I bought Newspaper8 thinking it would be easy for me to just change the content using the demo “with content”. It is far from easy. I tried doing it myself using no content but I’m obviously lacking in skills. The only wordpress site I have ever used had the free DYAD theme.
I’ve looked up tutorials and they are not helping either. Where do I start please? I would like to use the SAY WHAT template and would prefer to just change content rather than build the whole thing from scratch but I don’t understand how.

You will have to create a starting point to personalize the website. For example from the top and work your way down.

Make the changes you want in the header and then the homepage is next. Opening the homepage with the tagDiv composer will allow you to add/remove elements, modify block titles, block filtering system, post sorting etc
