I could give you a code solution to force the modules to display differently. But please note that this is not how the theme elements should be used. That slide is not the default big grid slide available in the theme.
Also note that all blocks, grids, slides etc are predefined, have preset design values. Altering these could break theme and cause them to not display properly.
In this case a code like this could produce the result you want

When using the smart lists 1-5 (which have no specific ad block defined in the theme panel) is there a options-panel way to include an adblock? Ideally, it would be the exact same (if not the same) block as the ones used for regular article.
For example; We’d like the “Above Article” adblock to be displayed above smart lists 1-5 which don’t seem to possess any native advertising such as the other smart list styles.
We’d love to know if this is an easy option.

This issue is on our list, it will be fixed in the next theme update. It is happening when the respective block is placed in one column only, like a sidebar. Sorry for this inconvenience.
As a quick fix in the meantime, you could modify the font size with a code like this

Is there anyway I can change it in the functions.php file or something like that? Pictures need to be a central part of my site and this cropping is not really fitting. Other block’s don’t work in my design.
I did install the business demo but it didn’t create all the same blocks etc for the home page.
When you install a demo without the content should it create the blocks, rows and columns on the home page automatically?

your theme (newspaper) is awesome and I’m very happy I’ve purchased it. But I have a problem with the composer.
Usually I use qtranslateX for my sites and I’ve noticed that after activating qtranslate, the composer is not fully working anymore. I can’t save or delete a block.
so when i’m trying to drag a block into the red rectangle or clicking on the delete icon, nothing happens. even when I click on the X to close the composer, nothing happens.
the error in the console seems to be: “TypeError: e is undefined” in load-scripts.php:609:1538
now, i understand that the theme is compatible with WPML but I use qtranslate only for translating post titles and content (which works fine btw), so what i’d like is to get this error removed when qtranslate is enabled.
is this possible? can you guys do that?

I have just purchased the “Newspaper” theme and I have tried to install it via wordpress, as you guys have stated in the online instructions.
I received the following message: “Security Alert. The file you are uploading was rejected by the server. It probably contains viruses or trojans that can damage your website. Do not attempt to upload it again as your IP address may be blocked.”
I then tried the other method which was to upload the newspaper.zip file via FTP. I did so, but when I logged into my wordpress site again, it does not show up under themes therefore there isn’t any way for me to activate it.

I have inspected your website and I saw that your hover to your block titles is white. If you want to change this effect, you should use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.

I want to reduce the size of the font in a block 21.
This block 21 is in the sidebar of the HP (https://i.imgur.com/k1AOtxK.png).
I had a look at this page https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-blocks-modules/ where I see that block 21 = module 16
So I went into Theme panel > Theme fonts > Modules and blocks – article title
At the line Module 16, I change the size (tried 5 and also tried 15) but nothing changes on my block 21
Am I missing something…?

I just updated the newspaper theme from an older version 7.4 to the latest one, I created a new folder for that with a different name (newspaper1) and uploaded the new theme there, then activated. All good expect when I checked the website on my mobile I got this error right below the main menu and blocks are not showing :

Desktop version works fine.
I tried to disactivate the tag div composer plugin but the error is still there.

I am using block 1 and I am entering category IDs 65,66,68 into the Multiple categories filter but there are no changes. It is still only showing all of the categories and not the specific ones I entered. The instructions say set the Category filter to default which seems to be -all categories-. Can you help me resolve this issue?

It could be changed with some CSS if needed, a theme option dedicated for this is not available.
This code will modify the margin in every location a paragraph is used

The center-top cropping is considered the best in general, that is why it was decided to use it. This functionality cannot be changed by a theme setting. Each module is different, you could experiment with other blocks and grids, the results may be different
