I have a page with the “tagDiv Mobile Theme” activated.

For the desktop version I have the following boxes after the article (post template):

Single post author box
inline text
raw html

For the desktop version everything is showing up as expected. However, for the mobile version inline text and raw html are not included in the source code at all.

How would you go about fixing this?

The information about the author you can set in WordPress -> Users -> Profile, for example, Biographical Info and contact info.

Hello,

If you use a Prebuilt Website Pro, you can delete the author box on the post edit with tagDiv Composer and with right-click remove the author box => https://www.screencast.com/t/P4UvjtlWnd or if use Prebuilt Website Standard you can disable from Theme Panel -> Post Settings => https://www.screencast.com/t/QHIxDNR8

The information inside comes from WordPress -> Users -> Profile.

Hi All,
I am having problems hiding the author box in the mobile theme settings.
If you visit https://businesscornwall.co.uk/news-by-industry/appointments/2021/02/new-ceo-at-frugi/ you will see the author at the bottom.
This does not appear on other posts or when viewing from a desktop browser.
Any help appreciated.

Hi
We use newspaper_magazine_pro/ theme.

Is there any method to exclude a category from displaying on the main group?
See here:
https://prnt.sc/xfr763

Here we don’t want to show the Authors category.. But, it is our latest posts…

An option/method to show only some selected categories on this box – anyway?

Thank you

Hello,

I think you have a Pro Prebuild Website, and you need to edit with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/9F4Rr1AfDku, and you can remove the Single Post Author Box and Single Post Share selecting with tagDiv Composer with a right click you can delete => https://www.screencast.com/t/qXVCHLn8agF , or selecting the element and with drag & drop place into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page => https://www.screencast.com/t/HvYLtBLm

Hope this helps you!

I have created a new post template for the opinion category, because I need this one, unlike the others, to show the author’s box in the post. I have the menu and the photo of post copied but I miss the part of the text, title, sidebar and everything that goes under this (related news, etc) except the footer that I already have it. Do you know how I can copy all this, to transfer it with the same format to the template I designed for the category of opinions.

The problem is that if I do it item by item, which is how I’ve done it so far, the margins are not respected and it comes out different. Look at those screeshots!

I would like the format to be in both cases like the one of the photos that there have green indications. Once i have that i will add the “author box” and because it will not be connected to all categories it will only be displayed in the opinion category.

How can we do that?

Hello. Thank you for your answer. I did already did this.
My problem (nearly solved) is that I am owning a “multi author” website and my authors don’t like the new editor (Gutenberg) so I use the old one.
But ! “Featured audio” box is not displaying with the old editor. Maybe you can fix this ?

Thank you.

How can I add for example an author box or eliminate the date post in just one category, without extrapolating the function to the other post and categories.

Thank you!

I have a black background on my desktop page, and apparently, on Andriod, the background is black on mobile. However, I’m my iPhone, even though I have dark mode on, the background remains white, even if I change it in the Theme Panel under Mobile Theme, it remains black text on a white background. Which is fine. However, the author box seems to still follow the desktop text colors and does white text on a white background. I can’t figure out how to fix it. I can change the color of the text for desktop, but no matter what I do, it won’t change on the iPhone mobile theme. GoingFor2.com is the website.

Hi,
according with istructions in this page(https://forum.tagdiv.com/author-card/) I’m using WP User Avatar to manage pictures associated to authors.

I associated the picture to the author (the plugin shortcode [avatar] works correctly) but Single Post Author Box doesn’t.

Thank you,
Enzo

Hello,

Unfortunately, we can’t provide support for Elementor, because this plugin has not been tested with our theme, therefore we don’t know how this is working and what options have.
We can provide support only for tested plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/ii1XzTZag527
With our theme, you can use Single Post Templates from tagDiv Cloud Library, and you can edit them with tagDiv Composer (remove/edit author box). Using Single Post Template you can set one of theme like Global and for posts that you want to be different, you can assign individual single post template.

Thank you!

How can I put a custom author box for each different post? For example, I want different authors for a different post, I don’t want the author box for some posts, so I have to disable the author box. Is it possible?
I am using Elementor for post designs.

I have installed the plugin WP User Avatar and have a user set up with an avatar image uploaded, as shown here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/xtm0babf3cxt4l5/WP%20User%20Avatar%201.png?dl=0

But when I view a page with this user’s author box live, I see the default image I uploaded, as shown here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wsjfqc9s9adgxyp/WP%20User%20Avatar%202.png?dl=0

Here are my current WP User Avatar settings, although I have tried numerous settings and everything seems to be correct from the plugin side as best as I can determine, so I suspect there’s something on the Newspaper theme side that is not displaying the avatars correctly.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/z2tbzu4lztuhyn2/WP%20User%20Avatar%203.png?dl=0

Please let me know if there’s any further information I can provide.

Hello team,

Clicking on the author’s name does not open the author box, it opens the homepage.

I’ve checked my Yoast SEO settings and it seems fine, so I don’t know what the problem is.

Can it be a mistake on my part in the configuration of the theme?

Hello,

Unfortunately, the theme doesn’t have this option for the author box.
This can be done only using custom code. For this, you need to edit the file from this path => wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single/tdb_single_author_box.php => https://i.imgur.com/l2PGKlc.png.

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

Hello,

You can change only the general accent color from Theme Panel -> Theme Colors => https://www.screencast.com/t/GFjgGed6F, or headers background color => https://www.screencast.com/t/BrQgwbNbqUiR.
For individuals element, you can do that with Custom CSS => https://www.screencast.com/t/2FGn3EjbK in Theme Panel-> Custom Code-> Custom CSS => https://www.screencast.com/t/7S0LOr0bhpJ. This is the code:

.td_block_related_posts .td-related-title .td-cur-simple-item{
background-color: red;
}
.single .td_block_template_1 .td-related-title {
border-color: red;
}

For hover color of the author’s box, you can do that with custom CSS, like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/DWjKYxq7FH2N, the custom code CSS you add like before.

.single .td_top_authors .td_mod_wrap:hover .td-authors-name a {
color: red;
}
.single .td_top_authors .td_mod_wrap:hover .td-author-post-count,
.single .td_top_authors .td_mod_wrap:hover .td-author-comments-count {
background-color: red;
}

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

Hello,

This option for author box momently isn’t done, but you can add the custom CSS to do the text-align to left, like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/aI0grCusdqH.

.td_block_author .td-author-description {
text-align: left;
}

The custom code CSS you can add in Theme Panel->Custom Code -> Custom CSS => https://www.screencast.com/t/tDNljSQi .

Hope that helps you!

Thank you!
