Hi,

You can use an alternative method. Edit td_module_14 in the theme files and just move the title code above the image: http://screencast.com/t/SCRthLrAq. Then use a bit of css styling to adjust the title:

.td_block_13 .meta-info-container h3{
padding-left:20px
}
.td_module_14 .td-module-meta-info{
bottom: -45px;
}

Now the responsiveness does not get affected.

Thanks.

Alin,

Thanks for the quick reply. I don’t mind using the custom CSS at all and it seems to have fixed things right up.

Thanks for the help!

Hi,

The tagdiv gallery was not designed to be used in a text block using Visual Composer. If you add it in a post content without using VC you will see that it wont be any issues. This is on our list and we will fix it as soon as possible.
You can try this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css until we fix it – http://screencast.com/t/ATzbkNYW

.single .td-pb-span12 .wpb_text_column .td-slide-on-2-columns .td-slide-galery-figure {
width: 100%;
}
.single .td-pb-span12 .wpb_text_column .td-slide-on-2-columns .td-doubleSlider-1 .td-slide-item img {
max-width: 100%;
}

Thanks!

Hi

Note that the Speed Booster plugin disable itself when an incompatible plugin it’s installed. We added this measure to avoid conflicts with the plugins that won’t allow to move their css/js resources at page bottom. Check in System status if the plugin is active: http://screencast.com/t/slBN4kNf To keep it always activated please follow this link: http://screencast.com/t/RZLIOPUNdqh

Thanks for message!

Hi,

Follow this link to add the text in the same container with the logo: http://screencast.com/t/1JQW3e8j then replies the previous CSS with code below:

.time-modified {
margin-top: 80px;
}

In the screenshot you can see the result: http://screencast.com/t/qtv6A68CIF

Thanks.

Hello,

1) For the text widget size there is an option in the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/BtQTEbcz0I
For colors you have to use CSS:
.td-main-sidebar .widget_text{
color:red
}

2) It can only be targeted with CSS
#commentform input[type=text],
#commentform input[type=url],
#commentform input[type=tel],
#commentform input[type=email],
#commentform textarea{
font-size:20px
}

3) You have to identify the module used by the block. For example a module 6 title can be changed from here: http://screencast.com/t/eQ5thbs9e. You can inspect the block with your browser inspector and you can see the class used by it or you can use the Excerpts setting to see what modules are used for each block.
As for the color, you have to use css again. there is no option for it in the theme panel
.td_module_6 .td-module-title a{
color:red;
}

(the module in your image might not be a module 6 so you have to change the settings to the module used by your block. i just set module 6 as an example)

4) Unfortunately there is no option in the theme panel for it. You have to use CSS:
.td_module_related_posts .td-module-title a{
font-size:20px;
color:red;
}

5)The module on your homepage is an mx 2 and can be adjusted in the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/f38U5Q3Cl6m

6)The default page template has no sidebar. You have to use on of the 2 other page templates for it to display: http://screencast.com/t/z244vqFWMo

Thank you!

Oh never mind…i solved it by adding some custom JS and CSS.

http://jsfiddle.net/livibetter/HV9HM/

This is really helpful if anyone else wants to make the newsticker sticky

Custom js
jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
function sticky_relocate() {
var window_top = $(window).scrollTop();
var div_top = $('#sticky-anchor').offset().top;
if (window_top > div_top) {
$('#sticky').addClass('stick');
} else {
$('#sticky').removeClass('stick');
}
}

$(function () {
$(window).scroll(sticky_relocate);
sticky_relocate();
console.log("hello");
})
});

Custom CSS:

#sticky.stick {
position: fixed;
top: 100px;
width: 860px;
}

Copy both stuff and place it in the themepanel. Add the following elements anywhere to echo the newsticker

<div id="sticky-anchor"></div>
<div id="sticky">
<?php echo do_shortcode('[td_block_trending_now]');?>
</div>

Hi @grupoinnovate,

I suggest you to use a plugin like Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order. Please note that we did not test it with the theme, but I see that many users use it.

If you want to put the word “Miami” before the date in your top bar menu, please follow this step below:
http://screencast.com/t/ZZff0BVp

Here you can see the result: http://screencast.com/t/Nej9juTpyvjb

To fix the problem with mobile, please try this custom CSS:
http://screencast.com/t/xF2CF4NVGusqhttp://screencast.com/t/D0iA5AnY

@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full, .td-header-sp-top-menu {
display: block!important;
}
}

Hope this helps!
Thanks and let us know how it goes!

Hi

I have installed speed booster plugin in my site and followed the instructions appeared here https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

Once i run the code..

function td_inspect_scripts() {
global $wp_scripts, $wp_styles;
echo 'registered scripts<br>';
foreach ($wp_scripts->queue as $handle) {
echo $handle . ' | ' . $wp_scripts->registered[$handle]->src . '<br>';
}
echo 'registered styles<br>';
foreach ($wp_styles->queue as $handle) {
echo $handle . ' | ' . $wp_styles->registered[$handle]->src . '<br>';
}
}
add_action( 'wp_print_scripts', 'td_inspect_scripts' );

Got the snippet as follows…

registered scripts
admin-bar | /wp-includes/js/admin-bar.min.js
contact-form-7 |
td-site | http://www.wpdiv.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.js
comment-reply | /wp-includes/js/comment-reply.min.js
registered styles
admin-bar | /wp-includes/css/admin-bar.min.css
contact-form-7 |
boxes | http://www.wpdiv.com/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/css/adminbar.min.css
parent-style | http://www.wpdiv.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/style.css
js_composer_front | http://www.wpdiv.com/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/assets/css/js_composer.css
td-theme | http://www.wpdiv.com/wp-content/themes/WPDIV/style.css

Based on above results i did added the strings in my speedbooster plugin as shown below based on your manual here https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

$this->move_style_to_footer_queue('parent-style');
$this->move_style_to_footer_queue('td-theme');
$this->move_style_to_footer_queue('js_composer_front');

$this->move_js_to_footer('td-site');
$this->move_js_to_footer('comment-reply');

But still i am getting the same issues…. http://prntscr.com/8u044l

Where i did wrong and will you please help me to get rid of the errors experiencing here.

Hi

Sorry about that.
Replace the previous css with this one, I’ve targeted only the pages:

.page .td-social-but-text{
top: 0;
}

The try this code, it should work fine: http://pastebin.com/YaVCTvbqhttp://screencast.com/t/XKkivpIdOFGi
Please note that the theme doesn’t control the shared information, you will need a plugin to do that.

Thanks!

Hello croboy,

Visual composer was not tested on posts. It has that option and you can add blocks to your post , but you will need custom CSS modification to position it.
You can add a padding to it with CSS:

.single-post .td_block_wrap{
padding-top:50px
}

Place it in the theme panel-custom CSS box.
This code adds a padding to all block elements on posts (all of them will stick to the text without a padding or margin set to them). You can tweak the value in the code to your preference.

Thanks.

Hi

You need to edit category.php file and add a new container for the image like here: http://screencast.com/t/GFvCVVApC5

<div class="category-image">
<img src="image url/path"/>
</div>

Then you can use the css class: category-image to customize the image as you want, here is an example: http://screencast.com/t/mmCYujXajn

.category-image img{
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}

More useful information about css coding can be found here: http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp

Hope this help.
Thanks!

Hello,

Anything other than what the theme options can provide will have to be done either with a plugin or custom work.
You can modify the theme files, for example in header style 4, you simply place the header code above the top bar and their position will be switched. It will require a bit of adjusting using CSS though: http://screencast.com/t/dtu6auR4hhttp://screencast.com/t/tzqrFloq0t

Thanks.

The theme wasn’t designed to display the top menu on mobile devices, but you can use this custom css in theme panel > custom css to display it: http://screencast.com/t/AjbppVaZrk

@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu {
display: block;
}

Hello,
You can try this custom CSS to your page or to your custom row classes. It involves a max height you can specify to your content:

.page-id-10735 .vc_row-o-content-middle{
max-height:700px!important;
}

Thanks.

The theme panel=>custom css area does not contain the following code below. I even checked advanced.

.header-logo-wrap {
margin-right: 100px;
width: 250px;
}

It must be in another css file or area.

Hello @tagdiv-da-beast,

I understand what do you want to display on your site and you can do this if follow this steps below:
First of all you must put the function in corect template like this: http://screencast.com/t/5beSjRSYgA2p and after which please try this custom CSS in theme panel for a good customization:

.time-modified {
margin-left: 50px;
}

If you want to change another format display for date, please take a look on this link: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_modified_time

Hope this helps!
Let us know how it goes!

Thanks.
