ok, here is something strange i noticed: after installing the VC plugin (from a fresh download of your theme) it told me it was on 4.3.5, after clearing the cache it now says it’s 4.3.4 again. what could be wrong here?

right, have updated the VC plugin: the search still does not work.

all other issues are not important (i will simply not use revolution slider, the ie11 problems only come up on our work machines, so i will ignore them).

the search however would be very important to work out. any other suggestions?

thanks!

thanks for the great support! will try all that on monday cos i’m not at the office right now. i think i have already updated the VC plugin using the method described above, but will try again on monday.

this is my first installation on this webspace so i have not tried the plugin on the host before.

thanks a lot, like the theme very much so far and look forward to ironing out the last few hiccups 😉

another problem which also comes up in chrome is that the search function (from the main menu) does not work. i get no results even for words that appear in post titles. what can be the reason for this? can i turn off/disable search totally if there is no fix for this?

thanks!

ok, i will try out the ie11 issues from outside my company, might have something to do with sites on our domain wuerth.at being only displayed in safe mode when accessed from the company network. i will run a few tests from the outside.

regarding the revolution slider problem: i have updated the theme as you said, when trying to activate revolution slider still get this error message (here in full):

ok, just got the answer from the rev slider developers who told me to get back to you. walking in circles now…. is the slider really needed for the theme to work properly?

thanks

the tagdiv gallery also does not work properly on ie11: http://news.wuerth.at/impressionen-von-der-autozum-2015/

works fine on chrome but is pretty messed up on ie11: main image is not centered, thumbs stacked above each other instead of horizontally.

i have contacted the plugin support and am waiting for their answer, however it seems they don’t support installations that come with themes.

the sql-database thing does not help me i am afraid since i am no specialist, sorry…..

there are also some other issues i have noticed in ie11:

– social media buttons in the articles are not displayed properly, just colored squares
– footer menu items are stacked on top of each other instead of being horizontally lined up

thanks

Hi,

deactivated all other plugins: again got this message:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Revolution Slider Error:no update action taken! Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Exception’ with message ‘no update action taken!’
