Listings/CPT/Post Submission: Limiting and billing

I’m interested in exploring the Listings functionality. Is there some documentation on this? Specifically on how to charge users to post the CPTs, and to set them to expire after a certain amount of time?

That’s nice and all, but isn’t the point of a Listing website supposed to be ability to charge the users for the listings?

From what I can see, there’s no way to charge the users to post their listings, and there’s no way to set them expire if they don’t pay again…

Thank you for bringing that up. Didn’t know about it since I’m hesitant to use the listing feature and you are right, without those options it won’t make sense at all.

I just wish there would be more clarity of what the CPT integration actually should do. Instead of a real documentation on how to start something from scratch, we only get referred to three links and one link to user reviews.

From what I’ve ascertained by experimenting with it, the biggest new feature is that you can use Tagdiv Composer to edit CPT templates and filters for the CPT.

Usually, if you’re going to allow listings to be posted by other users on your site, you’re going to charge money for it…. I don’t see that they’ve included such a feature, but I certainly could be missing something…

Hello,

Maybe, indeed, this feature is not mentioned somewhere, but you can make a submiosion post only based on an active subscription plan.
You can set to post a post free, and the rest should be on the money.
These settings can be found on the Posts Form Submit where you can set a limit on how many posts you can add -> https://i.imgur.com/zFMEpj8.png

Thank you!

Right, but that means (unless I am misunderstanding it) that they pay once for a subscription, and then the post gets to stay on the site forever…. That wouldn’t work for something such as a business directory, for example…

Hi,

Indeed that was the plan. If you pay to publish an article, it should stay on the website. After the plan expires, you can remove that post.

Thank you!
