That would be the default design for the big grids. There are many big grid designs to choose from. For example style 4 does not feature a dark gradient.
But if you want to use style 1 and remove the dark overlay, enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS
.td-grid-style-1.td-hover-1 .td-module-thumb a:last-child:before {
display: none;
}
It will remove the overlay for most grids once entered

The mobile modal window in which the menu will be displayed, has settings in the theme panel

You can set a background color or gradient for the modal window, so you can set a white background color and also color the text red.

I believe it was a decision when the theme was created, a sidebar was considered enough for the post page for example. Maybe this will change in a future update, I cannot say for sure if there are any plans in this matter however. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello, i would like to know what is the best way to load the specified fonts regarding the language i want. For example, Greek will load Open Sans, Russian will load Montserrat, Turkish will load Montserrat, etc.. I’m using this way in my website, but it seems that when i change page , different from the homepage it doesn’t load the fonts i have uploaded to my server and seems to have an error 404. and after that i have some extra css in my theme panel which says for all the td-rows load the fonts, so that i overwrite existing fonts , that maybe are initialized by default.

The post views will not increment in AMP. AMP loads the post or page through google and it does not register as a view on your site except if the user accesses the site directly and not through the AMP template. The theme views will not count AMP views.

If you decide to use it, be sure to use the latest version of the plugin provided in the latest theme package. There were some issues with it initially, they were all fixed and there are no more known issues.

how can I update a child theme? I thought it’s enough when I use an updated parent theme – there I use the current version.
If I deactivate the child theme, the AMP-version of tagDiv is still faulty. It seem that It display the standard header among other errors (like the amp-version will not open autmatically when you surf mobile).
I would be very happy if you help cause I will be in a few days in vacation and don’t want to lost my SEO-Ranking and also visitors.

You could use parts of a demo without installing it. Installing it means uninstalling the one you have installed.

All the font awesome icons show on the tagdiv builder and in preview but not on the live site.
I have cleared my browser cache & WP supecache’s cache, but that didn’t work. All I remember doing was activate slider revolution & wp bakery for some reason, but they are not deactivated.
Help me sort this out.

Hello Are you there. My website mobile views in AMP Version not counting. I checked in Google Analytics also. Visitors more than 200 per page but its showing 19.Open any of the page first in desktop count it and again open same page in mobile and count. Its not calculating. Update: I deactivate all plugins (except the AMP Plugin), clear the cache, but it still not working.
When I inspect the site it seems that it will be play out the false id’s and classes as it should.
The header is incorrect, the icons are missing, the more article section is faulty and the footer is also not correct. Also when you surf online you won’t be hand off to the amp version as it should.
Please can you help me to fix the problem. It already seems that I lost in Google Ranking.

Would you be able to suggest any good solution or approved plugin for “Polls” that is aligned with Newspaper theme’s color scheme ? We plan to conduct polls & surveys for our audience and gather their feedback.
We would like to launch simple polls section in the home and category pages (Sidebar) through adding widgets in Theme-Appearance, none of the wordpress plugins that we have tested are approved by you for Newspaper theme, nor do they qualify with the “Newspaper black” color scheme, unless we add custom CSS code and change formatting ourselves.

1) Is it possible to adjust the size of the “boxes” in the Big Grid elements? For example, if I use a 2 box grid, they are evenly spaced. Can I change one to be 75% and the other 25% of the width?

Hello; for the record, I did try searching for answer and attempted a few things after looking through the options but I can’t seem to find a coherent way to do this. Perhaps it’s something I’m overlooking and I’m making it harder than it needs to be. Or maybe the question I have is valid enough?
So. I was wondering, and/or hoping; is it possible to automatically set a default sidebar/widget depending on the author of the post/blog/article?
For example: Let’s pretend that ‘Author A’ and ‘Author B’ have two different custom sidebars. So when one of them posts a new blog or article, is it possible that the sidebar widget for a post/blog, by default is pendant on the author posting it?
How would I go about doing this?
