Hello !
Please make sure that you have set the thumb for block 1 also in Theme Panel – Block Settings – Thumbs on Modules/Blocks. The size you need is 100×70.
I hope this was helpful !
Thank you !
Hi, I’d like to remove the author in both of these places: https://i.imgur.com/06pmgBC.png (the entire box below, and the author name and picture up top)
As well as the date here: https://i.imgur.com/SWSb69c.png
Basically I do not want an author or date on any of the posts.
I’ve tried searching before I posted this but I have not found anything.
Here are my current settings:

Please help!
Hi there,
Website: 90sfashion.com
In the footer of the website I want to remove the “Blocks” section but don’t know how? Attached image for reference.
how to put
google ads between the article list in block âŠâŠmake it like a article showedâŠ..
After much reading I can’t believe that Cloud Templates for single posts can’t support dynamic sidebars in the way Standard Templates can. This means editors would need to stipulate a custom cloud template for every article they produce.
My workaround has been to define a custom module and block using the API Plugin which I can use in TD Composer to drop in a dynamic sidebar. The module I’ve added simply places <?php get_sidebar(”);> as a td composer block.
Not being able to have dynamic sidebar content on custom cloud templates is a big oversight in my opinion…
Hi,
it is possible to automatically exclude from the cover the entries that were already listed in other blocks.
On the home page I would like to show the news by categories in different blocks, but at the end of the page there is a block with more news that lists all the entries in chronological order without category filter but does not repeat the entries that were already listed with Previously in other blocks.
Hello !
Please make sure that you include your post type name in the Filter section in the blocks as you can see here: https://prnt.sc/qiwr83 You can see the correct names of your post types here: https://prnt.sc/qiwrhe
I hope this was helpful !

Hi,
On block 5 you can change for the post title only the hover color -> https://i.imgur.com/P0aMNvs.png if you want to have more control over the blocks layout, you can try some flex blocks -> https://i.imgur.com/XGieuxV.png -> https://i.imgur.com/M3sskVn.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
If you want to take a look to the Big Grid Flex 6 class/php file you can find it on this path -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_block_big_grid_flex_6.php and also check this file -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/td_config.php -> https://i.imgur.com/Km9UJiY.png
Hope this will help you!

Hi,
So you can set the logo between the menu and search in this way:
set a row with this layout -> https://i.imgur.com/ljuDTwu.png after that set in each empty column one element, menu, logo and search, it will look like this -> https://i.imgur.com/Uk3ZFLR.png after that you’ll need to set on each column the width and make it inline block like this -> https://i.imgur.com/gZWoxx2.png -> https://i.imgur.com/CbCVgmr.png -> https://i.imgur.com/LSy1j7h.png after that set on each column vertical align -> https://i.imgur.com/V9hfbGS.png after that click on the row, go in css tab and set padding to 16px and padding bottom 32px -> https://i.imgur.com/XlYeajy.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
If you want to have more control over the blocks element please try the flex blocks -> https://i.imgur.com/K2QbvWS.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/oUP911r.jpg

Hi,
In the latest version is possible to be some problems between tagDiv Composer and WPBakery, please deactivate the WPBakery plugin and try again.
1) if you want to have more control over the blocks layout, then you can try the flex block -> https://i.imgur.com/6DftZdi.jpg -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
2) Using tagDiv Composer on Newsmag theme you can not set 1/4, 2/4, 1/4 you can achieve only 1/3, 2/3
Thank you!
Hi,
1. If I’m right you have set on the post the post template 4 and you have activate the mobile theme plugin, this have a different layout, if you want to have the one from post style 4 you can disable the mobile theme plugin, indeed you can use custom css to achieve the similar, but you need to customize a lots of elements and this is not quite indicate.
2. You can try to regenerate the thumbs, please check our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
3. Unfortunately we did not tested the aps-product plugin and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with our theme, sorry! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins, all I can do is to take a look to the problem and make some suggestions, but for this I need a link to inspect the problem.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello !
With standard pack disabled indeed there are fewer blocks in the main tagDiv Composer elements list but please note the Cloud elements now available where you can find more than 200 type of blocks available as you can see them here: https://www.screencast.com/t/dwPlirw9Ga5w
I hope this was helpful !
Thank you !
Hi,
Please activate the thumbs with 741×486 size from theme panel to display the images, also is possible to need to regenerate the thumbs https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-theme-thumbs/ -> https://i.imgur.com/HjIQoh6.png -> https://i.imgur.com/eZfgI1G.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Thank you!
can someone tell me how i can change how many stories post to ‘latest articles?’ i have the most trouble navigating that section right before the footer on the page because it’s not part of any module/blocks when i edit in tagdiv composer. i’ve figured out (kind of) how to change the columns in the sidebar widget that is “most commented” and “categories” on the demo. but mainly, i have no clue how to operate most of this stuff. i feel like i chose the least intuitive site builder possible for a novice.
Hi
I have two issues that I would like your help on:
1) when I’m setting up the front page I would like to control how many columns the blocks of content show. For instance, I would like the block 4 to be a full width block that with two columns. When I set it up, the blocks typically show 3 columns of content when they are on a full width page.
Where can I control the number of columns?
2) On the front page, I would like to have a row that is divided 1/4, 2/4, 1/4. I can’t find that selection in the TAGDIV composer and in the WPBakery I can find it but it does not show correctly?
Is it possible to make that division of a row?
On one of my other sites, I use an older version of Newsmag that does not use the TAGDIV composer and here I can do the above things very easily.
Thanks!
Hello,
On https://schoonmaakjournaal.nl we use flexblock 1 elements, and as you can see on the top right image (the cleaners), the image looks great.
On all other pages and posts we use a Block 1 element in a widget there – and then that same image loses sharpness, and looks somewhat blurier. For instance here:
https://schoonmaakjournaal.nl/premium/365cleanit-we-zijn-specialist-in-flexibel-en-goed-werkgeverschap/
What is happening here? Can it be corrected somehow?
Have a great New Year’s Eve and 2020!
Martin.
Hi,
Liking very much what I see in the videos, bought the newspaper pack and installed into wordpress.com
However, I only get to see parts and slightly different than what appears in the videos.
I do not get the tagdiv ‘blue logo’ in my pages/posts to be able to open it… It just gives the page or post without the clickable blue tagdiv button:
https://snipboard.io/2B9hJH.jpg
as an example whilst opening a new page in wordpress
I do have the https://snipboard.io/LpiMzr.jpg
on the customize part in wordpress.com
You see the panel is there, but how to get all of this like in the video and be able to change directly frontend into pages?
https://snipboard.io/3uDTtV.jpg
Furthermore, I uploaded the crypto-theme specifically…
1. I noticed a difference between the pro-themes and one like the crypto one. Is pro more comfortable to work with? Because it seems difficult to make changes, though it looks simple on the presentation videos. Are there in detail videos how to work with this. Like really step by step guides?
2. Is it more wise to build from scratch? Or do you have advice how to go a about as a novice? (Well, I worked on Weebly. So I know a tiny bit of HTML… And I know basics of design in such an environment. But very new to WordPress…
To give you an example: I installed the crypto plugin. But then to get the color of the background in that block identical to the moving banner, I would need the exact same color reference number. That’s like looking into a haystack: Either find it in the Theme Panel, of which I am still discovering all the different usages and possibilities. Either find it in the code. Look at the following page, which is almost Chinese:
https://snipboard.io/fdu52k.jpg
Even placing the banner was almost a gamble, the: [ccpw id=”348″] Because there is little text there. Probably referring to the theme editor & how you built the theme and how it works.
I installed all basic plugins. No WPBakery. Yes TagDiv Composer, Yes Cloud Library and so on:
https://snipboard.io/KuZGIy.jpg
AS WELL AS THE STANDARD PACK PLUGIN!!!! is ACTIVATED FOR NOW
Strange however I could not do it directly through this page https://snipboard.io/ov6tXs.jpg
In your intro it says how it should work through here through a single click, which it didn’t/doesn’t. It still keeps showing ‘OUTDATED’ for all there mentioned plugins. Odd.
SO somehow I don’t get this view: https://snipboard.io/hUufoO.jpg
From your page here: https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/ tagdiv-composer-builder-basics
I also do not notice any ADD ELEMENT BUTTON as advertised on above-mentioned page: https://snipboard.io/uIZbwh.jpg
And of course I am looking for full functionality as seen in your example videos. Wondering what I am doing wrong? Please advice me how to get going!
One more thing:
Here it says “USE THE STANDARD PACK”
https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-update-standard-pack-or-tagdiv-cloud-templates/
Then it says “Deactivate Standard Pack for blazing fast-websites”, so when do you use it? When do you de-activate it? Kind of confusing as a newbie: to see that all in one page, use don’t use đ
Wishing you and your team a wonderful New Year!!!
Kind regards,
Erwin Vanmassenhove
Hi,
For the “Column text” extended shortcodes block in tagDiv Composer, it seems only the MCE editor is available even when Gutenberg is enabled. Will this block be updated to open in Gutenberg?
@jasiu1324 I figured out the issue!
I was editing my single cloud post template and I wanted to duplicate a section of the sidebar. When I duplicated that sidebar section, it actually copied the entire row (including the main portion of the page), and so it duplicated the comments section. That’s what caused the posts page to try to call the tdb_comment() function twice, which caused the error.
Check your cloud template and make sure you haven’t duplicated the comment block!
I’m also seeing this text inserted in the actual dashboard, when I click into posts (Posts > All Posts) right above the All Posts section

So I decided to take some time to try and make use of latest updates by Deactivating the Standard Pack.
I see that I’m not able to include my custom post type within the blocks now. Whereas I WAS able to with the Standard Pack enabled.
Is this to be expected? Or is there a way for me to get around that problem?
i asked this off another thread 2 days ago and didn’t get any response, so i thought maybe i should start a new thread with my question… It is as follows:
Is it possible to edit the code behind one of the grid layouts? For example, Big Grid Flex 6 â I want to change some of the smaller images to no longer use a category, but to show a random quote/image. I have this functionality, both as a third party plugin, and as a custom PHP page I wrote (I am a programmer)⊠I donât see how the TD composer can let me change a block in the grid to a 3rd party shortcode, but if I could locate the exact PHP page that writes the grid out, I could figure it out on my ownâŠ
I’m trying to change the color of my titles and categories. I swear I saw it before, but not sure what block was used. Where in the properties (Elements) can I change those colors?
