holy sh**! You’re actually correct!
I disabled the mega-menu from my site, and the sharing seems to be working back again! Thank you so much!!
Short-term fix this may be, but at least something is better than nothing. Always knew there was some issue in the theme itself. Hope the developers can fix it soon enough.
I understand that, but this doesn’t explain why Google starts picking it up correctly as soon as I shift to a different theme. But as soon as I revert to Newspaper, it goes back to being buggy.
I tried sharing using share plugins, even manually pasting the URL (pressing space and all) but the end result is the same, it simply doesn’t work.
Which is why I re-iterate that there’s something else at play here.
That is why I am perplexed. I agree 100% on what you said. But my tags are all in place, images are big enough to be picked up. Why then does the issue persist?
This also doesn’t explain why the bot seems to completely ignore the meta-description.

The Theme Panel menu has a separate space where you can insert your Google Analytics Tracking info, you don’t need a separate plugin for it.
Thanks for the code Lucian, unfortunately I have different header colors set for my block – they arent one single color. How do I go about it then?
Have a look – http://www.droidgoblin.com
Hey Lucian,
How can I have the Default Title Style (in block and widgets) extend across the entire block instead of being limited to the word length?
@Lucian, the show author thing isn’t working yet. I think it is because you still have the line commented out in single-template.php files. I manually removed it though 😛
Play around by adding different logos to the Retina section. For example – assign on logo for 1x and a completely different logo to 2x (retina). Then view your site on mobile, and see which logo appears. You can then know what to put where.
Theme Panel –> Post Settings ….then scroll all the way down 🙂
When you add the BIG Slider component from Visual Composer, an options window opens which has everything you need. You can choose what categories, tags etc you want to show posts from. Then you can configure display parameters and so on.
Have a look, I think you missed it.
Works very well for me. It could be that you have some jquery conflict with one of your plugins.
To test, disable all your plugins first. Then make some change in Theme Panel and try to save. If it saves properly then you know you have a plugin conflict.
Block 10 is missing from widgets. Maybe they just forgot to add it there as well.
As for Visual Composer, uninstall your current copy and then upload the latest version from Newspaper –> includes –>js_composer.zip
Block 10 and all the other additions will then be visible.

Nope, disabling Rocket Loader and JS minify in cloudflare solves it 🙂
Works fine for me – http://www.droidgobl.in/2014/08/09/review-nuggets-icon-pack-by-mindplay-media/
If you’re using Cloudfare, make sure to disable Rocket loader and JS minify.
@Lucian,the theme is ignoring any size you set in the ad code, even if you select Smart sizing in Adsense Panel.
How I worked around this issue is by specifying the ad sizes for different viewports in the option that the theme gives.
For example, if I am using a leaderboard ad, I paste the code. Then instead of keeping resizing at auto, I set 728×90 for desktop, 320×50 for mobile and so on and so forth. That works perfectly.
In Theme Panel – Header section, upload a logo image with smaller dimensions than what you have at present for Logo (Retina). That will solve all your issues 🙂
My site is getting 10-15k visits everyday, and is pretty stable using the theme.
Hope this helps!
@Lucian, there’s also this issue of the original css loading first (fonts and colors) and then the custom css. Makes for a bad user experience in my opinion.
Yup, had done that. Both rocket loader and js minify have to be turned off.
Same problem for me. Disabled all plugin, cleared caches everywhere and the menu is still not sticky.
ugh! same issue. I moved Block 1 to sidebar, and it is not showing any posts when set for a particular category. Could you please advise what is going wrong?
Have already emailed login info via Themeforest Contact form..
never mind, i changed my layout.
Same result with Block 2 as well. Any updates on this?
did everything mate…trust me I’ve been using WordPress long enough now 🙂
did all that..which is why i mention that though the Page Title font changes, the page content font remains the same..
