Unfortunately you can not set one of your category pages as homepage. You can create a page with the Visual composer elements that you want – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ and use that as homepage – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/ and then also control the content displayed in the grids and blocks using these settings – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

The category shown on modules and blocks is the primary category you set to your posts. If you do not set any primary category then the theme will choose the first alphabetical category name from the list of categories assigned to the post.

I would like to add “load more” button instead of “page number” on the bottom of my home page. I know it is possible to add such button to every other block content, but since the Latest Articles section is always on the bottom of the “Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination” template I don’t know how to manage it. I tried to change the template to some other but I had issues with smart sidebar – it didn’t work properly.

I’m having some difficulties with editing block headers colors – it looks like there is some kind of issue but I am not able to fix it myself. It’ll be easier to show you what I mean:
1) Here’s the block header template I chose:

It looks like the accent color is overiding block header settings. No matter what block header design I’ll choose it is always like that. You can see that the desired block header template is there but the blue background should’t. The only other way is when I choose transparent theme accent color – then it is looking ok on the post pages but every on hover state on the home page is transparent also – so it’s even worse.
I would be really grateful for helping me fix this issue.

Grid on my homepage takes too much time to bring images and blocks below it takes just as much, to show up themselves.
By the way speed tests suggests that theme has broken request, though I have done nothing to customise the original structure.

Hi, i got a question. My client always choose two categorys for his posts:
a) the town where the event has been (for example: New York, Los Angeles…)
b) The theme of the event (for example: Sports, Politics)
In the tags sometimes the town is shown and sometimes the theme.
The client says that this is very confused. Is it possible to establish one parent-category?

Hi, I just bought the theme. I’m happy with it, but I tought it was a little bit more flexible.
Right now I have some issues with the theme that I don’t know how to solve:
1. On posts header, the one I like the most is the number seven. The problem is the height is too high, the title is not centered and I would prefer it to be in the middle and not in the inferior part of the image.
2. The content of the posts is too wide witouth sidebar. I’m not going to use sidebar, so I would like the content to be more narrow, with a higher margin.
3. I would like to add a suscription form at the end of all the posts. The position should be just at the end, before the share buttons. Is there any way to do it automatically witout adding it manually in each post? Something like a widget a the end of the posts. I’m missing after posts widgets on this theme.
4. I would like to add something like a full width banner on the top of each post with a suscription form before the post image/title. Is there any way to do that?
5. I don’t see visual composer on posts, only on pages.
6. Images are not adapted to blocks or thumbnails and there is an ugly gray background. Do I always have to use specific featured image sizes depending on where they are going to be shown?

7. Using the ajax filter, when I use offset then the filters don’t work well. With many categorys they are not showing any article. I would like to use offset to avoid repeating posts on the same page, but some posts, even they were not shown before, they are not showing when you switch to a specific category. You may see that to the left side of the page there is an additional vertical line that looks to be a border. I have already set ‘no border’ for each block.
Inadvertently, it may also cause misalignment to my Block 2 and Block 6 settings.

When i edit a block or add widget ect ect from my desktop my changes does not show up when I check, ipad or mobile devices. What I am doing is logging into those devices and making the changes to each of them. For example. from my desktop I added a newsletter subscribe widget but the are not reflected on any of my mobile devices. I am doing testing at the moment to make sure everything is working well. When I go live i need to know that my visitors can see any changes too.
Please can you help because this is going to be a problem for me as I need to update my blog everyday and this will be lot of extra work. I would love to fix it asap.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to move the article bottom ad to be under the sharing bottom ad, sorry! What can you do is to hide or not use the article bottom ad and insert with the do_shortcode method an ad, which have to be placed under the sharing bottom ad? For example, if you are using the post template style 2, you should edit the loop-single-2.php core file and under the sharing bottom you should insert your desired ad, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Y5kJXj5sJ

You can change the color in the code to one that feels more appropriate. I added the exact same color from the top header blocks but it appears too bright compared to the dark blue of your footer background.

This can be done using the block settings so you can show exactly the categories you want on that page. The news ticker is a block element like any other. It does not ahve any special implementation. You can add it to a page using the add element button in visual composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/TdRllYJVE
None of the theme blocks have any functionality to add them across the whole website. This can be done if you want using a do_shortcode function by altering the theme files though if you have the proper coding skills.

Hi there! Let me first thank you for the great job with Newspaper 7, it’s awesome!
I have two minor issues regarding my block titles in the footer (my site is: http://www.psl.ucr.ac.cr):
1. I’ve put the Jetpack Facebook page plugin in the first of my three footer columns. Everything works OK, but in this only case, the block title for the widget changes color, from the standard yellow I’m using, to white. I need it to stay yellow. Have tried some custom coding, but haven’t been able to target it.
2. Also, my general block header template is set to “Header Template 8”, so it displays a light grey block line to the right of the title (see here: http://www.screencast.com/t/qEU1zXXwS). But in the titles of my three footer columns, this light grey block lines turns into an ugly blackish one. I need it to be the same light grey as everything else.

Yes, RuTube and another video from different channels on the site.
With Youtube the site shows well, but the other part of the video (50%) from other channels.
And why did the MobileTem ColorMag Pro show normally?
Installed temporarily “jetpack” “Mobile theme”, the video fits well on the phone and there are no errors https://search.google.com/search-console/mobile-friendly.
What do you advise me to do more? How do I put the code from google.com/adsense? To show in the “jetpack” “Mobile theme?
