Hi, I’m using Newspaper 9.5 and the related td AMP Plugin on my localhost test site. When I activate the plugin, it all works great except for the mobile menu which disappears. Is there a bug with this version 9.5? Is it required to install the td mobile plugin besides the td AMP plugin? (I tried this but in 9.5 this leads to a huge bug on AMP posts)
The break wasn’t that bad for me. AMP still works and I’ve used the responsive site anyway. If you rely heavily on the mobile theme, I’d hold off.
Good afternoon Tagdiv Tea,
I would like your support and help regarding these errors and issues. I’m still new, but I’m an IT guy. It made a big mess on my WordPress website! really disappointed :/ :

Any ideas why my AMP view is not working if mobile theme is enabled?
My settings contain the following: http://prntscr.com/nd9sgh
If it helps: I do use cloud templates and have auto load next article to on, on desktop version.
Seems to appear when I disable the mobile theme. I have enabled AMP in the mobile theme using the Mobile+Amp option.

Hi,
Please provide me some screenshots with the setup you made for menu here is an example -> https://www.screencast.com/t/pCyvuj3NSf on mobile theme will appear only the menus from homepages -> https://www.screencast.com/t/0GWR3xqJJzcf mega menu will no appear.
Thank you!
Hi all,
AMP is not appearing in my installations sidebar. I am on the latest version.
In addition, site speed is dramatically slower. Previously, on 9.5, it was 2.4 seconds: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.thenerdystudent.com/Z10lATRl
Thanks
Hi,
In order to add some css for tables to AMP you need to edit the style.php file from amp plugin, so you need to go in wp-content/plugins/amp/templates/style.php
If you want to ad the css for mobile amp you can set the code directly in Theme Panel>Mobile theme Custom code>CSS
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/IJmq2e0mK
Thank you for your understanding.
I appreciate the follow-up, Catalin. But once again, your example is using the image as a background-image: attribute behind the block title, and I need to use the content: attribute along with the :after pseudo-class to place the arrow after the title. It works fine as I showed above if I write the rule generally for all .block-title instances. But I can’t seem to get the selector to work just for that one particular .block-title.
Thanks for your kind reply, the issue is now resolved after updating the amp version. I use only the default gallery. The issue was with the amp plugin.
Hi Calin,
Example post can be found – https://soperth.com.au/perth-public-holidays-bars-pubs-and-restaurant-opening-hours-27091
Essentially I just want to have it so the sidebar doesn’t show at the end of the post as I feel that this doesn’t add to the user experience and just increases site load time.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers
Adam
Hello,
You actually didn’t respond to my main issue.
I wanted to know how to reduce this section (usually black and below main menu) containing title, author name and date (i.e, By abc – d/m/y ), etc. It appears really big on desktop – consuming a lot of space and half of it is empty.
Section example – hubstatic.com/14492090.jpg
Site: techappeala.com – you can check a post or page for the section.
Thanks,
Hi,
If you want to hide a sidebar for a specific page, you can do this with a bit of CSS code. First of all, you need to find the page ID and then add the display: none; property to your element you want to be hidden. This is an example for a category page -> https://www.screencast.com/t/RrvMApfs4xRq
Thank you!
Hi,
Please check the solution provide in this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/fix-for-autoptimize-aggregate-css-files-breaking-amp/

Please help me show the right version on right device i want desktop version on desktop and mobile + amp version on mobiles and small screens
Just a quick question:
Is it necessary to have the AMP plugin installed with the mobile plugin? Or can I just have the mobile plugin installed?
Thanks

Does the theme support this?
Thanks
Hello Guys!
With the old Tag Div AMP plugin we had located the location to put custom CSS in the style sheet with your help as we wanted to make our tables responsive in AMP.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/where-can-i-locate-the-amp-css-style-sheet/
Now that the theme is using a new plugin (Official AMP for WordPress) the changes have been lost.
Could you please let us know how we can put custom CSS?
Regards
Ashutosh
Dear Tagdiv support team,
I am trying to set up my web-site http://www.afeds.org and I am having an issue I can’t resolve with Post Titles on the Slider. I have imported ‘TRAVEL BLOG’ demo content on my site and I managed to have the Slider Up and running just as it is on the Demo Example, but it is being impossible for me to include Post Titles, since my slider is connected to posts –> https://prnt.sc/nd1isv .
Please contact me if you need further details on this issue, I’d appreciate if you could give me a guide how to include title on Slider posts or I could provide you with WP-Admin credentials and maybe you could resolve this issue for me.
Looking forward to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Mirsad
Hi,
Please check the following screenshot and try to replicate the same thing from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/UeAiJ5GI Here is an example for Craft Ideas demo which uses the same image to the block title section.
Hope this helps!
Thank you!
Earlier this month I posted regarding the loss of revenue on my site due to the current theme update. I requested for version 9.5 and Bogdan send me the files.
Immediately after the downgrade, my Adsense started to stabilize and my CPC is going back up again.
90% of my traffic is mobile and that contributes largely to my Adsense Earnings.
Lessons from this
1. The Tagdiv AMP plugin is better than the official WordPress AMP Plugin. The WordPress AMP plugin has many errors and I noticed my site speed was slow and some of the keywords went down.
2. The new integration of Mobile + AMP does not work well for me especially with Adsense. Adsense has AMP Ads well optimized for AMP. The new combination of AMP + Mobile theme limits me to one kind of Ads. I set that up and Google asked me to convert the non-AMP Ads to AMP Ads. (If tag div insists on this new setup, can we have space for AMP Ads? – Not the Auto AMP Ads section)
3. Site Speed – The WordPress AMP Plugin is not well optimized
4. I am a worried person because I don’t see upgrading to the newer versions of the theme. I will be left with the old theme with a plugin that no one wants to update (tag div amp plugin and mobile plugin).

Hi,
I would like to add custom text to a category archive.
And it would be good to use the different content blocks to display and filter the right posts from sub-categories.
For example, a category & sub-categories are called:
Spain
– sights in Spain
– food in Spain
In the category archive I would like to add my own text with more info about sights & food in Spain.
Then in that content I would like to place a block filtering the posts with the sub-category “sights in Spain” and beneath the food text the posts with the sub-category “food in Spain”.
Where & how can I do this?
Thanks!
I am getting an error “The mandatory tag ‘head > style[amp-boilerplate]’ is missing or incorrect.”
Can you please check whats the issue.
