Hi,
To change your WordPress site language, go to Settings → General and look for the Site Language drop-down.
You can change the language from here https://i.imgur.com/DcQ5n5b.png If you upload the translation from Theme Panel -> Translation -> Translation and some words didn’t get the translation, then its possible to change if you edit with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/dlfnb0fnX5, for example for the search template, please edit it and select the elements -> https://i.imgur.com/emO3j5e.png
Thank you!
Hello, my website is https://www.elcineenlasombra.com/, but you will not be able to see the problem there. I am designing the change of template to Newspaper in a test environment.
The problem is that the links to the posts within the different subcategories do not appear in the source code. I understand that they are loaded later on the client side. And, therefore, its visibility for Google is lower. I am referring, for example, to the post that I indicate with the red circle. The link to that link is not in the source code.

https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/
These links are not seen by Google or there is a risk that they will not be seen by Google. In that case, that menu wouldn’t work for me because it wouldn’t be linking to items on the menu. I would only link to categories and subcategories.
Hello!
You can use a license key for one single product(website). For the other domains/sub-domains, please consider buying another license key. There are two places for a license: one can be used for staging, and the other is for the live version of your product/sub-domain/website. If you want to move the theme to another website or change domain/migrate, you’ll need to reset the license key from that website: https://www.screencast.com/t/Zt12bpyX and remove the theme (delete), in this way the license will be available for the new website and you can use the theme without any problems.
If you use it on subdomains that are a part of your product or wp multisite, you could use the same key.
Check this thread for example: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/sub-domains-installation/
Thank you!
Hello!
I can see that you use mobile theme plugin.
We have 3 options available for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Thank you!
Hi,
Using the mobile theme, you cannot add shortcodes, only text and image in the mobile editor;
You can’t edit the Mobile theme and AMP version with tagdiv Composer; the only settings are from Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme.
The mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
So, if you want to have those shortcodes displayed, you need to disable the mobile theme plugin.
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.
You can translate the title “Latest articles”,from Theme Panel -> Translations -> Translations -> https://i.imgur.com/au65th8.png -> https://i.imgur.com/E46N46d.png
Thank you!
Hello,
Yes, it is okay if you have disable the mobile theme.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
Thank you!
Following the upgrade of my site to Newspaper 12 I encountered this wp_booster error on all my pages.
Please help. See this page for example: https://defense-update.com/20240221_hermes-650-spark-uas.html
Hello.
Apologies for what is probably a very basic question. We installed Newsweek Pro (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_week_pro/) and are wondering how (where?) the filters are activated for the landing area.
If we click on the element, and go to “filter” (category filter), we are not seeing where the categories are selected. So we’re not sure how specific content is appearing in each element.
Example: the two vertical “TRAVEL” category elements in the demo.
It seems we cannot attach a screenshot.
Hello!
Deactivate the cache plugin that you use and check again to see if the problem is still there.

Hello,
We don’t recommend to using amp, because it is deprecated -> https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/storefront/wordpress/platform-integration/enabling-amp -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-end-of-line/
For mobile theme + Amp the content need to be added in Mobile Editor -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH
Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/and choose what mobile version you want.
Thank you!
Hi,
In this topic is a suggestion on how to redirect the links https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-end-of-line/
You can try to add the code here https://imgur.com/2myuxcU and if it not work in this path if you have also, the mobile theme -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/single.php
Thank you!
Hello Matt,
I recommend updating the theme to version 12.6.6 and checking for malware.
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
You could consider reinstalling the WordPress version, and checking for this plugin wp-zexit.php. It might be wise to inspect via FTP if it doesn’t appear in the WordPress -> Plugins. Additionally, using Wordfence to scan the website and remove unknown users would be prudent.
Change admin passwords and delete admin accounts you are not familiar with;
– Delete any weird/unknown plugins;
– Delete the weird/unknown themes;
– Clean unfamiliar Theme Panel injected code (example – https://i.imgur.com/4q70kCv.png);
– Clean WordPress files (example – https://i.imgur.com/stJCqiK.png)
Please block /wp-json/tdw/save_css
If an attacker wants to target this URL /wp-json/tdw/save_css they can do so. Even if the website uses a different theme, the attacker can still try that URL. We could add an option to be able to enable/disable the Live CSS, it will be considered. But for now in order to remove it this can only be done with a modification to the composer plugin. I think that all that removing it requires is to comment this line of code – https://prnt.sc/RtwvL5Nc4ikR -> https://prnt.sc/ymZmhdUfp57U But as I mentioned, the attacker can still try to access the URL.
If you want, you can contact our custom work team here, and they can help you update the theme safely: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/
Thank you!
Hello Anamaria!
I have resolved the WordPress plugin conflict with the theme and tagdiv plugins.
Now please let me know about the following.
Can the overall look of the press forum when inserted via shortcode be improved?
For example i created a page using one of the cloud templates, and it doesnt look quite well.
Here is the url.
https://newspatron.com/tagdiv-composer-draft/
As you can see the forums are loaded but havent matched to the overall look of the theme.
Please let me know about this
I understand that you use the TagDiv Newspaper theme which is not a very performant theme, but at this point, you don’t have an option to change the theme.
That being said, during the audit (even while working on the staging environment) I did find numerous issues with your website mainly related to the below 2 points:
1. Images
2. JS
Your team can severely improve this by incorporating my feedback below. I understand that this response is quite technical, so I highly encourage you to share this with your internal dev team. Now let’s dive deeper.
## Images
Let’s start with the images, as it’s the biggest problem for your website.
### Problem 1 — Images:
So currently across your website (home page, single article page and other pages) images are not actually being loaded via HTML image (img) tags. Instead, they are being loaded as CSS background images.
This forces the browser to download all the images at the same time despite not needing them. Also, lazy-loading these images is almost impossible as all images are CSS background images with no unique class attached. Here are a few examples:
Though I’ve only shared a couple of screenshots, but this problem remains across your website on every single page. Be it the home page or any other pages. Every single page on your website have this exact same issue when it comes to images.
#### Solution:
All these span that are basically holding the images as CSS background images should be replaced with HTML img tag with proper width, height, class names attached to them.
Different images should also have unique classes attached to the img element to easily target them like:
– slider-thumb-img
– three-article-row-img
– featured-article-img
and so on…. (these class names are hypothetical just to give you and your team and idea)
This would make the images to be properly understood by the browser (thanks to the img tag) and also render and lazy load them properly. Also the proper width and height attribute would also maintain the CLS from image size shifting.
## Problem 2
The second problem that is related to your website images are image sizes.
Firstly, I can see that you are loading images from static.profootballnetwork.com making them not to be served from https://www.profootballnetwork.com/ and as a result not getting the benefit of Cloudflare Enterprise caching (higher cache HIT ratio and lifespan) and image optimization.
Secondly, you are loading way bigger images on your web pages asking for them to be scaled down and served to the user. In doing so, the browser has to spend a lot of time to downscale and render/paint the images.
This is why, it is always best to create multiple image sizes for your website using add_image_size() – exactly the image sizes that you need and then use them accordingly where needed.
Here are a few examples:
https://i.imgur.com/Ddl7gp7.jpeg — https://i.imgur.com/YGIjOmi.jpeg
https://i.imgur.com/O3KSAu0.jpeg — https://i.imgur.com/CmO72p8.jpeg
https://i.imgur.com/iHbHJap.jpeg — https://i.imgur.com/KLVA4HY.jpeg
This is not only making the size of your webpage insanely larger but also hurting your CWV and website performance.This issue is also present across your website, across every pages.
#### Solution:
Use add_image_size() to create custom image sizes that are needed for your sites and then serve images with HTML img tags with that exact image size that is needed for that section.
Alternatively, your team can also leverage Cloudflare Images to automatically resize the images directly on the cloud. More info: https://developers.cloudflare.com/images/transform-images/transform-via-url/
## Problem 2 — JS Scripts:
Thanks to Tagdiv Newspaper theme, the website is highly reliant on javascript and especially jQuery requiring the jQUery library to be loaded along with other jQuery scripts for the slider and other things to function properly. Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/WELMdYl.jpeg
But a huge chunk of JS is coming from the ad networks, so I would highly recommend you to reach out to your ad provider asking them to reduce as much JS load as possible and possibly delay ad loading to reduce the JS impact on the website from the ads.
Hi, I have installed AMP and mobile theme plugins and modified them while following the docs. I fail to alter the home page body. How do I take control of it and change or add some features?
Hello,
We are aware of this, but our company still receives significant traffic from AMP URLs, and we do not want to discontinue using them. Could you please provide a temporary solution for our issue?
Thank you.
Hi,
Please let me know what wasn’t working with the block. Can you provide an example with a screenshot/video?
Thank you!
fully on board that dark mode is needed & each update I hope there is this one change. However — having seen a couple of other themes, it does not seem to be an uncomplicated add on for a theme like Newspaper which offers so much customisation. Dark mode requires colour customisation etc too — of course, cant be sure that this is the reason Newspaper is delaying it, but just here to say that between the customizations and endless features that Newspaper offers and Dark mode, I’d choose the former. People come to your site for content and yes, design plays a huge role, but it isn’t the only factor.
Hi,

Hello,
We want to add an <amp-embed> tag on our AMP pages immediately after the closing </article> tag, as shown in this image: screenshot (https://app.screencast.com/RDiDWdUxootDF).
We have tried using the WordPress actions the_content and wp_footer. However, the_content injects it before the <footer> tag, while wp_footer injects it at the very bottom of the page.
Is there a custom filter or action in your theme that we can use to achieve this placement?
Thank you!
Hello! I installed bb press but i think the look is not as it is supposed to be. How can i improve a BBPress page?
I have implemented bbpress index shortcode [bbp-topic-index] one a very basic page.
The page url is
https://newspatron.com/forums/
Also on the home page i have posted the shortcode [bbp-register]. https://newspatron.com
Please let me know if the following objectives could be achieved.
1. I want to improve the look of the Forums page.
2. I want to use templates from the cloud library to construct a beautiful page where i can insert bbpress shortcodes.
[I tried however wasn’t able to do so, easily via importing the pages, sections and blocks and home pages.
Ideally i was looking to get started with a selected template and use the same for bbpress, by simply inserting a
shortcode].
3. On my posts i want to easily add the related forum for a reader to add comments via post forums. I am looking to display the topic forum on the post itself. Here is an example post
https://newspatron.com/mandakini-review/
[The above post has shortcode for registration inserted in the post template]
The above post has the shortcode [bbp-single-forum id=5366] in the individual post itself for users to interact.
Here is an example BB Press Forum, that I am ideally looking forward to matching up with the look of the newspaper theme and or the selected template/section/blocks or homepage template.
https://newspatron.com/topic/mandakini-review-7-reasons-why-its-a-chaotic-delight/#new-post
I tried accessing the following thread, however it seems to be blocked.
[https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/how-to-customize-bbpress-forum/]
In summary, please explain how various features of BB Press could be implemented on the Newspaper theme, particularly for the website Newspatron.com, that is a news website.
Thanks and Regards
Hello,
Please disable alos, the mobile theme plugin.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!
Hi i’ve a newspaper12 template but mobile version is different from desktop version.
Teresa aren’t some articles and there aren’t sponsor etc.
How can i set a responsive version for mobile that have some setting as PC desktop version?
I’ve also disabled AMP pluin but no difference.
Hi Alex,
Yes, the option has been fixed -https://i.imgur.com/OGfcnc3.png – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper/?utm_source=forum&utm_medium=menu&utm_campaign=forum_loggedin&utm_content=52878 – https://i.imgur.com/4kBJjnv.png
As for the new suggestion, a similar option for the featured images for blocks modules is on our list (unfortunately is not yet assigned, so I d not know if will be add in the coming update or not), I believe that this will be add on each flex block, also I added your suggestion with the theme panel option and I hope this option will be add in the coming updates.
Thank you!
