Our website also doesn’t show the copyright, no matter what we tried, including your suggestion above. And when we edit the Footer page in Theme Panel>Footer, the copyright is displayed, but only not on website. Am I missing anything? Thanks!

The sub footer from theme panel will work only using a default footer template. In order to show the copyright on Fast News demo you need to edit the footer page with tagDiv Composer and set the copyright at the bottom of page, or you can set a default footer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Z6UOAvWyw
The second menu can be change using tagDiv Composer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/SoOUnjhMr edit the home page and click on that menu.

I installed Newspaper 9 and I am testing it. For the moment I have found an error. Subfooter options do not work. I have tried to change the “footer copyritght text” and the site does not respond to the changes. Neither the field “copyright symbol” and “show sub-footer”. I hope some help. Thank you…

I want to know why some post from my site is appearing after footer in mobile theme. I think the page should stop there after copyright notice. But it’s showing some article and ads as well.

Thank you. It works but I need to change the site link colour on https://www.arbutusmc.com/ as the system uses yellow (Theme accent colour) too. You can see copyright symbol with year white and when you hover you see site link in black but you don’t see site link in white.

Thank you so much it worked but I have similar “colour” problems with sub-footer now.
For Footer Copyright text ##year## ##sitename## I need the white link and black hover for https://www.arbutusmc.com/ and yellow (#e5ad25) the link and white hover for https://www.dringrid.ca/.

I posted this in the comment section of the theme on themeforest but no one answered me. Hoping for more success here. Ever since I updated the template 2 days ago, I have these “wp_booster error” messages in certain places in my site and now the footer copyright portion is missing!
These two errors are present directly beneath the author box within every post:
wp_booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: tdc_state is not set.

Missing parameter: ‘file’
These three errors are present within the footer block:

Yeah but there is no option the remove About and Contact link if you look at the sub footer on my website you will see beside copyright there is about and contact link just want to remove them or change the their nam

For example, i change the copyright text at the footer from 2018 to 2019, the thing will be rolling and no response will come, i mean that correct mark ✅ sign
Also this morning i want to place a code in the head section, after clicking the save settings the thing will be rolling and nothing will happen

I have some issues i hope you can help.
1.How do I remove author name from posts on the front page and category pages?
2.Show sidebar on frontpage – I have tried with widget sidebar but it don’t work.
If I don’t use TAGdiv composer then the sidebar is displayed. Why is that?
3.how do i put copyright on pictures. A small text under a post image on the post page?
4.how do i make the height of the sidebar thumbnail shorter. I can’t figure out the CSS.
5.If I click on a post from the front page, the picture will appear too small on the post page.
If I deriomd open the same post from the front in a new window, it will appear normal.
Why is that? and is there a fix?

The sub footer copyright text wraps. It should be a single line of text. Take a look at the bottom of the site.

fyi, we have been using a WP plugin over here called “FeedWordPress” which works very well. We use that with ‘Auto Post Thumbnail PRO’ to bring in a featured image from the first image in a news post.
Note that pulling in news from other sites is typically not good idea unless the site is allowed to do so. Meaning, pulling in news from LA Times would violate their copyright.
However, some ‘newswire’ services allow pulling in news for non-commercial purposes — meaning, you can’t use it to help sell MLM, socks, affiliate program junk sites, etc.

In Newspaper 9 I can edit the subfooter but it only allows me to edit the copyright sentence that’s on the left side, however I also want the far right section to be edited which includes contact us, privacy.. etc I wanna attatch those pages to their appropriate page, if that makes sense.

What exactly do you want to do with the sub-footer? Post a link to the website and details about it. Maybe it is possible.

All you need to do is to go in Newspaper>Theme panel>Footer>Sub footer settings go in field of copyright text set a <br> and add the dmac gadge code
