I have them both checked but they are nowhere to be found and I can’t edit the latest articles section to my liking. What am I doing wrong?

Random pages, including the home page seem to be loading the AMP version of the site for desktop URLs:

Here is a screenshot of the home page, for example: https://geekprepper.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/2021-08-24_12-00-30.jpg

This is not what the home page for desktop should look like.

See this screenshot for AMP settings: https://geekprepper.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/2021-08-24_12-34-02.jpg

Thanks for your help

Well Google Search Console says images are too small for AMP. How do we fix this please? Thank you so much.

Hi atish20,
Normal for amp version if you are using the amp plugin and mobile theme with one of those options https://i.imgur.com/HSGYWio.png it should work without problems. If those are your settings and you have some problems, please make a test and use only theme plugins to see if the problem persist.
Thank you!

Hi Calin

Thanks for the answer. I am not using any cache object plugins. The only plugins I use are the basic ones I need to run my news and woocommerce site:
-Paid Membership Pro
-WP Mail SMTP
-WPForms Lite
and for Woocommerce
-Woocommerce Paypal
-Variation Swatches for woocommerce
None of them acting on the cache. I disabled other translation and site maintenance for testing.
If the posts do not update, I will contact you again and would like more in-depth technical support about this issue on my website (for example, on my homepage, a category is showing posts from 2020, although there are more recent ones, and this is a delicate fact on a Daily News site).
If there is a solution, please inform me promptly in the case of any other user who has managed to resolve the issue.
thanks and regards

Hi Joaquim Oliveira, I checked your website related to this problem https://ibb.co/4PbwSJ1 and this is the amp version, usually this situation it appears when you are suing only the amp plugin without mobile theme and the amp option is not set on “Reader” -> https://i.imgur.com/wNHv6Aj.png
Please check this and let me know the results!

Hi turma99, if I understand correctly, you have an image that you want to be set as top bar for your amp version. Now the easiest way it is to set it in one of the ads files like Vlad suggested or in this places https://i.imgur.com/zYxTAsO.png this is the only solution to set the code in theme settings, if this is not what you want, then you need to set it in theme files (please notice that when the theme will be updated those changes from theme files will be removed). The file path it is wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/header-amp.php
Thank you!

Hi,
I think that this situation can be done if you add on row some negative margins like this https://i.imgur.com/9uBz044.jpg in my example it was need to add “-48” margin left and right on row css to display properly.
I hope this will help you!
Let me know the results!

Hi,
If the page is pass those validators:
https://validator.ampproject.org/
and
https://search.google.com/test/amp
Then there will be no problems. Is possible that the plugin that you use to have a different structure or something different by the default validators.
Unfortunately, I can not check the site now because this is in maintenance.
Thank you!

Hi periodical.apartments,
I thing that you are referring that the normal content it is not the same on amp version, this is because when you use the mobile theme plugin with amp, the pages content is not use (because most of the time those pages are made with builders to display blocks, that makes the mobile version slower, therefore, the mobile content, you need to use the mobile editor and only the elements from it to set your pages content for mobile theme and amp) -> https://i.imgur.com/UExfZC7.png
Thank you!

Hello,

I did some tests with the AMP validator and says the AMP posts are valid https://www.screencast.com/t/Dc1ju3k62 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/i6k9qajppU
Please provide some screenshots and some links with your posts that have the AMP invalid.

Thank you!

Hi MGatehouse, I think that this situation appears only when you are using a single post from tagDiv Cloud Library and not with a standard post style. If is so, then this can be because the cloud templates are some post types and the Patreon plugin is interpreted like a post types not like a template.
Now I can not guaranteed that I can help to fix this, but if I have some example and here to make some investigations, maybe I can provide some help.
Thank you!

Hi jpack, the path on the icons is a little different set, for example in this case the path it is set here -> https://i.imgur.com/IAt1pvh.png also here -> https://i.imgur.com/iGkaZNI.png
I think that Bettina suggested to try to optimize those like I suggested here -> https://i.imgur.com/ngoCEoF.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/low-scores-on-mobile-theme-amp-and-desktop-pagespeed-and-gt-metrics-optimize/
In your case I think it should be like this:

// Preload Newspaper fonts for responsive theme (main theme) function dns_prefetch_responsive()
{
echo '<link rel="preload" href="https://your-domain/wp-content/plugins/td-newsletter/images/icons/multipurpose.woff?2" as="font">';
}
add_action( 'wp_head', 'dns_prefetch_responsive', 0 );

I hope this will help you!

Hello,

My website has 5 categories and none of them has subcategories. But when I viewed the category template on the front-end, the Category Siblings element just shows every category right below the category title. (I think it should show nothing there because it has no subcategories?)

I have tested by creating a new subcategory for category A, for example. In this case, when I viewed the category A, I saw its single subcategory showing correctly below the category title. But once I checked another one that did not have subcategories, I still saw all 5 categories from the Category Siblings element.

I wonder if it’s a bug? Or do you know if there’s any setting about this?

Regards,
Ekapob

Vlad, thanks much for much for your response about the ads.
However, the video that you shared is about how to add them. What I need is the way to disable all the add from “Newspaper TagDiv” that appear by default when a whole category is called.
For example, you see the ad here: https://zignox.com/category/argentina/
But not in the pages that I’ve created from the scratch, like this one:
https://zignox.com/2021/08/17/uala-gets-usd350-million-to-expand-in-argentina-mexico-latin-finance/
In short, I have no idea where the ads are located and how to delete them for good.

Please, let know any idea.
Thanks much again.

thanks for reply, I have one more questions, how to set “Full Width Content”

example
https://www.thestandnews.com/

https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
I have followed above “Full Width Content” but don’t know which options I should select. 1800?

Hi, Vlad!

But the content is not an ad, is a top bar. What should we do?

1. At the end of style tag:
#r7header {
background-color: #0071bc;
display: block;
text-align: center;
width: 100%;
}

2. At the beggining of the body tag:

<amp-img src=”
https://sc.r7.com/amp/logo-r7-amp.jpg&#8221; width=”200″ height=”60″></amp-img>

Hello,

If I understand correctly, you have done changes in the files for Single Post Template 13, if these changes were made in the theme files (not in the child theme) then simply selecting that template for the post should show the changes.
Please don’t change the name of the single post template in a file that does not exist, for example, single_template_14 (this will not appears in the post template options).
I would recommend that you save the changes in a child theme so that they will not be lost after an update of the theme.

Thank you!

Hi!
AMP validator plugin throws an error.
http://i.piccy.info/i9/a3373d09d8a6112f3f57cb73450621d3/1629721700/27587/1433346/2021_08_23_15_28_02.png

When the page is checked by a validator (not a plugin), there are no errors, the page is being validated.

Whom to believe?)

Hello!

The ads can be removed if you use tagDiv Composer on your page, as you can see here an example of how to edit the ads built in ADBox elements (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU&t=8s )

For the Invalid reply error, We would like to take a look and see what settings are done in there. Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:

– admin url and credentials
– A link to this topic in order to identify you

Our team will take a look!

Thank you !

Hello!

Can you send us an example of the code you would use? So we can test and see if this is doable.

Hello,

The background image can be blurry when the image is smaller and need to be stretch or when you have set a smaller thumb for that image, make sure that you set the full size for the image that you have set as background, for example-> https://i.imgur.com/OknhKDS.jpg

Thank you!
