Hello

If you are using the footer template default and if you want to change the post limit for your blocks, you should edit the td_footer_template_1.php like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qjef7VXToAU

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the message!

Hi,
Well the code is coming from somewhere external. The theme css comes from either style.css or demo.style.css. If a code shows the source of “index” that means it comes from your site somewhere wheter it;s a plugin or custom code. This code that breaks the css for the related articles block come from index: https://www.screencast.com/t/oYdnGgTOeOmG so it;s not the theme or the theme update. it;s another source coming from your site.
Thank you!

Alright, so if you go to this homepage of mine: http://ultimatehomelife.com/

In the first block where there are 7 boxes bundled together, a featured image for an article about dog barking should appear titled “Why Dogs Bark And How To Stop Your Dogs From Barking”. You’ll notice right away that the entire text on the featured image isn’t properly displayed.

If this image doesn’t appear there the first time you land on the homepage, refresh it one or a few times until it appears, because the homepage takes random posts from that category, so it may or may not appear the first time you land on the homepage. One or a few refreshes and you’ll see it.

Hello,

If it’s a block title, it cannot be translated as it has to be changed from the block itself. Depending on the sidebar it can be in 1 of 2 places. On a default wp sidebar you can change the block title like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/ZCi780OqG and if the sidebar is created directly on pages: https://www.screencast.com/t/LRu8Xckq
A custom block title cannot be translated but it can be edited on the block itself

Thank you!

Hi,

The easiest way of achieving this is to remove your article bottom ad and use a do_shortcode with a custom ad, by editing the corresponding loop-single file found in the theme folder – https://www.screencast.com/t/zO7NsDOfV3yw to your post template style used.
For example if you are using post template 3 you must edit loop-single-3.php Then in the loop single code – https://www.screencast.com/t/UzcBqq2O0hF insert the do shortcode provided below – https://www.screencast.com/t/IsVdYBV6b1 You can use any of the custom ads available – https://www.screencast.com/t/lfePgI8yj just remember to change the code accordingly

<?php echo do_shortcode('[td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"]');?>

Result is like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/aDiwWJkjJ

Thanks

Thanks a lot for your reply.
1. Unfortunately the first problem is not solved.
There is no option to change color for this widget block https://www.screencast.com/t/WTYogq16b
No custom code is used to change it.
At Theme Panel as widget header color is set to another color https://www.screencast.com/t/QrqCMFkXUj7
For other two footer widget header, the given color is displayed.
https://www.screencast.com/t/2WZRS30Annvp

2. With your help, the problem is solved. One more question related to that. Is it possible to insert external link to this text?

Thanking you for all your support

Hi Catalin

I have added but did not seem to work…

Same warning on PageSpeed about blocking CSS resources

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Hello,

Unfortunately there is no simple way of adding the article top ad above as you require it. You will have to use a custom ad placed in the theme files as the spot above the sharing and category tag is outside the main content. The article top ad is a content ad. It cannot show outside of the main content. Here is an example of how you can get an ad above the category tag.
You will have to edit each post template as each of the 12 post styles has it’s own file:
https://www.screencast.com/t/WSR6WEHU9
Use this code and place an ad in the theme panel-> custom ad 1 spot
<?php echo do_shortcode('[td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"]');?>

Thank you!

Hi,

Please make sure the thumbnails for the specific blocks are active in the theme panel: https://www.screencast.com/t/zsJ9U6uyKDf
and then use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/

Hi,

1. Try changing the colors to your footer block widgets again maybe the settings were reset – https://www.screencast.com/t/1B8glqQtZ or if you used any custom code to change them and the changes do not work anymore use the !important tag to force the code to apply. Also check the Theme panel->Theme fonts to see what setings are set for the widgets header color – https://www.screencast.com/t/ld2nMFokx

2. From what I can see that plugins title you have set inherits the post content heading title font and color – https://www.screencast.com/t/gLj9pr7ny set here – https://www.screencast.com/t/z4iV8VGlzQhttps://www.screencast.com/t/6hwMXL63v

Thanks

Just leave the blank space in the block name and it will not have a title.

Hi:

For my catogory pages, how can i prevent something that appears in the grid section at top from reappearing in on of the blocks below. My hope was that this could be done chronologically. So after we show the last 5 items in the grid then anything in the blocks below would just continue in descending order?

Does this have to be specified manually or is there a way to set up the page to do this dynamically?

Thanks!

Hello,
Will your team accept to assist with specific work for us on the newspaper 7 template for a fee?
We have a design to make the template match to, which can be as basic and re-arranging layouts/blocks/etc., but we don’t mind to pay to the people who have written the template rather than a 3rd party. The main goal is to be able to maintain the template for future updates/fixes/improvements while making these customizations.
We have a sample design but couldn’t find a confidential way to share it with you.

Thank you.

Hello,

In the mega menu, for some posts the category name is displayed and for some other posts the subcategory name is displayed.

We need to make them the same either category or subcategory for all posts.

The Same thing in Block of Articles we need to show category or subcategory not both of them at the same time.

Hi,

From what I can understand you want to set a widgetised sidebar in your page, that can be achieved by setting up your page structure like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/zOseFYDTg3 You can find more information about Visual composer here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ and a blocks tutorial here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

Please correct me if I misunderstand something
Thanks

Hi,

That solution applies for the theme’s blocks widgets but for the WordPress widgets you must change the tag in td_wp_booster_functions.php located in the theme folder->includes->wp_booster – https://www.screencast.com/t/snTCQZ17Kc

Thanks

Hello TheNetzwerker,

I have checked your website and I did not saw any problems with your Ads on your Widget. Everything seems to work as properly, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/UN68cytSw1 I do not exactly understand your request, sorry! So, please notice that if you will use the AdBlock, this will block your ads and that’s why these will not be displayed.

Thanks for the message!

Hello,

Our theme modules and blocks will ignore sticky posts. There is no way you can show sticky posts in blocks or grids. They will however show on loops meaning the category pages or blog roll page.

Thank you!
