I have decided to make a daughter site to my primary site for secondary needs and readers’ submissions, and visual composer doesn’t work there. It took me an hour to test everything I could before it occurred to me, that this plugin may have an installation limit.
The question: is this plugin just for one installation, or is it an installation error?

BTW for those who might have the same problem – found a work around which seems to work…
Instead of using ‘Single image’ use text block instead, and from the bar click on ‘add media’ This shows the captions and also makes modal work too.
Fingers crossed the next update to VC doesn’t stop this working

Hi,
My pages such as the home page and contact page are showing up broke all of a sudden, specifically the visual composer sidebar widgets are not showing where should. So the whole front page is now not showing correctly. The home page was built off the magazinly template and was showing up fine and just randomly it broke. I wasn’t touching anything on the home page or theme code.

When I insert an image into a post using the visual composer single image button the caption does not show below the image (This also applies to the image gallery caption). However the caption does show if I use the classic mode > add media. But trying to get the classic code to mesh with the visual composer code is a nightmare as they don’t recognise each other.
Any help on making the captions show up would be very appreciated, thanks!

I’m using W3 Total Cache and WP-Postviews plugins. Homepage is built with one of the Newspaper Theme’s templates (with Visual Composer).
The post views are displayed correctly on the category pages and on the single post page as well. But on the homepage all posts have the same number of views…
Any suggestions on where to start looking?

Well, if v 4.3.1 came out August 1 (today), and the theme was updated couple of days ago, it’s hardly possible for the version that shipped July 29 to have the version of the plugin that was released August 1. So, presumably, as noted before, the next version of Newspaper will have the updated version of plugin. 🙂
So I updated to the latest version of Newspaper but keep getting there is an update to the WPBakery composer. I understand how the license works, but is this correct that as of 8/1/2014, Newspaper version 4.1 is only compatible with WPBakery version 4.2.3? Meaning the update to WPBakery version 4.3.1 is not included?

Hi,
You can purchase it if you want, but we haven’t tested how theme works with a version newer than the one we include in the theme update so please make a backup of your theme before updating the plugin or wait until the next update and we will include the plugins update also.

Updated to newest version of Newspaper (love this theme and the support btw, you guys are good). Noticed now I have an update to WPBakery. Tried to do the install per your instructions but keeps going to version 4.2.3 vs 4.3. Am I missing something?

1. You can use the modal window for which image you want, just edit image and enable the modal feature.

2. I have tested this and seems that live search should works fine using the themes last version, in your case this issue may appear due to a plugin conflict, try deactivating some plugins and see if this changes.
Please let me know.

we try to keep the SEO the same for all pages.
if you ask me I wold go with Visual Composer pages because it give you some flexibility when displaying your content, the downside of this is that you have to do the pages manually.

Seems like you have an Visual Composer issue, try deactivating all plugins enabling only Visual Composer and see if it’s working if it doesn’t work please follow this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/ and update Visual Composer.

Does this plugin need to be running if you’re using certain areas of the template like the slide? I was testing my speed and noticed that the plugin takes a decent time to load up but noticed that when I disable it, my theme gets a bit mixed up and shows alot of code for example:

When I activate it again, it goes back to normal. (I’m trying to limit plugins)
