Hello!
1. You can change the roles and capabilities of your users from here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/
But, you can use a plugin for this, for example the Members – Membership & User Role Editor Plugin.
2. You can only modify the footer with TagDiv Composer if you go to a page where it is assigned and edit that page with TagDiv Composer, and then you will have access to the footer also. For example, edit your homepage with TagDiv Composer, scroll till footer, click on footer zone and you can edit it. For example, click on the row and change the background color: https://prnt.sc/d2Zti7GWIxPu
If you do not have footer, import a blank footer assign it on your homepage and make it global. Add the element List Menu and choose the menu already created in Appearance -> Menus from the element’s settings.
3. If you can edit the page with the TagDiv Composer, there you can edit the color and the hover color: https://prnt.sc/cAIY7Pd7MWYh
4. Do you mean these ads: https://prnt.sc/GhQA0Z126fmY ? You can disable it from here: https://prnt.sc/BDwqu0aItL2G
Thank you!
I have created About us page with tagDiv composer only, but I don’t know why it’s coming like this, and the other link https://dronefluence.com/newsletters/ also an page, but really not able to understand why about us page is behaving like this, it’s not a category template.
Your solution is incomplete itseems. “Please note that you cannot assign a category template to a normal page, for example.”
I use the Mobile Theme Plugin.
the problem is that when i install AMP, with the Mobile Theme Plugin activated, the site on both desktop and mobile side is not working well
Hello!
I’m sorry to hear that. It’s a CSS solution; please check: https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_css_zoom_hover.asp You can customize the about us page with the tagDiv Composer or import a page already created from Cloud Library. Please note that you cannot assign a category template to a normal page, for example.
Thank you!
Hi @Anamaria, thank you for your advice. It is really helpful!
I have another question… Now if instead of a button, I would like to use an image/favicon as the hyperlink, how do I do that?
For example, I would like to use a Facebook icon and upon clicking the icon, it leads to the a certain Faceboook page.
Appreciate your advice again. Thanks!
Hi Anamaria thanks 🙂 I deleted the object cache, Cloudflare cache & browser cache and it’s working OK now.
Hello,
The AMP only works better with the Mobile Theme plugin. From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-working-well-with-this-theme/
Thank you!
Hello,
Please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/low-scores-on-mobile-theme-amp-and-desktop-pagespeed-and-gt-metrics-optimize/ and try this code -> // Preload Newspaper fonts for responsive theme (main theme) function dns_prefetch_responsive()
{
echo '';
echo '';
}
add_action( 'wp_head', 'dns_prefetch_responsive', 0 );
Also, please check this post https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
When I install the AMP plugin and set the various options, the Newspaper theme for both desktop and mobile does not work. They don’t load the images or even the various graphic components.
Hello!
Edit your homepage with the TagDiv Composer, click on Cloud and here you have a lot of examples: https://prnt.sc/9HPvc45MzyOc
Click on the one you like, then import section: https://prnt.sc/ntFDqKnrNt0I
Thank you!

Sandboxing (Experimental)
Try out a more flexible AMP by generating pages that use AMP components without requiring AMP validity! By selecting a sandboxing level, you are indicating the minimum degree of sanitization. For example, if you selected the loose level but have a page without any POST form and no custom scripts, it will still be served as valid AMP—the same as if you had selected the strict level.
Enable sandboxing experiment
Paired URL Structure
When using the Transitional or Reader template modes, your site is in a “Paired AMP” configuration. Your site’s canonical URLs are non-AMP, and the separate AMP versions of your pages have AMP-specific URLs. The structure of a paired AMP URL is not important, whether using a query parameter or path suffix. The use of a query parameter is the most compatible across various sites and it has the benefit of not resulting in a 404 if the AMP plugin is deactivated. Note: Changing the paired URL structure can cause AMP pages to temporarily disappear from search results until your site is re-indexed. If you’re migrating from another AMP plugin with a different paired URL structure, then you may want to change this setting. Otherwise we recommend leaving it as is. Learn more
There are one or more entities that are already using the “amp” URL slug. For this reason, you cannot currently use the path suffix or legacy reader paired URL structures. See below for the source of the slug conflict(s):
Tag: AMP (ID: 9265)
Query parameter: ?amp=1 (default)
Path suffix: /amp/ (unavailable due to slug conflict per above)
Legacy transitional: ?amp
Legacy reader: /amp/ & ?amp (unavailable due to slug conflict per above)

Redirect mobile visitors to AMP
Enable Developer Tools
Enable AMP developer tools to surface validation errors when editing posts and viewing the site.
This is a per-user setting. It presumes you have some experience coding with HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP. Once enabled you will have access to Validated URLs and Error Index in the admin menu, the Validate URL item in the admin bar, and the AMP Validation sidebar in the editor.
Use native HTML image tag
The native HTML can now be used instead of the AMP-specific <amp-img> tag. AMP no longer requires the latter because lazy-loading is now a feature of the Web platform. Using native images can further improve page performance, although not all AMP components have been updated to work with them (see example). If you have CSS that is specifically targeting <amp-img> tags, you will need to update them to target
instead (which can be done by default since such tags are automatically rewritten in CSS selectors when conversions are done).
Delete plugin data at uninstall
When you uninstall the plugin you have the choice of whether its data should also be deleted. Examples of plugin data include the settings, validated URLs, and transients used to store image dimensions and parsed stylesheets.

I know how to inspect elements and read the classes.
But in this thread Calin recommended me to create a class and assign it to element (without necessity to dig its name with the browser’s inspector). Therefore my question was totally different.
I asked whether you have ready-to-use classes for hiding/displaying elements on various screen sizes. Then I cann assign such classes to particular elements to show/hide them. For example, xx-hide-on-mobile, xx-show-on-mobile, xx-hide-on-desktop etc
I used another theme in the past and they made such classes available for the users. It was very convenient in some situations.
Hi, thank you for your reply. I use a text type custom field that contains an iFrame code from Simplecast to display the Simplecast player above my posts (the box is inserted in a Newspaper post cloud template).
See example in newspaper version 12.3 here:
https://azeletmegminden.hu/058-szonyi-ferenc-podcast/
It has worked all right in previous Newspaper versions including 12.3: the Simplecast player displays in full width of the custom field block on the page.
When I update to Newspaper version 12.3.1 the iframe player’s width gets limited to like 300px, although the custom field box is set to auto-width.
Here is an example for the iframe code:
<iframe height=”200px” width=”100%” frameborder=”no” scrolling=”no” seamless src=”https://player.simplecast.com/2c8e6266-1122-4b6b-be35-804b9ea12080?dark=false”></iframe>
Hello @Anshuminesh19 !
Can you please provide a clear example(screenshots/video), so I can better understand where the issue is and fix it as soon as possible?
Thank you!
Hi,
In case you still have problems with the amp version, can you please share the amp settings? Do you use the amp with the mobile theme plugin or without it?
Thank you!
AMP is not working on my site. After updating the version, AMP started giving errors. I canceled AMP. My ranking on Google has dropped completely. Please help me.

Hi so my tech guy has advised me to ask if the td-multipurpose.ttf file in the following path:
This font has mutliple language fonts etc and is a very large file of 127kb.
I have a theme for desktop and a mobile theme. There’s a child theme used. How do I optimise this font feature? We only use English in our website. Thanks a lot!
Sorry, I ended up forgetting one detail: actually, I want a specific category not to appear on the mobile home page and not all categories. how I do? I want the posts from the Brazil category to not appear https://mobilidadesampa.com.br/category/brasil/
Hi,
I already did the step you mention earlier and its not working. The issue still persist. When I assign a cloud template for a CPT or taxonomy and set an individual header & footer, it still show the global header and footer for that template. Is it any way to fix this?
Hello,
Unfortunately, we cannot offer any preferential discounts for buying the Newspaper theme. I’m sorry!
You can subscribe to our newsletter to hear about future discount campaigns – https://bit.ly/2WJ2Opv.
Thank you so much for understanding.
Have a lovely day ahead!
I prefer NOT to use the Mobile Theme UI, since the responsive desktop UI works better for my purpose.
But some aspects of the desktop UI, eg styling and sizing, do not carry over, eg, how posts are presented on a phone.
Would it be possible for a future update to allow the desktop UI to be changed and adapted for phone and tablet display, as for example is the case with Elegant Theme’s Divi website page builder?

Amp site scan fails when tagDiv Cloud Library is active.
If I deactivate Cloud Library works well.
No problem before.
Thanks for your help.

We’re finishing up the home page and are using the Flex Block 1.
In the “layout”, in “modules per row” we are setting the number of horizontal modules for each viewport.
Example:
Desktop: 4 modules per row [] [] [] []
Horizontal: 3 modules per row [] [] []
Vertical: 2 modules per row [] []
Mobile: 1 module per row []
How do we limit the amount of articles shown per viewport?
Currently it is set to show 4 so it fills up well on the desktop viewport as it’s big and wide.
On Horizontal it also shows 4: 3 on the same row + 1 on the next row, which isn’t what we want.
Instead we only want to show 3 there.
On Vertical it shows 4 (2 rows of 2) which is OK, but we’d rather have it just 2 here.
On Mobile it shows 4 (4 rows of 1), which is way too much for such a small format with 6 main categories.
We’d just like to show only 2.
How do we do this?
Hello, Tagdiv support.
We have changed our faster server with more stability. We have noticed that one of the speed issues is with the CSS and template icons on both servers.
We have WPRocket Pro and have already minified the CSS and Javascript. We only have the Tagdiv Mobile plugin activated because together with the AMP plugin the web is much slower. We don’t have icons anywhere on our website.
I have tried with an empty template (blank) and the speed does not change. The charging time is similar with our design (down 6 points)
How can we make our mobile version go faster? or how can we minimize that css and icons?
Attached link to the Google PageSpeed Insight test (PDF). https://we.tl/t-v0Uipmp7MQ
A regards and thanks for your time.
