Hello,
Our blocks can display a custom post type but you have no control over a custom taxonomy though. If you want to show a book post type in a block you can simply type in the book type like so: http://screencast.com/t/05CUStsO
If you used our plugin and created the td_book CPT, you can set it from the block settings to display on your homepage: Simply use the ID you gave your CPT (our plugin uses ‘td_book’)
Thank you!
Hello josoro,
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option that offers you a way to change the modules for Related Articles, sorry! Please notice that this type of feature has a default structure and this can not be changed from panel buy only from the code. From the panel, you can change only the count of columns, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/JQrMn0LFNdn and for more information about this feature, please check the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/related-articles/
Also, if you want to change the structure of Related Articles module, you will have to alter the code from the td_block_related_posts.php core file like this -> http://screencast.com/t/PNDNSsO27sSu
Please notice that is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Unfortunately our theme has no sch option. The social icons were not added as part of any block. It can be made custom using font awesome in a text block if you want this feature. You can use a standard text block and place custom links with some font icons from font awesome like the sharing options you mention. Pleas use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/font-awesome-4-menus/
Thank you!
Salut RaulCalin,
Hi
Theme’s blocks works fine only on columns marked with blue: http://screencast.com/t/0GbhLf3cmx5
Yes the difference between block 3 and block 5 is the size of feature image. The thumb used on block 5 it’s a bit bigger then the one used on block 3.
Thanks!
In the theme panel the option to hide the author’s name appears, but this option hides the blocks, categories and posts. I want to hide it from the blocks and categories but I want the author’s name appears in the post?
Hi,
I have placed the block 1 SHortcode via VC and it displayed correctly for few days .. What i mean by corectly is 1 big image on left and content.. with smaller images and content on right

I’d like to suggest that you add a print friendly button with your sharing blocks in a future revision. I use the Add to Any Share plugin. It works fine but would look a lot better if the print Icon were in the same locations as your sharing buttons.
Love the theme and the support. Thanks.
Hi there!
I’m trying to configure my page with VC and currently struggling with a little problem.
I want to display the Apple & Android section side by side right after Block 1.
I do not want to use Tabs because they are deprecated.
Is there a simple solution to solve this problem?
I tried to change the layout containing Block 1 to the three column section but then also the Block 1 is separated which is not wanted.
Greetings from Austria,
Fabian
You need to specify each category in the editor for each ‘block/module’ on your home page in the visual editor on the ‘page’ you have created.
To tune your site, you need to do a number of things
a) increase default memory for WordPress in your wp-config file
b) make sure your hosting setup is optimized (gzip/deflate on?)
c) put proper directives in your htaccess file (for Apache; sligtly diff. for Nginx)
d) optimize images
e) tune your site with ads off
f) consider using caching AFTER you have everything else sorted
You can test your site speed and recommended fixes at gtmetrix.com for free.

I know what you mean about finding that perfect implementation. Take a look at the post grid that comes with VC. That thing is pretty flexible, and I think that by implementing that both for the post type for display, as well as the filters, that you’d have not only a good implementation but one that follows a standard to some degree.
Incidentally, here’s the only code I could come up with to make this work. It is only OK on my site because my home page block 14’s are all dog post types and don’t need the filters because i am filtering to a specific listing-type taxonomy.
// ---------------------------- FILTER HOME PAGE QUERIES FOR DOG LISTINGS!
function home_dog_queries( $query ) {
if ( $query->is_home() ) {
$pt = $query->get( 'post_type' );
if ( is_array ( $pt ) ) {
if ( in_array( 'dog', $pt ) && count( $pt ) == 2 ) {
//echo 'POSTTYPE';
//print_r( $pt );
$query->set( 'tax_query', array(
array(
'taxonomy' => 'listing-type',
'field' => 'slug',
'terms' => $pt[1],
)
) );
}
}
}
}
add_action( 'pre_get_posts', 'home_dog_queries', 1 );
In the post type, I had to list the CPT and tax value to filter in the CPT field e.g. dog, german-shepherds. Kinda crazy but worked. I originally tried putting the tax value german-shepherd into the taxonomy tag filter value, but apparently your code first checks to see if that filter yields any results somehow before it issues a standard query.
Hi there –
I would like to know if / how I can make the block titles clickable? We would like our readers to be able to go to the category page where they can see the full list of posts for that category. Is this doable?
Thanks,
Mike
Hi,
I found a bug. If I add a block on Newspaper default sidebar and then I change the sidebar on Newspaper options blog and posts template (CUSTOM SIDEBAR + POSITION) the block I added on Newspaper default is deleted.
Steps to reproduce this:
1) Add a block on Newspaper default sidebar
2) Go to Newspaper options and set a different sidebar on blog and posts template
3) Check widgets page. You’ll see the block on the default sidebar has disappeared.
a) note the tagdiv business hours, top right of forum.
b) Might just be your home page layout,
this page shows as mobile friendly
http://top10reviewz.in/prize-money-gifts-p-v-sindhu/
However you need to pay attention to the errors presented:
* This page uses 2 resources which are blocked by robots.txt.
* A temporary error occurred. 2 resources on this page could not be loaded. The results and screenshot may be incorrect. You may want to try again later.
https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/…mMhp4i.css
https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/…dQgHfSn.js
c) generally to make your site ‘mobile friendly’ you need to ALSO optimized your server for speed and proper server setup, compression, time to live, etc., optimize images, etc.
For example, I tested your page here:
https://gtmetrix.com/reports/top10reviewz.in/2UlrZtmY
Page Load Time
15.9s
Total Page Size
4.05MB
Requests
212
————-
For optimum page, you should serve less than 50 requests, page size should be under 1MB, 2MB for a photo site perhaps with a lot of uncompressed images, and page load should be as close to 1 second as possible, and not more than 4 seconds.
You have a lot of work to do to optimize your website.
Good luck!
howdy
I must to tell that apart your wonderful theme you have also an excellent client support
Everything I ask you worked as I want it. Thanks a lot.
I have an observation about on mobile site. The structure of the main page on Visual composer start with a main block with sidebar with widgets (issue link, socials etc) and then follow another 2 block with news without sidebar.
On the mobiles site I would like to send the sidebar widget after the second block of news or at the end of the page.
Also other observation about the main menu, the second line of category doesn’t fill up as are just 3, and I would like to align centered if is possible.
Thanks in advance for your support
Best Regards Fabien D
Hi Bogdan!
Thanks for the CSS and your speedy reply.
That did the job.
I wasn’t aware that the comment “pointer” is a pseudo-element that uses border color. You can ignore my note about a folder…I thought perhaps the pointer was made using a small triangular image. 😉
I have another question regarding the category background color. Is it okay to ask here? I’ll ask it here now…if I don’t get an answer, I’ll move it to new post. 😉
.td-post-category{
background-color:Red;
}
I have noticed that the above CSS works on the category background color for the home page blocks and sidebar blocks, but the CSS doesn’t work for the category background color of a single entry/post template.
BTW: I am using the post template (Style 9) for my posts. The category background color is black. I’d like to change it to red.
I looked up the single entry/post template category CSS name in Firebug Inspector. I believe it is called, “entry-category”. I edited this CSS element exactly like the style above, but The category background color is still coming up black after the edit.
Could you please tell me how to change the category background color the entry/post templates?
Thanks!
Dobar Dan and Cheers!

good idea to learn to use Chrome web browser and the F12 inspector. You can highlight any CSS element on page to find it, then add custom CSS over-ride to your panel CSS box, or often at bottom of your style.css file.
SO, for example on your page:
.block-title > span, .block-title > a, .block-title > label, .widgettitle, .widgettitle:after, .td-trending-now-title, .td-trending-now-wrapper:hover .td-trending-now-title, .wpb_tabs li.ui-tabs-active a, .wpb_tabs li:hover a, .td-related-title .td-cur-simple-item, .woocommerce .product .products h2, .td-subcat-filter .td-subcat-dropdown:hover .td-subcat-more {
background-color: #4db2ec;
}
so, just an example you might “try” something like this:
.widgettitle, span {background-color: #990000}
or
.widget, .widgettitle, span {background-color: #990000}
or something like that.
Remember TagDiv support only open M-F during their local business hours, closed weekends. Might be the weekend “now” in their timezone.
But experiment with the above. You can also simply edit the style.css file at line 11045.
Note that the widget is a default widget from WordPress, and *not* the theme, hence no admin panel settings on that element.
Sorry if that isn’t exact CSS to use; just pointing you in right direction. 🙂
(I don’t work here.)

Hi
is there a way to re-use social icons that you are rendering in footer and top menu? re-use like having some sort of block, visual composer element, shortcode that will make it happen – will render these social icons?
Cheers
Hi,
I need to know how can I change the modules of the Related Post at the bottom of the Posts
(http://tvendord.com/hoy/2016/08/17/fijan-fecha-de-inicio-de-juicio-contra-modelo-tica/)
to block 21 appearence (like the right module of first section of the home http://tvendord.com/hoy/) and how to make the same change in the modules of any sidebar.
Thanks a lot!
Block 5 images are bigger?
also … whats the difference between Blocks 3 and 5?
I would like to put the Block 13 in one column next to each other. Much like you have in the demo here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByYKnygx9BswUUQwMndhbDVWUFk/view?usp=drivesdk
but the 2 column option isn’t in blue …
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByYKnygx9BswNVZxOTVoaVJ3akk/view?usp=drivesdk
So I shouldn’t use a column that isn’t in blue … correct?
Hey, I figured it out. 🙂 Thanks, though.
In case this is useful to anyone else:
It only happened on pages where I had custom blocks made via the TD API. In my custom blocks I had copied my td_block_## base… and I had also copied the render function. So when TD updated the td_block->render method for their blocks, my old implementation remained. (It was the Ajax pull down filter in that implementation that was generating console errors.)
The fix was to extend the td_block_## base properly, and not override render, so that it stays updated with the theme’s implementation. (Or if it is overridden, make sure to copy the new implementation when the theme is updated!)
