No combination that I try has the text overlaying the image for the category header. I chose to have the full content downloaded with my template, but it did not happen so I’m trying to recreate the parts that I really wanted the template for. I specifically want this layout for the category header: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/category/tagdiv-fashion/

Since there is no template like this in the template cloud, what blocks were used in tagdiv to create this? Thank you!

And I’m also receiving this error from my author box:

Warning: Attempt to read property “query_var” on bool in /home/customer/www/livelovelocalmi.com/public_html/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 4589

I’ve added a plugin to place the avatars directly vs using the external site. I don’t want the external site for my avatars. I’ve disabled comments on my page so I do not need this external service.

Thank you!

When you check this would you please also check the header logo. I have changed it in template panel, but it’s glitching when I go to preview. the logo shows for a split second and then it’s reverting back to the newspaper logo. Thank you!

Okay, thank you. I will do that. Also, as part of this, we connected stripe to the woocommerce payment and it keeps breaking the connection. We have done it several times and the connection keeps breaking and looping us. I’m thinking it has to do with this error. We had it connected and it was working fine until this error happened.

Thank you.

Okay. This is a lot to digest. I will work through this to grasp a better understanding and reach back out with any clarifying questions. Thank you!

Hi there. They have been in touch and things are working well now. It was a plugin that I installed that was causing the issue. Thank you!

We are also not able to edit Posts in tagDiv. The icon is missing on the post pages to enter tagdiv composer. I hope someone can help me with this. I don’t want to try to reinstall yet again and lose all the work that I’ve already done.

Thank you. I will email you the credentials. I am having a lot of issues with this editor. I have spent the day adding my content without deleting any of the demo content and trying to design pages in the editor. It’s not going well. I’m not able to edit the elements after I add them to my page, the block becomes unclickable. When I make changes to font sizes and colors, it’s not taking. Nothing that I change is happening in real time. I have to save and them preview to see any changes. I’m not sure what is happening, but based on tutorials and documentation, this should be much more intuitive. I will email you the credentials. Thank you.

It is 4am here. I’ve spent the past several hours trying to get this to work and installing and reinstalling it. There is clearly something wrong with my zip files (I’ve downloaded three different ones trying to get this to work and I’m getting the same result). Not only does the layout not match the demo, I am only able to access category pages through breadcrumbs and every layout is exactly the same. What other suggestions for remedying this do you have? Building this site from scratch is not my goal.

I will check for a reply in the morning. Thank you.

Hi. The information you provided isn’t really helpful. Nothing in the category templates actually match the default pro demo template, so I’m a bit confused. It’s easy enough to figure out how to edit a template, but designing it from scratch on an unfamiliar platform is a whole other story.

Everything is showing default pro, but the only way I can get to the category pages is through the breadcrumbs, and then the category page does not match the actual template demo they are all exactly the same, same layout, etc. Nothing like the demo. Then in the category templates library, none of the templates match the demo pages either. I really want the demo pages, it’s why I chose this platform.

Why doesn’t the template content match the demo content? Do I have an out-of-date template file?

Thank you for the guidance. I will go through these tutorials and will respond back if I’m unable to remedy it. Thank you for such a prompt response.
