All the parameters are OK and the composer is still not working.

Thanks

What means “our page builder is a required plugin”?

Must I have it activated? Because now I have it disabled and everything is fine.

I prefer Visual Composer because it allows to choose the weigh of the image and its a feature that I need in all my sites and I didn’t find it in your TD composer.

NEW INFO!

I have disabled the new plugin tagDiv composer (wich installed when I updated to v8) and now I see all like before.

So, how can I use the new utility as this new composer without problems?

Thank you very much!

I keep trying things in order to have more info to tell you and solve this issue faster.

I have tried to add an image without using Backend Editor, just adding an object trough wordpress editor and it’s working all fine.

All of this start happens when I updated from 7.8 to 8 version, and it happened to all my sites (I use Newspaper in all of them), so must be something wrong with that we can fix, because obviously is the same problem and due to the upgrading to v8.

Visual composer, WordPress, and all other plugins are up to date also.

I tried to go back to version 7.8 (tried in one of the 3 webs) but I see this, it seems it’s now 7.8v but I still see the logo of version 8 and the same problem still happens. No links working, no customizable size of images, etc.

This is at http://www.rozyo.com

Must be something very wrong, because these images are linked to one page (everyone has his own personal page) and when clicking (try it) the image linked it move the mouse to the top of the page.

I checked the links and are ok. I have tried to delete the images and add new ones and happened the same.

It happens to me to my 3 webs I have updated to Newspaper8.

Hi,

No, I’m using different layouts (it happens to me to some websites in different pages with different layouts).

I add an image who show you one of these layouts.

Anyway, if I use a layout 1/1 and choose image 100×100 for example, it must shows 100×100, because if I use different layouts it will be the size of the 1/3 like you mean and I have been always since I’m using Newspaper to choose the size. It’s one of the features of the object image when you add it, but anyway this is not for sure the problem as I showed you.

In other website if I choose layout 1/2+1/2 for example the image appeared cutted as this size. I will try to explain with an example. Imagine an image 2000×2000, I select for example 300×300 as I need, then the image is showed as the size of 1/2 of the page, but cutted, not reduced to this size, just cut and show a part of this 2000×2000. Do you understand what I mean? The big problem here is after upgrade to Newspaper8 I’m not able anymore to choose any size of the images and see al of them huge and cutted.

I hope this info help you to understand the problem.

Here is the example of 1/4 of https://www.mallorcaglam.com/quienes-somos

Example

utzgurx
tagDiv Member

I can select the height, but the width is full screen, even if I select for example 100×100 it shows full widht. I have to use TadDivComposer (blue second button on the top of editing pages) to change the height, because using visual composer al always there is no way to change it, simply it doesn’t work.

Thanks

All images except the post images.

Look at https://www.mallorcaglam.com/quienes-somos and you will see.

Also, you can check another website https://www.gerardx.com and see the same problem.

And now I realized that the images that have a link to a URL, this link is not working, when clicking the image it send me to the top of the actual page where the image is.

Edit: and images without any link do the same, they send me to the top of the page. I hope this info is helpfull.

Thanks a lot.

Sorry, I made a mistake and check from computer. Still working from computer as with the other theme.

But in mobile version I don’t even can’t see the main page (with the 8 categories). I only see plain text.

What’s the next step?

Thanks

hello! It work, I can see every image correctly.

What I have to do now to solve it then?

Thanks

utzgurx

I don’t mean this 8 images which are the categories. I mean when you click this images opens a new 8 pages with 15 to 30 images each and these are the images missing, but only in the mobile version. I can see them in the computer.

Thanks. I found it! But I tried to change the image to a new one and nothing changes, and then I tried to remove and leave it without image and still the same when refreshing the mobile web.

I also tried using private navigation to ensure that is not problem of cache or cookies.

Thanks

I don’t have this option in my panel.

The last one is Misc > Import/Export

I can’t see Plugins Settings > Mobile Theme

Thanks

All done but CDN (I don’t know what it is, so I never installed it… or how can I check it?)

The website is http://www.mallorcaglam.com

It only happens in posts, and the strange symbol button is working fine bringin me to the up side of the post.

Thank you very much Catalin!

My first step when installed this plugin in my site was configure it as the link you pasted me.

But the problem persisted, that’s why I contacted you.

What can I do? Thanks

As additional info hoping it helps you to know more about the problem:

When I make any change using Theme Panel editor AND I go to WP Super Cache Settings and delete the cache (clicking the specific button) and I load the site (even in the same browser in a new tab) it works fine and I see the changes.

Well, I think I understood this.

First part is with a new browser window logged out and second one is in a browser logged in. As I understand the timestamps don’t match, then this is the problem. But, how can I fix it? I paste all the info. Thanks!

I think the problem is related with cache.

I have this error when I test the cache using cache tester:

One or more page requests failed:

Page 1: 401 (Unauthorized)
Page 2: 401 (Unauthorized)
The pages do not match! Timestamps differ or were not found!

Things you can do:

1. Load your homepage in a logged out browser, check the timestamp at the end of the html source. Load the page again and compare the timestamp. Caching is working if the timestamps match.
2. Enable logging on the Debug page here. That should help you track down the problem.
You should check Page 1 and Page 2 above for errors.
3. Your local server configuration may not allow your website to access itself.

I don’t know how to proceed. How can I check the timestamp at the end of the html source? What does it mean? I see a number next to the time at the logging file .txt and when I refresh the site I see the same number, but I’m not sure if this number is the timestamp or not.

Thanks for your help.

Ok, I will talk to my host to php.ini issue, but now the main important thing for me is wp-config.php because I have 2 websites with the same error using Newspaper with Visual Composer and there is no way to change it.

I checked the system status in the theme panel (as I told you before after changing it) and nothing has changed after I added the line you told me.

Thanks

And now I’m using Filezilla and searching php.ini using the Fz searcher and it says there isn’t any file called php.ini in my site.

utzgurx

I have done like I showed you and nothing happened. Same warning.

I tried also to add it in different places, always around the bottom of the document but never see any change in my Theme Panel warnings recommending me 64 instead of 40.

First I’m trying to edit wp-config.php. Is this the correct place where I added the new memory limit line? Or must be in a different place? I’m not a programmer, so I’m trying to do my best. Sorry about being so newbie.

Thanks
