Hi Topfgartenwelt, if you want, you can use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, edit it with tagDiv Composer, and set the featured image size that you want on responsive version -> https://i.imgur.com/tnA3MAu.png this can be done for each view port.
Also you can use the mobile page and create mobile post templates -> https://i.imgur.com/Pn7UN8g.png
Unfortunately for the moment this option is not available on mobile theme.
Thank you!

Hello !

Please note that a lot has changed from Newspaper 7.3. An update to 10.3.9.1 would be almost impossible. Our suggestion is to redesign your website using Cloud Library templates or a PRO demo from the latest version.

Thank you !

Hello,

You can add a podcast by following these steps:
1. Edit a page with tagDiv Composer, and access this => https://www.screencast.com/t/kCS6vPh2Skk .
2. Search right there about “podcast” and choose which podcast you want(ex: Block 85) and select “Import section” => https://www.screencast.com/t/BCgUzAke0C5, the block will be set at the bottom page content.
3. Edit a post and do these settings like here in Post => https://www.screencast.com/t/ALdOK9pkboH
Post Format => Audio,
Paste your audio link in the empty label called “Featured Audio”.
4. Now edit the Flex Block with tagDiv Composer and use the filter tab =>https://www.screencast.com/t/HkrYdZ9wXl to display the posts with featured audio.

Hope that helps you!

Hi Vuong Nguyen, tagdiv composer is a page and cloud builder, it can be use only for pages and cloud templates, therefore you can use it on a single post template from tagdiv cloud library to adjust the layout, but not to wright the post content, for this you need to use the WordPress editor.
Thank you!

Hello, I’m experiencing the following problem: when I select a template from the cloud library and edit it and save and then disable standard pack, the template isn’t really using cloud library but the standard pack still as when I deactivated standard pack, the design isn’t used and I see a lot of text instead of the design.

Is it possible to somehow identify elements from cloud library only when using the composer to avoid this, or do I need to have standard pack disabled when using a cloud template to avoid this problem?

Hi Lalit Joshi, this https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_animals_pro/2019/03/14/td-post-adorable-remorseless-killing-machine-is-worlds-deadliest-cat/ is a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, you can get it from there and edit it after your needs.
If you want in amp to display the most custom filed then use only the amp, without mobile theme and use this option -> https://i.imgur.com/5Un15Ip.png

Hi ozgunminare, according to our screen you are using a cloud footer template from tagDiv Cloud Library, this can be edited using tagDiv Composer and add the element in footer zone -> https://i.imgur.com/ik7EQb4.jpg
Hope this will help you!

Hello !

Unfortunately this will require some custom work. Also to insert CPT-s in Cloud library elements like the blocks it is not possible at the moment. The support team does not cover custom work at the moment.

You can however still use the shortcodes and use the Column text element. Simply copy the shortcode and insert it in the text area of the column text as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/UEMEsVKog

Column text is an element from tagDiv Composer.

Thank you !

Hi,
I think that you are referring that it need to be display link this https://i.imgur.com/bauUmaf.png and is like this -> https://i.imgur.com/DPOm8o1.png this is because you are using some plugins and are in conflict with tagdiv Cloud Library, for example when you are using tagDiv Cloud Library with WPBakery.
Please try only with theme plugins, if the problem persists, please provide a link where I can inspect the situation.
Thank you!

Hi greenbooks,
That is a pre-build website -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
What you can do is to make your own posts -> https://wordpress.org/support/article/writing-posts/ also that is a pro website, therefore it was created using tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library for cloud templates. Therefore all pages and templates can be edited with tagdiv Composer builder -> https://i.imgur.com/IqjK0nX.jpg
You have some ore documentation for our theme here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ and here -> https://tagdiv.com/category/documentation/
Hope this will help you!

Hi,

Images are lost on TagDiv Slide after migration on homepage except turn off LazyLoad from theme panel -> https://imgur.com/hPDz1Ys

We don’t use any other image lazy-load or optimization plugins besides the theme LazyLoad.

Our plugin’s are;

– Classic Editor (from WordPress Contributors)
– tagDiv Cloud Library
– tagDiv Composer
– tagDiv Social Counter
– tagDiv Standard Pack

Is there any conflict between WordPress 5.6 and the theme?

Thanks.

Hello,

We get database errorrs randomly on the site.

The values get set to some TD variables.

One time it was ‘tds_mega_menu_subcategories_background’, ‘tds_mobile_text_active_color’, ‘td_module_mx9_title_excerpt

2020-12-04 13:28:37 33446 [Warning] Access denied for user ‘database_user’@’localhost’ to database ‘tds_mobile_text_active_color’

I have been debugging the wp-db core file to find out what database information is being sent.

\wp-db.php

The port information being sent is:

file_put_contents(/public_html/wp-content/ll.log”,’port12′.print_r($this->port,true).PHP_EOL,FILE_APPEND);

Returns tds_mobile_text_active_color

It doesn’t make sense.

Our site has these values:

host:127.0.0.1
dbuser:vwmain_main
port:tds_mobile_text_active_color
socket:tds_mobile_text_active_color
client_flags:tds_mobile_text_active_color

[field_count] => tds_mobile_text_active_color
[host_info] => tds_mobile_text_active_color

[protocol_version] => tds_mobile_text_active_color
[thread_id] => tds_mobile_text_active_color
[warning_count] => tds_mobile_text_active_color
)

Another site on the same server has these values.
host:localhost
dbuser:dbuser_main
port:
socket:
client_flags:
port11:
dbh:mysqli Object
(
[affected_rows] =>
[client_info] => mysqlnd 5.0.12-dev – 20150407 – $Id: 7cc7cc96xxxxx7c2abb23 $

[insert_id] =>
[server_info] =>
[server_version] =>
[stat] =>
[sqlstate] =>
[protocol_version] =>
[thread_id] =>
[warning_count] =>
)

I have switched to the twentytwenty theme and disabled all TD related plugins(td-cloud-library and td-social-counter).

Even then the values remained.

We then go to cpanel, and reset the php settings to get it to work.

Any ideas? The site keeps going down because of this.

I sent the site information and login information to your email. I cannot use the cloud library. Please let’s solve this as soon as possible. I lost a lot of time.

Thanks Vlad. I’ve been noticing that. I tracked it down somewhat:

There is code in the PHP file /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module.php
(or alternately /wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/includes/tdb_module.php, where similar code lives).

$custom_placeholder = td_util::get_option('tds_thumb_placeholder');

That thumb placeholder appears to get assigned, in the case of no featured image, on this line:

} else if( $custom_placeholder != '' && $css_image === true ) {
    $td_temp_image_url[0] = $custom_placeholder;

Then the assignment appears to be used here to render the thumbnail:

$buffy .= '<span class="entry-thumb td-thumb-css" data-type="css_image" data-img-url="' . $td_temp_image_url[0] . '" ' . $retina_image . ' ></span>';

That option tds_thumb_placeholder is being defined in the wordpress database. It’s in the wp_options table, in the rows with option_name td_011 and td_011_settings. Unfortunately, the option_value for those two items are PHP serialized data, and contain an insane 2,500 rows of information (all inside one single database cell — over 256kb of data).

Trying to unserialize the data using online tools has proven fruitless.

I’m thinking of writing additional PHP code near those if statements to simply add a class like “no-thumb” when there is no featured image. Of course overwriting plugin code is a challenge, as there’s no such thing as a “child plugin” the way there is a “child theme”, but I’m sure there’s a way to do that without risking issues when the plugin is updated.

I built the whole site in about 4 hours, then I’ve spent 4+ hours trying to hide just that one thumbnail. Can it be added as a feature request to be able to turn off thumbnail placeholders? I see from searching around that I’m not the first person to ask.

Cheers,
Michael

Hi,

A banner image you mean like an ad? An ad or an image would have no relation to the posts. Are you maybe looking for a specific block design to display posts? There are quite a few block designs to choose from in the cloud library https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks
Could you maybe provide an example of the desired result?

Thank you!

Hello !

You can create your sidebar using tagDiv Composer if you use cloud library templates: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU&t=1s

On mobile you can achieve that using theme panel – Ads – Footer Ads.

Thank you !
