Hi,
I cant get Post Template 3 and 4 to show the featured image as in the examples on the website. I cant remember if this ever worked as I didnt use these templates but they dont show up. Is there anything we can do to fix that?

We love the theme (newspaper).
Only got 2 issues so far:
1. http://baws.se/ (utf8 characters – error… as you can see, also on mobile end, even though I’ve followed the steps you should with the .htaccess etc….)
2. This link for example http://baws.se/annonsering-kontakt/ and http://baws.se/avtal-villkor/ which can be reached from the footer. Doesn’t show up from the mobile end…. ?

I already have the updated versions of those plugins.

There should be a “Big Grid 3” under the trending ticker. Example: http://alllocalratings.com/
The theme has Grid 7 set as the top for category pages. Example: http://alllocalratings.com/blog/category/beauty/
These are just a couple specific examples. None of the big grids work (such as big grid 5).
I should also note that I do not see any console errors in Chrome dev tools.

for our site http://www.jongeturken.com we use theme version 2.3.6 & visual composer 4.9, we have issues with our visual composer, we can see the widget codes but cannot acces visual composer to add elements & other stuff.
Is it possible that theme version 2.3.6 is in conflict with visual composer 4.9?
+Is it always needed to deleted the VC file via FTP? Isn’t it enough just to deactivate en delete it?
It seems very odd.

I have checked your Id on my counter as well but the information is not getting pulled. It does for other users though, so i assume there is a setting on youtube on your page that is preventing the counter to pull the info.
As I see it your url does not pint to neither a channel nor a username. There is only the c/youtubeid, not channel/userid. If I access the playlist for example your link changes to the channel url and that is what you must enter in the social counter field:
channel/UCjnGSOGTw7CdX9RVcFIusOA
(Our social counter only works with a standard user or channel. If the link structure is different, then the counter will not be able to pull any information.)
I’m not sure why on your youtube page you do not get the channel ID.

I am not as disappointed as before, but still struggling with your theme. IMO, it is not very user friendly as other themes (we currently use Vantage Premium by Site Origin) we have tried, but I see the potential for our Web Magazine’s site. We have built our iMediaGroup’s site using the Sydney Pro template, again, vary easy and straight forward. But it seems that we have to get through a long learning curve in order to make the switch to your theme for our Web Magazine’s site.
My question is this; is there a YouTube video, or whitepaper that has an A to Z, step-by-step guide to setup a website such as ours (www.inbishkek.com) available? I’ve downloaded all your videos, and although it is nicely presented, it lacks a how to – as does the FAQ on your site.
For example; in our testing site prior to launch, I want to get rid of the pagination on the template page builder + latest articles + pagination, is it possible to make it “infinite”? I really do not want the pagination feature, but nowhere to be found is a guide how to do it. If this is controlled in the source files, can you point me to which one(s) and pass me the code so I can make the modifications?

Please provide an example, a link to your site pointing at these images so I can inspect them. Is the issue on posts or on pages? It could be the post template. Some post templates have full width featured images while others don’t:

Hi,
There is an easier way to do it besides altering the theme code. If you cannot upload big enough images, there is the thumbnail upscale plugin that will enlarge your images to fit the container. Our users recommend it and it seems to be working fine.
If you want to check if the image is a thumbnail or the full image you can use the browser inspector and check the image size. if there is no ‘(natural size)’ then you are dealing with a thumbnail.

The smart-list begins from the first heading used in it’s settings. For example if you choose here: http://screencast.com/t/dW7BPZa3gA h3 the smart list will begin from firs paragraph with a h3 tag on it. We recently activated the Newspaper theme this week with our content and noticed it loads VERY slow when we put in our advertising script code. Do you have any advice on how to speed up the loading time or is this an issue with the ad scripts?

Been playing with themes and having the recurring problem.
For the current example, I have selected the Recipies Theme
Gone to Theme panel
Removed Logo from Logo upload in Header section
saved
selected the same image (Spoons with spices)
saved
Selected preview on Home Page
The logo is now a small image in the centre of the header and not stretched accross the page as it had been when the theme was uploaded.
Not sure what causes this

me again with a small question and problem.
Using latest version of Newspaper theme 7.1.1. and Easy Social Share Plugin and everything works fine for months except one problem:
– On the featured image on a single blogpost when you move down with your mouse the “pinterest-button” will be displayed on the media (correct) and work
– But when you scroll down from the main menue (e.g. fashion or about me) and get to the position where the pinterest-button will start, it is not possible to click on the menue any longer. Is there a chance to give the menu a higher Z-index-value, so that is placed above the pinterest(easy share button)

I am having layout issues where when creating for instance a 2/3 column & 1/3 column layout in visual composer both columns take 100% of the width and are displayed one above the other.
I think this is due to js_composer.css overridding style.css (where the .td-pb-span8 & .td-pb-span4 classes are being overwritten by .vc_column_container)
Could you help with this please?

the code works on every page as it only affects the header. Only the first of these pages is set as homepage. the rest are other pages. It works on categories, posts and every other part of the site as the header is the same one.

Apologies if the questions were already raised, but I started here.
1 – I would like to withdraw your demo account creation from the pop-up but keep the ability to connect. Or otherwise put a link when you click on “register” to go to the account creation page bbpress / BuddyPress.
2 – I would like to see some pub, for example that of the header only for unconnected people and replace it with content, short-code example. I would prefer a piece of code to put in the function of the child theme instead of a plugin.

I have a real issue with the facebook sharing of my posts. Example:

The fact is that, if i scrape again with the sharing debugger tool, it gets corrected.

Thanks for explaining this to me. Is there still ways to be able to display content that is used by visual composer in the template files for the mobile theme (for example, a page that displays certain content, by creating a specific template?)
When reverting back from mobile theme, which i have done a couple of times. It throws the container for the page, therefore when i scroll down, my content can be swiped right and just displays the background.
I do want to use the mobile theme as i think it looks and loads amazingly, so if there is a way of customisation through page templates, that would be great.
