The theme comes with two preset default Google Fonts: Open Sans and Roboto. For the elements which are not defined we added a general font family on the body and paragraph(p) tags: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;

Is there a way to change this 3 tipography in a global way?
I want a Default Font replacing Open Sans, Roboto and Verdana for another font.

I know I can use the Theme Panel > Theme Fonts option, but there are a ton of options, I just want to know is there is a easiest way to apply this in a global way.

Thanks.

This is the problem. Where is the SAVE button?
When I put the text, nothing showing.

It seems the message appears along with the block “text with title”. The thing is I just need the custom title and it was working great before I updated the theme… this message wasn’t showing before that. I understand the solution is to add a text but I don’t need a text right after the title, so I really need to remove this message ():)

Thanks for your response. Regarding the block titles I need to know how to change the TITLE of them. From Fashion Week to Gadget World, etc. I want them labels to change. Thanks.

I can create a new page, but I can’t get the blocks of coding to add properly as it does in your videos you showed in how to do it. Help please for a newbie? Yes…I watched videos and read through forum, but I don’t see any type of step by step here’s how to do it process anywhere, and I can’t replicate anything at all.
Thank you!

Hi,

You would have to make the change you need in the module file that you mention, after the excerpt section
https://www.screencast.com/t/jaUoVMNXU
Modules are not supposed to display other elements besides the default ones, so this may not work properly.
Blocks and modules can be customized through a child theme, so you do not loose the modifications when the theme is updated
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

Thanks

Hi there, i hope that you are well. I created 3 Adsense ads, copied the provided codes and pasted them in Header, Sidebar and Custom blocks however, they are not showing up.

Is there a reason or something I am missing?

Hi there, thanks for the response. I see that the suggestions in the topic are regarding “Chinese symbols”. I just want the images to fit the blocks. You can see the issue in the linked image here, https://ibb.co/bUhc25.

Hi,

We are using Block 18 on our new designed website. http://startupdostu.com
We have some custom Tag Taxonomies for our posts and if those custom tag taxonomies are not empty then we want to show those tags at the end of Module 10 Excerpts. Probably we need to change the source code or create a new copy of Block 18 with different name using also a different custom copy of Module 10. But we don’t know how to do this? Could you please show us the way to do this?

thank you very much.

Hi,

A code like this will provide the result you want, even the font color (you can remove that if not needed)
https://www.screencast.com/t/Kb1rNlDHBaEK

.td_block_author .td-author-description {
font-family: avenir-light;
font-size: 12pt;
line-height: 26px;
color: #222;
}

Thanks

Hello yano,

I am sorry for this inconvenience but please notice that our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to display any social sharing buttons inside the blocks, sorry! If you want to add some code inside the block’s elements, notice that you should edit the theme core files which creates the blocks/modules and add there as you wish but please notice that task involve more custom work and we cannot provide this type of services at the moment, sorry! If you want to develop our theme in this case and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer or developer to help you!

Thanks for the message!

Hello,

The demo content should not be edited. Pages, categories and posts that come with the demo are not to be used as your own content because they get removed when switching demos or uninstalling the demo. Even if you edit the content, it will still get removed so it is recommended to create your own pages, categories and posts from scratch.
Please use this guide to learn how to edit the pages: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
This guide should help with the settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-block-settings-tutorial/

Thank you!

Hello ascendo0875,

Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you mean, sorry! You are referring to these categories from the top of the block, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/9xKwdZVg1Dm Notice that our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to change the order of these categories because these are taken in alphabetical order.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

If that is what you want, you could try a code like this one for example, it will change the the block-quote paragraph to capitalized (or how you want it to display)
https://www.screencast.com/t/ee6FFq13eT
Or maybe normal text
https://www.screencast.com/t/Rc9cpScMoYuv

The code must be entered in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS in order to be applied only on mobile, when using the mobile theme plugin

.td-post-content blockquote p {
text-transform: none;
}

Please correct me if I misunderstand what you wanted.

Thanks

Hi,

Could i add some css code with the aid of the tagdiv composer or visual composer to make that the post-date and post-autor is not shown on a specific block?

Many thanks,

Hello Colleric,

If you want to add some ads in your categories pages you should edit the theme core files and add it to the code, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/advertising-block-in-category-page/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

If you registered a custom block, it will not have a fonts section automatically created in the theme panel. For that you will require extra code modification.
it will be simpler to change them with css for your custom block.

Thanks

Hi,

First of all please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Then deactivate all other plugins except the ones provided with the theme (install the latest version of the plugins from the theme package) and clear any caching installed.
Then create a new page and try to edit it with the tagDiv composer. Do not edit page previously created with the Visual composer. If you installed a demo, use tagDiv composer to edit the homepage. Open the page and make the modifications you want.
Here is a guide that will be helpful to understand how you can modify the elements on the page using the composer
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Also a tutorial about the block settings and options
https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
Please let us know if you still have problems using this page editor.

Hello Torasko,

Try to use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS.

The code is ->

@media (max-width:767px){
.td_block_related_posts{
display:none;
}
}

Thanks.

Hi,

Maybe the category tag is not enabled for that module, if it is not displaying standard categories
https://forum.tagdiv.com/category-tag-on-modulesblocks/
You could try setting a primary category for the posts, in order to control the category tag that is displayed on the module
https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/

Thanks

Hello Scumbag,

If you want to change the style for your all block titles, notice that you can use a bit of CSS code to do this. For example, try the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area and check the results.

The code is ->

.block-title span{
background-color:red!important;
color:black;
}

Regarding on mobile main menu, notice that it cannot be different than the main menu on the desktop, sorry! If you want to add some links only for the mobile menu, you should implement it yourself through the code because the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to do this, sorry!

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

You can choose from a big number of blocks, each with a different design and look
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
And choose from the unique theme demos, which are custom made
https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper
I could give you a code to have a border for the modules on your page, and some similar padding like the site you mention
https://www.screencast.com/t/6EAYuXoEdwz
You could also control and limit the length of the article title and excerpt so the modules would be more similar
https://www.screencast.com/t/gTGbwRzh1DZm
You can enable the category tag on the module, and maybe than author name and date as well
https://www.screencast.com/t/MkdO1wCL61
https://www.screencast.com/t/UQnScBe6
This is the code if you decide to use it, enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS

.td_module_2 {
border: 1px solid #E3E3E3;
}
.td_module_2.td_module_wrap .entry-title,
.td_module_2 .td-excerpt {
padding: 15px 16px;
}

If you want to further customize the module, you could use the browser inspector to identify the elements and classes used, in order to create custom code
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

Thanks

Thanks…I’d like to make the font styling of the author box match the text in the “Our Story” block above it, as seen here…http://e50.4da.myftpupload.com/about/.

The code for that “Our Story” block reads: <p style=”text-align: center;><span style=”font-size: 12pt;”><span style=”font-family: avenir-light;”>

You can find the code class for most stuff using the console in Chrome, use the inspector to look at the actual element.

If you need help with changing the blockquote, you should open new topic, or search forum from last 4 years on same issue. As it’s not related to the topic of the bullet points class.

e.g.,

.post blockquote p, .page blockquote p, .td-post-text-content blockquote
