Hi!
I updated to 11.3 but my website looks like it has problems. I uninstalled and reinstalled tagdiv composer and tagdiv cloud library plugs, but that did not help.
My main logo is missing, and there is HTML code where there should be material on the home page.
I took a backup before installing 11.3 and but it’s saying the backup may be corrupt as the file sizes are different than expected. So I cannot put the backup back in and I really need your help to make some corrections on this new 11.3 version.
My website is peachleafstreet.com
Many thanks
Edit: I’ve managed to roll back the theme to 11.2 but unfortunately this still hasn’t solved my problems. I’ve also figured out that the files in the back up which say ‘corrupted’ are only in the ‘uploads’ section. I don’t know if that means anything! I have restored the sections of ‘plugins,’ ‘themes’ and ‘others’
My main concerns:
– The home page logo is missing
– ‘Latest posts’ is loading the ENTIRE blog posts, slowing down the whole home page. It used to have a partial paragraph and then say ‘read more’. I can’t find anywhere to edit this. I click on it in the edit with TagDiv composer screen but it’s not clickable (this is in the lower half of my home page where it says ‘latest posts’).
– An entire section devoted to parties is missing on the home page. In its place is some HTML jargon
Thanks again

i’m experiencing the same troubles, missing logo, missing blocks, it’s all messed up, tried to use time machine with no luck. Unistalled and reinstalled plugins but nothing changed.
I thought I was the only one. Have the same issue, Update gave me a critical error (error 500), disabled plugins, restored backup both from server and from WPMUDEV but nothing worked.
Deleted everything and manually started replacing every file with my backup and everything went back to normal. Made the mistake of trying to update the theme again and the same thing happened.
I do not know what is the issue with the update, but I updated every plugin with no issues except the theme. So I am letting it be for now until a fix comes through.
definitely there is something wrong with the update, in theme settings logo is still there, tried to save but nothing happens, a big text logo instead. This is very annoying, it was all perfect and working fine before this update.
It was the Standard Pack plug missing for me, now it works fine
Hello,
@petitefilms and @Pesareiran
Please check what elements you are using, as they may be from tagDiv Standard Pack, for example, header/footer style from Theme Panel => https://i.imgur.com/cQUf58B.png -> https://i.imgur.com/6tk9Sh0.png or Block 1-25, Big grid, brig grid full, and if the plugin is deactivated the blocks will become shortcodes and the style will change.
So, please make sure you have the tagDiv Standard pack updated and activated, the tagDiv Standard pack “is a legacy plugin, that comes with functionality for previous versions of the Newspaper theme, older than version 10. For fast, highly customizable, and lightweight websites, we encourage you not to activate and install this plugin” -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
Thank you!
Thank you @pesareiran & Anamaria. The Standard pack sorted my issues. I am concerned when you say “we encourage you not to activate and install this plugin”. Are you saying my site will be slow and heavy?? But if I don’t use the plugin then my site isn’t working. What do you suggest?
Hi,
What I can suggest is to use Cloud Templates from tagDiv Cloud Library for posts/categories/header/footer,etc and Flex Blocks and Big Grid Flex, instead Block 1-25, Big Grid Full, elements from tagDiv Standard Pack.
Also, on our channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOT1RiNysIPCTPSnVZskwtQ, you can find more videos that can help you and documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/ and you can ask us here on the forum if you have any questions.
Thank you!
