On the template settings I’m getting the error: An error occurred while trying to access the server:timeout in the tag template section, was getting it in a number of the others until I downloaded a template for each of them.
I have a tag template in my cloud templates but that still doesn’t show up, when I click on the link in “Set a Cloud Library template for each tag individually” it takes me to the cloud template but is showing Author templates not TAG templates.

I think that for this you need to add a separate search, or change the search that the theme provides.
Now the easiest solution, as you said it is to add an widget in sidebar the add it with tagDiv Composer on your website. This is a strange situation, please if you can do a test using the theme plugins and other plugins that are tested with it and see if the issue persists.

I’ve checked the plugins when as i told you in the post that when i deactivate the tagDiv cloud library plugin the homepage comes up but with messed up styling and when i activate it i got 404 Page not found error on my homepage rest of the post pages work fine when i view them from WordPress dashboard.
i got 404 page not found error but when i deactivate tagDiv cloud library it works but the styling is messed up. Kindly help ASAP.

I just checked your website and now seems to look fine.
If you had shortcodes on the page, you had to make sure that the tagDiv plugins you used are enabled (tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, etc).

We’re getting that same error code. Tagdiv Cloud Library is showing an error “Invalid reply from server endpoint” with Newspaper Magazine Pro theme on WordPress version 5.8.

Yes, we are using single post templates via the Cloud Library – not standard post styles.
So, here is a post using a single post template: https://lab.org.uk/haiti-needs-solidarity-not-charity/
If you look at the source, you’ll see there is an additional ‘Like this post?’ element outside the ‘tdc-zone’ div element, which we have hidden with the following CSS:

This happens on all posts, regardless of whether we are using our custom related posts widget: https://lab.org.uk/glencore-and-anglo-american-blamed-for-pollution/
Then, here is a draft of the first post – locked via the Patreon plugin: https://lab.org.uk/?p=20871&preview=true&public=true
You’ll see that the outer template is locked – as opposed to the post itself. The post content is never loaded, and the ‘Unlock with Patreon’ element sits on the left – outside the post container element.
Finally, here is a draft of the second post – locked via the Patreon plugin. This post uses a template which has our custom related posts widget in the sidebar: https://lab.org.uk/?p=20872&preview=true&public=true
You’ll see that the post locking works perfectly. The outer template is displayed with featured image, title, categories and sidebar. The the ‘Unlock with Patreon’ element is in the correct position, and there are no duplicated elements.
The custom widget uses a WordPress post query loop. If this loop is removed, the post locking no longer works. When either the have_posts() or wp_reset_postdata() functions are called, post locking works as intended.

Usually the “Invalid reply from server endpoint error” is caused by insufficient WP_Memory_limit, in config is WP_MEMORY_LIMIT not PHP Memory Limit (there is a typo, sorry) if you’ll set it to 256M, (you can try to double the value) and if it is still not working, please check the rest of the settings from our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps. Also please make sure that you use an SSL to have https.
Also, for the smart list, if you import it from the cloud library, you need to have the Single Post Template with the Single Post Smartlist => https://www.screencast.com/t/tPsQsmVdNFs.

Hi Codicem, you have installed a Pro demo, and this is using cloud templates, therefore most of the ads are set on those cloud templates using tagDiv Composer. To remove the ads from categories, please edit the category template like this -> https://i.imgur.com/y2fQg8Z.png then select the ad box and check the image ad tab -> https://i.imgur.com/Yxx5lan.jpg you can check more details about the ad box in this guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-ad-spots/

I saw in the above video which you provided that you don’t have tagDiv Cloud Library installed and activated, so to have the option to make the background layout boxed you need to activate the tagDiv Cloud Library.

Hi MGatehouse, I think that this situation appears only when you are using a single post from tagDiv Cloud Library and not with a standard post style. If is so, then this can be because the cloud templates are some post types and the Patreon plugin is interpreted like a post types not like a template.
Now I can not guaranteed that I can help to fix this, but if I have some example and here to make some investigations, maybe I can provide some help.

Also, the Pre-designed Templates from tagDiv Cloud Library don’t load.

After updating the Newspaper theme, install and activate tagDiv Standard Pack and tagDiv Composer. This will keep your old design working.
Optional: Then you can start building/redesigning your website templates using tagDiv Cloud Library. Once you’re done with all required templates creation. You can enable them from the theme panel and choose to deactivate tagDiv Standard Pack plugin and optimize your website for better speed and performance.
P.S. If you are using a child theme, you need to update it as well. (especially functions.php file)

That is a part of the latest articles page template. The latest articles option and related posts come from WordPress not from Newspaper Theme.
