I don’t quite understand how exactly are you trying to do that, by specific category page. Pages you can design in every way you want, individually. But fore category pages you can only use templates.
With the new features introduced in 8.8 you can now design category templates, so maybe you can create templates designed how you want and apply them

The problem occured, because GoDaddy made changes to their business servers,therefore, tagDiv Cloud Library is not to blame…

Hi, I got saveral questions about new plugin TagDiv CL.
1. Why I can’t see Import button? (I must zoom out to -80% to display import buttom)
2. Why Installing TD CL template take too long? even can’t be imported
3. While try to edit TD Cloud Library tamplate, it show message “Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!” and loading process keep rolling.
4. When try to Share article with share button, it show “Full Featured Image https://irfan.id/tdb_templates/single-post-template-20/”, not showing article it self please take a look here https://irfan.id/ingin-investasi-saham-tapi-tidak-punya-npwp-begini-caranya/

One more question, do you plan to introduce the More Article Box on the single templates from tagdiv cloud library? (Also, if possible, consider adopting the size of the “edit content” box for the column text and other text elements for smaller screens.)
This is to inform you, that every time I add a new template, our server crashes and the site goes down. We then need to restart the server and the templates work fine, but….

Maybe there will be modifications to the category descriptions, as you know the Cloud library is in beta faze. I will add this on our list and it will be looked over.

Not all the pages of tagDiv Cloud Library are allowing me to create the template. They don’t have the button on the page. Specifically, the Single > Single Post Template 1 doesn’t have a button to “Create Template”
I am getting the error “Invalid reply from server endpoint.” in “Pre-designed Templates – tagDiv Cloud Library” whenever I am trying to load a template.

Unfortunately only Cloud library templates can be edited with the drag and drop builder. You will not be able to edit the old post templates or custom made ones. Sorry.

Just one more question – this new function looks great (cloud library), and if I get it right, you can import template and costumize it drag-and-drop way. But I have a template I use for my posts (one of old default ones) – can it also be styled drag-and-drop way like new templates? I mean, that would be easier than going into Child theme and placing shortcode into code. Can the old existing templates be modified like the new ones you import?

The pull down filter is displayed only for the default category templates, at this moment. This may change as the Cloud library plugin is developed.

You can implement your widget using a do_shortcode function in the theme post template files or by adding it on a new post tmepalte using the cloud library plugin. You can add the shortcode on the post template in a column text element. The theme panel post ads will be displayed for all the posts, there should be now way to show an ad for specific posts.
With the new features, that would be possible. Through the tagDiv Cloud library plugin you can import or create post templates. Ads fro these templates can be added in the composer directly

So you could create a post template or use a predefined post template in the Cloud library plugin, and enter the ads you want. Then apply that template specifically to the posts in which you want to display the ads. This could be a solution if you should consider it.

They should save as templates, which you can use depending on your needs (posts, categories etc).
So you are using the add new button in the cloud library settings, and select a template

This should import the predefined template in the composer, where you can modify it or just save it as it is. All these templates should only be displayed here

What exactly is happening in your case? Try in your localhost without any other plugins active, use only theme plugins. Do not make any modifications to WordPress or the theme. If possible create a clean WordPress install on your localhost and install the theme there, with theme plugins. Let us know what you find.

The big issue regarding similar problem is with the TagDivComposer the blue on the left, there is nothing we can do there, even if we use our screen settings. Make that responsible, as most of the time, we are guessing what to do..

Yes, indeed the new cloud library offers the possibility of placing the author avatar next to the author name. Sorry, it slipped my mind with all of the new options available. My bad. 🙂

Just updated to Newspaper 8.8.1 and would like to use a template from the CLoud Library but when I click onto the template I would like to use there is no option to import the template to my site.
Has anyone else had this problem? Anybody know how to fix it?
Yes, deactivating the Cloud Library plugin resolved it.

Sorry but the composer will not work on posts using custom fields and it will not work on custom post types. Sorry. The new template builder allows the custom templates being created for posts in the tagdiv composer but unfortunately these cannot be applied to custom post types. Custom post types will only use the default post template and do not benefit from the custom templates provided by the cloud library plugin.
