Hi
I am trying to use your clould templates with ACF fields.
It is working fine for most of my items.
But i cannot have shortcode displaying content on front page.
I have an ACF field “text” which is filled with a shortcode ( for instance [njt-gpr location=”Les Maisons Cléroises” place_id=”ChIJxagbP4Pc4EcRYUE45su72Rw” review_filter=”4″ review_limit=”20″review_characters=”220″ column=”1″ btn_write=”Laisser un avis” show_write_btn=”yes” business_website=”1″ business_phone=”1″ cache=”None” ]) which is set to display google reviews on a page.

Problem is that it displays the text of th shortcode.
And i cannot select an ACF field like embed or WYSWIG.
If i use elemento pro, i can make it work but the TAgdiv composer wont work.

How can i do ?

Thanks

ver=3.2 seems to be related to the version number of the style.css sheet rather than a cache: https://i.imgur.com/FzlXHGw.png

I’ve tried clearing every cache I have access too and can’t get any changes to stick.

Hi Bettina,

Thank you for your message and link. As far as I can see from the link you provided, all recommended configurations are being met. As far as the CDN and caching recommendation, I am using a CDN and plugin for caching SiteGround’s “SuperCacher.”

The only issue I am having is with Composer. Everything else seems to be working well.

I thought maybe the pages I was working on were somehow corrupted, but I am still experiencing major lag even when I used a prebuilt page imported from “Cloud Templates.” I attached a new recording below.

Screenshot to System Status

Screenshot to Server Details

Thank you for your time and attention.

Hello @Regiane100!

I do not recommend to use an object cache.

Thank you!

if you edit it and not being served latest version, will be caching issue… you can try hard cache clear in chrome.

ftp still best way as you know for sure latest version on server. ver=3.2 is not part of filename but caching control.

However WP super cache and optmize are installed and following the configuration of the theme document. What should I do?

Hello @mediagod!

Make sure you use a flex block with cache block results enabled on the homepage, for example. Save and view the page. Click on some title articles from that block. Go to System Status and check the option that will appear there.
If the option isn’t there, then deactivate all plugins except tagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache, and try again.

Thank you!

Hello @Fergus !

Please update the theme and plugins to the latest version.
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue. That’s why we recommend first deactivating ALL plugins except tagDiv ones; if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser), and see the results.

Thank you!

Hello @bduhamel!

This issue is because of the cache plugins that you use. Make a test, uninstall them, and check if the issue persists.

WHERE IS THE OPTION TO DELETE THE BLOCK CACHE!?! This is NOT appearing on the system status page per your instructions. This is absolutely needed. The block cache is currently showing stale results on my site and there is no way to clear it.

Before you even ask, the cache time has passed and the block still shows old results. It is absolutely the cache because the block shows the correct content when the cache is disabled.

I am running the latest version of the Newspaper Theme 12.6.3

I have the same problem. With 12.6.3 version, whithout cache plugin, the homepage does not update. Only if I logged in I can see the content updated. Could somebody help us?

I have an issue where the site won’t display properly for anyone not logged in either for the desktop or mobile unless I go and clear the cache and used CSS. I never know when the formatting is going to go out of whack, so this is highly annoying and probably driving away a lot of traffic. I have WP Rocket installed and I never had this issue before but it seems the latest versions of the theme have a problem.

There is also an issue with the Instagram and X widgets where Instagram just shows I have 0 followers all the time and X is frozen at 1710 followers.

My site is located here: https://www.theaterbyte.com

Also, note AMP is no longer “required” by Google for anything, and really only useful if you have high traffic site, slow server, or located someplace where audience may not have broadband and you want to serve cached pages off google. For most modern sites, simply having a clean simple mobile experience is better than using AMP.
(I don’t work here.)

Hello,

Site without cache plugin does not update homepage. If I am logged in the content is updated on the page.

All updates are up to date.
