Hi,
Unfortunately theme doesn’t have an option to use a different sidebar on mobile view, but you can try to hide some blocks from the main content(if you refer to this) for mobile view so the sidebar will appear slightly above.
I don’t understand exactly what you mean with “to show 5-6 articles..” …. on sidebar or main content?
Please provide a link and screenshot to see what you want to hide on mobile screen.

Just recently my girlfriend bought the Newspaper theme. I made a front page for her with two columns, Revolution slider version 4.6.5 and block 8 on the leftside 2/3 column size and block 7 and block 8 on the rightside 1/3 column size. Everything worked nicely for some weeks until today when she was publishing a new post. The two columns lost all space inbetween them and all excerpts showed in bold letters. I changed out the revolution slider with the standard slider and all went back to normal. What is the problem? Am I being hacked or is there an conflict with the revolution slider 4.6.5?

Newsmag theme was designed in 3 columns fixed grid, so the blocks are recommended to be used 1/1 – 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3, or 2/3 + 1/3 like you can also see in backend when you split the row(are colored blue): http://screencast.com/t/ApuMgUzYb2vH

You can use blocks on 1/4 + 1/2 + 1/4 but not all will work fine. Also you can try to use css if you really need to use block like that. For example block 4 – http://screencast.com/t/gGHvXTfN4 add an extra class to the column – http://screencast.com/t/BLLog8BFN1 and add css code in Theme Panel > Custom css: http://screencast.com/t/GpMSJsiC9U

If I’m not mistaken, it looks like he’s wanting a block to show related posts on single.php based on the tags of the single post. The only way I can see doing this with NewsMag is through the standard related posts block at content end and set it to use tags in the settings panel. No option for a sidebar block to work like this that I’m aware of.
Now I can’t even disable plugins to log into Admin – i am getting these errors

struggling for this to work in newsmag I found two alternatives I would like to share:
1. Do the same as this,
but add one item to the array named ‘installed_post_types’ with the post-types needed:
‘installed_post_types’=>’post,page’
This approach has the disadvantage of touching the theme source code.
2. This is kind of tricky: create a child-theme and a new folder named ‘override’ or whatever. Copy td_block_mega_menu.php to that folder (Note that this file is internal and is not overriden by the general child theme method described in the documentation). In that copy, change render method to add ‘installed_post_types’ to the array before performing the query as in the previous paragraph.
Now, in your functions.php create a hook for ‘after_setup_theme’. This will be get called after parent newsmag/newspaper theme is finished.
Then you will have to change the api file for the megamenu block, invoking td_api_block::update_key (‘td_block_mega_menu’,’file’,FULLPATHTOMYNEWFILE);
Now when a megamenu is to be created, the overriden file is chosen instead of the core one.
This method is valid for updating some api blocks and files without touching parent theme.
P.D. Forgot to mention, first of all you should add category taxonomy to pages, using a plugin or in child-theme with register_taxonomy_for_object_type

Unfortunately that is the only layout available at the moment for the big grid block and to get more or change it you would need custom changes to it and it would not be an easy job.
We had other request of like this regarding the big grid and we will consider this and add more layouts but this will only happen in future updates.
You could achieve something similar though using block 14 at full width of the page: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/block-14/

In fact, or the block exceeds the size available to and invades another column (for example the block 13), or moves forward a little white space (for example, using the block 4 set with the display of a single post). It seems that the blocks are only made for the size 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3, or 2/3 + 1/3. Even if I change for individual blocks, the number of posts to display, the result does not change, and the blocks do not scale based on the space to be occupied. How can I fix?

I’m having an issue on our website in that when we click the ‘load more’ link, there are duplicate (repeated) posts. So, if I click load more two or three times, I start to see the same posts I saw on the first page.
