It is not a good idea to remove that function from td_module_single_base.php because you will bring some errors in Web Master Tools and it is not good. Please try to comment our the get_date() function from each loop-single.php according to your post template used by you. For example, if you are using the Port Template Style 1 you should edit the loop-single-1.php and comment the following snippet of the code, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/LdwGuuGW1vul

Regarding on the color of the image, please notice that if you want to have a white image instead of black, you should try to load another image which it structure is white by default. For example, you can try to use the Font Awesome.

I want to add some light separation lines between posts on the front page of Radass.com. Similar to how Thechive.com does it. We are currently using block 5. I went through all the documentation and block examples but can’t find that option.
Theme adds no ‘harmful’ code; but obviously if you did, that would be the cause.
You can do “view source” on your post/pages to see if that content still there anyplace; clear any caching you’re using; clear transients with wp-optimize wouldn’t hurt either.
I think you can also scan your site from your Google Search Console (webmaster tools) to see what examples/pages they’re talking about, if memory serves (not sure on that).
Well, two things
a) you could buy plugin and use with theme, if not using a feature conflicting with latest version of theme
b) just because a new plugin version is “available” does not mean it’s for security purposes, or that it will even work right
You need to learn to
1) view ‘changelog’ for new plugin to see WHAT actually changed; and if it’s even relevant to your use case
2) check plugin support forum to see if known issue or security flaw actually introduced with new version that was not there before (this HAS happened!)
Don’t presume that a “new version” must be installed “right now” — as it may not be necessary or even safe to do so. Similarly automatic updates are generally not good for WP as things break and best to keep track of what changes actually get made and how they interact with other things (e.g., full dot versions of YOAST SEO traditionally have bugs and best to wait for second dot revision, as one example).

Unfortunately, our theme has not been tested with this type of plugin and we have no idea about the theme behaviour with this type of plugin and also, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not with the theme, sorry! If you want to insert this shortcode inside your Footer, you can try to use another Footer template, like style 5 which can be customised as you wish. Using this, you can add to the Footer 1,2,3 what code you want to customize your footer. You can try to add a Text Block to the Footer 1, for example, and inside it, you can place the shortcode from MailChimp and check the results.

Unfortunately there is no setting for this and it is no easy thing to do. The dimensions for where the hamburger menu appears are hard-coded in and you have to change all the instances of the css to target a different viewport. Lots of things have to be changed and adjusted for this to be possible. Here is an example so you know what I mean. If I look for the screen size where the current hamburger menu kicks in (767 px) there will be 708 matches for this search: http://screencast.com/t/vp5WasGwEPPH
You could try a search and replace to replace all of the css at once but you still need to be careful what you change.

Please keep in mind that you want to change the structure of the date for modules, you will have to edit the corresponding files according to your block used by you.
