Hello,
I wanted the author, date and comment box to not show up on the homepage, but only on single pages. How can I go about doing this?
The Header menu, when clicking on a category page, shows all the nested categories.
But when the category has no childs, it shows them all:
Is there any way to hide the whole sub menu? Or to hide it when no childs are found on category?

We are getting a lot of fatal errors and white screens (which require a reload or 2 before website displays.
We have a dedicated server with the following guts:
8X Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1241 v3 @ 3.50GHz – Speed 3499.882 MHz – Cache 8192 KB
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 7999512 7368788 630724 80 383808 5755468
-/+ buffers/cache: 1229512 6770000
Swap: 8159228 275904 7883324
Total: 16158740 7644692 8514048
We also have 128MB allocated in the php.ini
We tried deactivating ALL plugins except visual composer.. This did NOT stop errors.
We tried deactivating all except those included from tagDiv.. This also did NOT fix it.

Any assistance fixing these errors and the huge use of server resources would be most appreciated !!

i get here after latest update massive Problems with images in Category Preview.
If i use videos or Pics in preview they will be go small
i identify the Problem in this line =

Is there a way to make the pagination area on mobile view larger? I would like to make it more noticeable and easier to navigate, spanning the width of the screen if possible.

starting to annoy me that this didn’t get fixed by WP in 4.2.1 — not theme issue —
curious anybody found fix for the duplicate “label” issue for the default WP “categories” widget ? We use this on our sidebars at top and since WP 4.2 we see duplicate labels — ON ALL THEMES, not just Newsmag (also on Woo Canvas for example).
Anybody run across a fix or hack for this?

wondering best way to change the header on the “category” indexes, which are more important to us than the tag pages.
So, for example of a category on our California site, like “Los Angeles News” — need to get that into a proper H1 style large “title” ala the “tag” template, and have that above the category description blog instead of the bootstrap style “label” …
I suppose I could copy the code from the tag template?
I had the same issue as well – could not really figure it out..
The issue seem to have went away when I started adjusting the borders and margins.
I haven’t seen the issue since I’ve adjusted those settings.

Just installed NewsMag, and I seem to be having issues with the sidebar getting bumped down. I thought it was the layout I was using, but I created the above test page and used one of the sample templates from the theme, and it’s still causing issues. I have tried both the default page and the latest articles + pagination.
Thoughts here on fixes?

A few weeks ago you had given me the solution for the mega menu arrows. But it is hard to get it good at al devices so I think change the arrow color is a better idea. Not grey (difficult to see) but deeppink theme color. How can I do that also with CSS?
You give me also the CSS code to remove the number of posts in categories. This works well at the home but not at http://no.nl/zyFP for example. What do I have to change to remove the number of posts from all categorie widgets?

Please make sure that al those tags exist because I have checked few tags and for example Rijksmuseum tag page exist – http://screencast.com/t/pVLOfPUhO2 but “Rondvaarten” tag page doesn’t exist – http://screencast.com/t/zV8g9sYm
But the articles tagged “Rijksmuseum” is not part of the “Bezienswaardigheden” category what you filter in slide settings, it is a part of Musea category: http://screencast.com/t/ogUh9dh1bl
If you want to filter by tag the best way is to not filter by category so leave there “All categories” and see if it works.

1. I suspect it may be an error which comes from the serve or the CDN(if you use one). When it happens check the browser console for error and post a screenshot here. I’ve checked your page but the image is there on each refresh.
2. I’ve checked your font issue and for example on Firefox it uses a system font instead of Roboto Condensed – http://screencast.com/t/9u3P8WhkCopN
Please provide more details on how did you set the font for the menu, some images with the configuration panel may help.

Hey, so checking the Google Structured data tool for my front page I found out the there is an error for one of the template entries, and you can see that in the link.
Besides that, I’d like to hide the breadcrumbs for the front page. It says Blog there as the base url, and I really don’t understand why, since it’s the front page and it doesn’t really need any breadcrumbs.
Having said that, Google shows something wrong in it’s analysis, because in the Breadcrumbs data for the front page I dont have the base url, I have a sticky article set as the url for the blog, and that is not right.
How can this be fixed?

2. I use Custom ads. The code I complete on Theme Panel is disappear sometimes, I have to complete again and again…. I don’t understand why my custom ads fields are just blank after 2 or 3 days I registered the codes…

You have this option in big slider settings panel which you can try: http://screencast.com/t/9Qi6lWmY1D but please note that the slider(or any tagdiv block) was designed to work with posts and using pages you may need additional customization. It works but I suggest to use this only if is necessarily, because you won’t have many options in block settings to work with pages, for example sort order will be “Latest”. If you choose to use pages instead of posts in blocks/slider you will need to add a featured image like on post pages.

Not a theme issue. This is managed by WordPress … often if it doesn’t work on your site, you can setup a cron job for your server/hosting environment. Scheduled posts are managed by WP-cron (wp-includes/cron.php) which doesn’t work on all hosting setups.
